  5. First of all I would like to point out that drowning the Kargarok Rider is only 6 seconds faster than a regular quick kill (which you can learn more about here: https://youtu.be/j08NRXphWDE), so I would never recommend it to anyone who isn't already top-player-consistent with tricks like SSS, EMS, PC, GS, Morpheel etc. /b/To put it in perspective you save a lot more time practising timing your B presses for one-cycle Deku Toad. But with that out of the way let's get to it./b/

  7. /q/how do I not crash on Kargarok Skip?/q/
  8.
  9. By not being grabbed by the Kargarok while the rider is dead.
  10. /q/how do I not get grabbed?/q/
  11.
  12. By moving away from its grab range. While there are many ways one can avoid its claws it is best to walk diagonally away. I've seen someone who tap swims away which seems to work well but I cannot personally vouch for it as I've never done it myself. I can however tell you that I quite literally have a 100% success rate doing it the way I do it and I have done it about 100 times at this point.

  14. Like Devil mentioned it does not matter how much of a head start you give yourself as the Kargarok has a sort of rubber banding behaviour. It will snap towards you if you don't avoid it in a certain way.
  15.
  16. /q/like I've always just it as I see him coming over the hill then just go for my life/q/
  17.
  18. This can be seen as panicking which is what feeds the Kargarok. Instead, you need to allow yourself to wait approx. half a second before you do a 180 roll and dash into the water. After Link has completely finished the dash animation in the water you put on Iron Boots and turn the camera 180. Now walk up-left so that you move diagonally away. The Kargarok will seem really close to you but he will never grab you.(edited)
  19. This setup is of course complimented by the initial setup as you wait for the Rider to finish shooting arrows and the Kargarok to finish its careless flying. I can guarantee that the method works as long as you do exactly as I do. The initial setup has to be done in a certain way and the reactionary part has to be done a certain way. The great thing about this setup is that it will work even if the Kargarok gives you a really awkward and difficult flying pattern. /b/I don't have any specific tutorials on this but as long as you copy what I do in my runs then that will be sufficient./b/

  26. Thank you to @Domiok for teaching me this method with these specific visual cues back in 2014 that I was told @Adam used.

  28. Oh yes and to follow up on what 420XX mentioned, you can react to being grabbed and quickly reset before the crash happens
  29. But if that happens you should probably just accept defeat and start a new run as the time loss is very similar to failing SSS and if you're going for this skip then you already have a really good time
