- Isn't avian demon race not sinners but actual Hellborn demons? Like Stolas and Stella?
- -
- Nah, sinners can be whatever, usually a form of ironic punishment or something in reletion to their past lives.
- Stolas is his own thing that happens to look like an owl.
- -
- So are Stella, Octavia and other birdlike demons (for example, Layla and August) the same race as him? Or just the same Avian race as the some of sinners?
- -
- Octavia by birthright inherited Stolas' origin, that beign a fallen angel aswell as his looks.
- Since only hellborn can reproduce (sinners are most likely sterile) Stella must be among the original fallen angels, perhaps a relatively lowranking one in regards of Stolas, considering he holds a prince title but still quite high on social ladder.
- I wouldn't say there are races, sinners look the way they look due to their past lives without any real ties to any race, and sinners similar looking most likely share some of the vices amongst eachother.
- Like Angel's family all beign spider due to "the web of crime" they were part of as Viv put it.
- The only actual races that i think are somewhat confirmed are the low ranking hellborn, imps, hellhounds, succbi, etc.
- Perhaps there are some higher ranking ones we haven't seen yet.
- The royals however seem to not really have any restrictions to their appearence and due to their power can just take whatever form they please with many beign able to take human forms aswell when commanded(or when they wnat to) going by their colorful descriptions in demonology that Viv took a bit of inspiration from.
- Perhaps Stola's court including his wife simply mimics his appearence of a bird to appease him?
- It would make sense for the low ranking fallen angels to mimic the appearence of their patron royal as a visible show of loyalty and servitude, instantly recognisable by others.

- >low ranking fallen angels mimic the appearance of their patron royal as a visible show of loyalty and servitude, instantly recognizable by others.
- Huh, I guess that makes sense and I kinda dig this idea
