- Not as many people are engaging in pure research a you think
- Rarely do they investigate the premises they take for granted
- Ruled by intellectual fads
- Politically morivted and isolated
- Academic mobbing is a big deal
- Even hard sciences accept these fads and metapolitical theorems enough to always hve an uphill battle when the social sciences want to infect thir generally unexamoned concepts into STEM
