- The year is 3101 AD. The location, Planet Earth. Years ago, humanity sought to use the power of Geothermal energy to replace that of fossil fuels constantly depleting. And it worked as they channeled the energy into crystals called Quantum Refractors (a Megaman Legends reference).
- But criminals still exist, seeking to profit from the advent of Refractor energy. As police forces gather with giant robots to fight off other giant robots piloted by criminals, specialized groups of pilots called Build Teams start to reconstruct the damage done in the process.
- Two Build Teams, the Eonkaiser and Rakaiser teams, discover that the man who created the Build Team mechs gave their teams the ability to combine into Super Build Mechanoids able to fight off the now-massive forces of evil. And inbetween rebuilding their home city of Coastal Grove, USA, they have to keep up their normal duties.
