- You will need:
- GodMode9
- A 3DS with CFW
- IMPORTANT!!: Make sure you have installed their Episode 1 Update patch CIA.
- 1. Boot into GodMode9.
- 2. Enter [SYSNAND SD] and head to /title/0004000e/0014AD00/, click on 0000000.app and choose 'Mount image to drive...'.
- 3. Mark each of the directories/files using the L button and press the Y button to copy the files.
- 4. Head back to GM9's main menu, enter [SDCARD], and go to /luma/titles/. Press the Y+R buttons to make a new directory. Name it exactly like this: 000400000014AD00.
- 5. Once inside the new directory, press Y and then A to paste the files from the update CIA into the directory.
- 6. Reboot into Luma's configuration menu and ensure that game patching is enabled.
- 7. Reboot onto the HOME Menu and head into System Settings. Enter 'Data Management', then 'Add-On Content'. Once in the menu, delete the Update Data for 'The Great Ace Attorney'.
- After that, you should be able to load a digital version of the game in English with no problems. If the game prompts you to update before launching it, ignore that.
- Also, if you know how to maneuver PackHack you can also use that to grab the files from the CIA. But that's for a different time.
