  1. 1: Muscle March:
  2.
  3. Scouts: dippidy, will
  4. Pocket: safrix
  5. Roamer: tojo
  6. Demo: odb
  7. Medic: aZn
  8.
  9. After beating mr_popo in their most recent match, it looks like Muscle March may win season 25. They haven't dropped a single round so far, (excluding their match against mr_popo) and all of their players have IM or invite experience. Muscle March is a very, very good team that has what it takes to win season 25.
  10.
  11. standout players: fucking everybody
  12.
  13. 2: mr_popo:
  14.
  15. Scouts: yimi, John Milter
  16. Pocket: mr_popo???
  17. Roamer: zilly
  18. Demo: vaati
  19. Medic: Grimm
  20.
  21. Most believed that mr_popo would win open this season, but after their recent loss versus Muscle March, the public opinion has shifted towards a second place finish for them. More doubt was cast on their victory when they barely won 4-3 against power surge on product, but it still seems likely that they will still finish in second.
  22.
  23. Standout players: yimi, John Milter, vaati, zilly
  24.
  25. 3: dug1:
  26.
  27. Scouts: morsica/Rikachu
  28. Pocket: extracrispy
  29. Roamer: maelstrom
  30. Demo: MrTheScout
  31. Medic: turkeylips
  32.
  33. This team is a mixture of newer, up-and-coming players and older, more experienced ones. Although they did lose a match 4-2 against The Sparkle Gang, product results can sometimes be skewed and not reflect overall skill, especially with a less experienced medic on their team.
  34.
  35. Standout players: maelstrom, Rikachu
  36.
  37. 4: The Sparkle Gang:
  38.
  39. Scouts: spamfest, split
  40. Pocket: Dagger
  41. Roamer: june
  42. Demo: mu
  43. Medic: Stochastic
  44.
  45. This team has consistently been mid-high IM for several seasons now, but it was extremely hard to place them. They did win against dug1 on product, but with some roster switch ups from the previous season and other various factors, it seems wrong to place them above dug1. We'll see what happens. I might be wrong about them.
  46.
  47. Standout players: split, dagger, mu
  48.
  49. 5: Machine_Soldier_Esports:
  50.
  51. Scouts: dflame, n3
  52. Pocket: tambo
  53. Roamer: Percy
  54. Demo: mc
  55. Medic: Pops
  56.
  57. Recently picking up former invite player, tambo, Machine_Soldier_Esports is a very solid team, deriving their only loss from a match against The Sparkle Gang. This is a very solid team, but I don't think they have what it takes to beat The Sparkle Gang.
  58.
  59. Standout players: mc, percy, tambo, n3
  60.
  61. 6: The Brogrammers:
  62.
  63. Scouts: phone, messiah
  64. Pocket: Hooey
  65. Roamer: Meatball
  66. Demo: 3O1/Cray
  67. Medic: Caboose
  68.
  69. This is another very solid team, with lots of IM experience. Although they have dropped a significant number of rounds against teams of lower stature, The Brogrammers has a crazy good scout combo that has established itself as one of the best in open this season.
  70.
  71. Standout players: phone, messiah, 3O1
  72.
  73. 7: Hotter Dads:
  74.
  75. Scouts: change, FANGLES?
  76. Pocket: Shounic
  77. Roamer: TERRYCREWS
  78. Demo: Moy
  79. Medic: Pascal
  80.
  81. Hotter Dads is a somewhat controversial team, and many will think that I’ve placed them way too high, but I believe that if they kept a relatively consistent roster for playoffs and actually try, they could do very, very well. As I understand it, their loss against Pancake-Waffle-Rifle was a fluke, but their loss against BLANC MEGAZORD does shed a lot of doubt over my interpretation of their skill.
  82.
  83. Standout players: Moy, TERRYCREWS, change
  84.
  85. 8: Coon Platoon:
  86.
  87. Scouts: Rogue, Lavableman
  88. Pocket: Kiosk
  89. Roamer: Def
  90. Demo: Cheezus
  91. Medic: ShiningStar
  92.
  93. Very solid team. All of the players on this team are just plain, good… Not much to say about them; really. They finished 4th place in open last season and Kiosk and Rogue are both extremely good players who get slept on.
  94.
  95. Standout players: rogue, kiosk
  96.
  97. 9: Space Helicopter:
  98.
  99. Scouts: mak, legitbrazilian
  100. Pocket: kohly
  101. Roamer: unskilled
  102. Demo: JaguarFiend
  103. Medic: Slicerogue
  104.
