I was a security guard outside of a bank in pacoima.
Nice place. The same people would show up everyday. It was a very local
bank. Nobody really started shit. Folks would come up to me
and be friendly and eventually a sense of kinship was built. I was
the security guard. I was there 5 days a week. the other guard only 2.

It was a good place to work on my people skills.

Every now and then you get some nuts. In America, you can be insane, you can be
a sociopath, you can be retarded. And nobody cares. Nobody rises to the occasion.
This guy needs help. They just let you be.

One day, this guy walks out of the bank. Comes up to me. Introduces himself.
Points out that I'm new. Asks me what I'm trying to get out of life. And i love existential
conversations with other people because it gives me a chance to be more introspective.
They could ask questions that I may overlook or am too afraid to on my own.

He talked about his early years and his vices. Cheating on his wife with whores and
gambling. Stealing shit. Prison. But then he found god
and everything turned out, not good, he's certainly wasted a lot of time
but his ship is steering toward a better place now
which is all well and good
but then he tries to talk me into believing

Religion is like antidepressants
It may work for some people
but it doesn't work for all of them
and sometimes even fucks them up even more

I think he's just being euphoric that the church
gave him meaning
and he wants to share it
with someone on the outside
and that's fine

He wants to share the love

and then he brings up abortion
and how women are filled with sin
and I had to cut the whole thing short
This guy is not filled with love
He's drunk the kool-aid
and has just been swallowed up
by a bigger sociopath in the sky

God is a sociopath. The story of God
was written by sociopaths

"Sir, if your business at the bank is concluded
then you need to leave."
