Mothers day video chat

Alexithymiaa: -Adam sat at the kitchen table with a bowl of pasta in front of him, his laptop set up with the video chat going of his mother's on the other end. The two of them were squeezed into the frame, each with their own bowls of pasta. "Are you going to open your cards now?" He asked them, poking his fork through his bowl. // "Of course sweetie, but we wanted to finish dinner first that way we didnt get sauce on them."-
Tsaaq: Hayley came down the stairs, listening to Adam on the computer talking to his moms. She went to jog towards the kitchen and stood around in the background looking at the two older women, basically being nosey and such, waving.
Covet: Tae made her way inside, having to more or lest force her dad into letting her take the bus home, but she'd finally convinced him to let her go. She closed the door quietly, seeing Adam and Hayley doing something on the computer. She went to sit down on the couch pulling her feet up to the cushions. She wasn't intending to eaves drop, but pulled out her phone instead, flipping through her contacts.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay. Well I want to watch y'all open them." He said with a smile. He saw his mother's faces perk up as they started to laugh, furrowing his brows in confusion before turning to look behind him at Hayley waving in the background. "Oh, I didnt hear you come down. Do you want to come sit? We're having Mother's Day dinner together." // Erin and Georgia waved back at Hayley. "Hayley come join us. How have you been?"-
Tsaaq: "I just got off the phone with Mom so this is fine." Hayley said as she went to sit down behind him. "I've been alright." She answered with a shrug. "Trying to live life the best I can." She laughed. "How are you both? Miss you guys." Hayley said. She glanced behind her as Tae came inside the house.
Covet: Tae gave a silent wave to them, seeing Hayley turn around, then went back to looking at her phone finding the old conversation between her and Persephone, shooting off a text her direction.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam gave a smile to his moms because the fact that they liked Hayley so much made him happy. "Well finish up your dinner so you can open cards soon." Seeing Hayley look behind them at the couches, he also turned to see her, sending a wave before turning back to his computer screen. // "Oh, that's good to hear. Things out here are going well. We're happy the weather finally broke." Erin finished off her pasta, picking up her envelope and beginning to open it and read. Giving a little sniffle, she looked into the camera. "Oh Adam, this is so sweet."-
Tsaaq: Hayley nodded her head as she listened. "Yeah you both look great. Happy Mother's Day by the way!" She smiled. She leaned forward and watched the opening of cards and nudged Adam. "Awww." She teased. "Such a good son."
Covet: Tae was just focusing on the messages on her phone, responding to Persephone's answer, reaching up to wipe her eyes before the tears fell.
Alexithymiaa: -He smirked and looked down, moving his hand to rub at the back of his neck. "It took me a while to pick them out..." He started before looking at Hayley, his cheeks a little hot. // Georgia quickly jumped at the opportunity to open her own card, also sniffling. Theyre softies. "Oh baby..." She started as she read hers, the two of them drying their eyes. "We love you so much. Thank you. And thank you, Hayley. Did you see your mother today?"-
Tsaaq: "Yesss. We face time'd. With the grandmas too." Hayley answered. "I miss them..." She trailed off. "But it's okay. I'm trying to send like a care package to them too. I'm just taking forever cause I'm silly." She pouted. "I got my mom a dumb card that sings. She's gonna be so annoyed." Hayley said proudly.
Covet: Tae frowned at the message, but had kind of composed herself again, while she messaged Persephone. [she's doing as much until you need me in...etc.]
Alexithymiaa: -Adam laughed and swung his arm around the back of Hayley's chair, shaking his head. "I'm not at all surprised." He picked up his fork again, taking a few bites of pasta. // "Oh how sweet of you." Erin spoke before Georgia chimed in. "It was so nice to spend this time with you, but we should probably get ready for bed. Early start tomorrow. But we love you and we miss you and we'll visit soon." The two women waved before the video disconnected.-
Tsaaq: "Good nice Miss Erin and Miss Georgia!" Hayley waved again then looked over to Adam as the video went out. "They'll visit soon? Interesting." Hayley wiggled her eyebrows. "Hey Tae. How's your mom? That's where you were today right?" She asked.
