  4. Known bugs:
  5. 1. Audio drivers cannot be reinstalled, you must manually use Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage to remove the DTS software first, then attempt reinstall
  6.  
  7. 2. Color management is for SDR mode ONLY! Do NOT change color profile using Xiaomi software when the display is in HDR mode, else the colors will be blown out, and you will need to manually remove the icc profiles using Windows Color Management.

  9. SDR -> Use Xiaomi color management = correct
  10. HDR -> No Xiaomi color management = correct
  11. SDR -> No Xiaomi color management = incorrect but not terrible (too saturated)

  13. HDR -> Use Xiaomi color management = very bad
  14. HDR -> Use Xiaomi color management -> delete ICC -> Disable HDR -> SDR -> Use Xiaomi color management = correct

  16. Generally always leaving HDR mode on keeps the screen at 10bit and works well enough for me, but breaks screenshots (Windows 10 bug).

  18. 3. Xiaomi software displays incorrectly on English versions of Windows 10 (see reddit post - search `Unicode`)

  20. 4. Windows update tries repeatedly to install old versions of Intel Graphics drivers with blown out HDR colors. Black listing using gpedit does NOT work, you must block the update quickly using https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/wushowhide.html Then use DDU to remove the Intel drivers (and optionally the realtek driver w/ DDU and manually use Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage), then install latest Intel graphics