Covet: "Hmm?" She said then looked up from her phone, "Oh yeah. That's right. She's alright. I hate seeing her in there. Especially today, even though we got to walk a little on the beach. How was mother's day for you guys?"
Alexithymiaa: "I guess so." He said as he waved goodbye to them. "I was thinking of going home for a long weekend after finals just to see them and Gabe and Winnie." He turned in his chair to look over at Tae. "Well that's nice at least. And I'm sure she enjoyed spending the day with y'all. Unfortunately I couldn't be with my moms this year, so video chatting was the next best thing."-
Tsaaq: Hayley nodded. "Well... I guess I can do a thing... Help you pay or something?" Hayley offered. She shrugged at Tae. "Well yours sounded better than mine. I literally just facetimed for an hour then hung up." She pouted.
Covet: "Yeah, I guess it was nicer." Tae said softly. "I'm sorry you guys couldn't see your mom's." Despite how much she wanted to feel sorry for herself right now, she had it way better than everyone else around her. " Did you guys have a good weekend?" She asked them, trying to change the subject from moms.
Alexithymiaa: "I actually have money from my birthday, and Eli gave me a bonus so I think I should be okay." He said with a smile, leaning over to give Hayley a kiss on the cheek before looking to Tae. "A relaxing weekend for the most part. Just worked and studied, which is always nice."-
Tsaaq: She furrowed her brow and scrunched up her face, snapping her fingers as if she was beaten to the punch. "It's okay. I talked to her anyways." Hayley told Tae. "Oh yeah, of course. It wasn't eventual which can be a good thing." She shrugged.
Covet: "Why not just go with him since you can't help him out pay wise?" Tae asked raising her eyebrows, "You'd be spending the money on that either way right?" She said looking between them.
Alexithymiaa: (Forewarning, he'd be more than happy to let her come with him, but this is me setting up for when I'm gone for a few days in June so I dont want you to write yourself into a corner of not being able to play her)

Alexithymiaa: -He shrugged his shoulders, looking at Hayley. "You can come if you want to. I'd probably just be hanging around the house to spend time with everyone anyway, so it's not like I have big plans or anything. And I still need to look and see when I'd plan the trip for."-
Tsaaq: "Well..." Hayley trailed off before sputtering her lips. "Yeah I could go with you. I don't have any plans, ever, usually." Hayley said before flashing him a smile. "Just let me know when?"
Covet: Tae gave them a smile, even though it stung that everyone else got to have happy couple times. "I'll hold down the fort here, I doubt anything will happen anyways." She shrugged.
Alexithymiaa: "Sure. Maybe tomorrow I'll start looking at flights and see what I can find?" He asked her before looking at Tae again. "Isn't that better? I think we've all had our fair share of drama lately, so a quiet weekend will be nice."-
Tsaaq: She smiled at him and patted his shoulder. "Keep me updated!" She said before looking to Tae. "Yeah. It's better when things are boring." Hayley added. "It means that there isn't any bullshit to deal with."
Covet: "Mhhm. Oh for sure. I can use the time to work on the dance routine for work or something. Maybe get some more costume work done too." She said with a smile, then saw the time. " I need to get in the shower tonight though, so I'm going to head upstairs. You guys have a good night though, I'll see you in the morning." She said to them as she got up to make her way upstairs for the shower and bed thigns.
Alexithymiaa: "Goodnight Tae." He said to her before pushing up to his feet, walking his saucey bowl into the sink to deal with tomorrow since it was late already. He grabbed for his computer, tucking it under his arm and turning to Hayley. "Are you ready for bed?"-
Tsaaq: "Yep." She smiled as she went towards the stairs. "So lets get our sleep on." Hayley danced as she went to jog up the stairs.