  105. The soldier combo on this team is crazy good. Kohly and Unskilled bring a lot of power to the team. Again, some might question my placement of this team, but they did take 4 rounds off of dug1 in their most recent match. On the other hand, some of the formerly IM teams such as Coon Platoon, show huge potential. Who knows.
  106.
  107. Standout players: kohly, unskilled
  108.
  109. 10: BLANC MEGAZORD:
  110.
  111. Scouts: nazara, whymeo
  112. Pocket: SpaceCadet
  113. Roamer: ???
  114. Demo: hedge
  115. Medic: Tery
  116.
  117. Originally, I planned to place this team over Hotter Dads, but after the recent loss of their soldier, tambo, who as I understand, brought a lot of power to the team, it's hard to gauge exactly where they should be. Although they did beat Hotter Dads, I don't think they will finish above them in playoffs.
  118.
  119. Standout players: hedge, SpaceCadet
  120.
  121. 11: Aubrey Plaza Fan Club:
  122.
  123. Scouts: ambroon, yerb?
  124. Pocket: megaboy
  125. Roamer: grapejuice
  126. Demo: fygg
  127. Med: phantom
  128.
  129. This is kind of an all-arounder team. After some additions to their roster were made midway through the season, Aubrey Plaza Fan Club became a serious playoff contender. Their roster is comprised of several more-experienced players and a few newer, up-and-coming players.
  130.
  131. Standout players: fygg, megaboy
  132.
  133.
  134. 12: Power Surge:
  135.
  136. Scouts: cinder, Spades
  137. Pocket: Protag
  138. Roamer: exile
  139. Demo: Shylo
  140. Medic: gollywobbler
  141.
  142. Power Surge has had a somewhat disappointing season so far, but they show huge potential, taking several rounds off of previously IM teams, and 5-0’ing low to mid open teams. Shylo has consistently played well for several seasons now, and with the recent addition of exile to the team, Power Surge is looking stronger than ever.
  143.
  144. Standout players: exile, protag, shylo
  145.
  146. 13: Free Real Estate:
  147.
  148. Scouts: midas, bwelp
  149. Pocket: GMK
  150. Roamer: tiptoes
  151. Demo: smitty
  152. Medic: charis
  153.
  154. Free Real Estate has made some roster switch ups since their loss against Colton Harris Fanclub, and took a round off of mr_popo in one of their most recent matches. This team has lots of experience and will do very well in playoffs.
  155.
  156. Standout players: smitty, midas, bwelp
  157.
  158. 14: Colton Harris Fan Club:
  159.
  160. Scouts: cukei,keith
  161. Roamer: sully
  162. Pocket: screwb
  163. Demo: frenzy
  164. Medic: zaffer
  165.
  166. The scout combo on this team is crazy good. Cukei and Keith have been the centerpiece of this team so far. The team, however, has dropped several rounds to low and mid open teams; which makes me question their skill.
  167.
  168. Standout players: cukei, keith
  169.
  170. 15: Straight Outta Hoenn:
  171.
  172. Scouts: Jamie, coffee
  173. Roamer: swablu
  174. Pocket: faust_
  175. Demo: Cobalt
  176. Medic: virgil
  177.
  178. The core of Straight Outta Hoenn has played together for several seasons now, but they've undergone some hard losses this season: losing 3-4 to Power Surge on product, 5-2 against Coon Platoon on sunshine, and 4-2 against Free Real Estate on process. Regardless, Straight Outta Hoenn has undergone huge growth throughout the season, beating crashed out 4-1 on product.
  179.
  180. Standout players: faust_, cobalt, coffee
  181.
  182. 16: crashed out:
  183.
  184. Scouts: market, air_
  185. Roamer: asura
  186. Pocket: JT
  187. Demo: reero
  188. Med: discotribble
  189.
  190. Standout players: air_, reero
  191.
  192. Many teams maintain a position of uncertainty due to their roster changes. Crashed out is one of those teams. As I understand it, they've had some problems with tilting. These problems were originating from their scout, cat, whom they've recently cut from their team. However, they do have former IM player, air, on demoman, who has put out crazy damage numbers throughout the season. I toyed with the idea of placing this team higher, but if they can't fix the tilting problems they've had in the past, they don't have a chance.

  196. Honorable Mentions:
  197.
  198. Okiewaka in a Skrt:
  199.
  200. Scouts: trizza, oppebo
  201. Roamer: SOOOOOAP
  202. Pocket: Crypt
  203. Demo: klm
  204. Med: be
  205.
  206. Recent pickups have made this team much, much better, taking on trizza as scout, crypt as pocket, and highly controversial player, be, as med. Be claimed in his most recent LFT thread that he has “calmed tf down” and doesn't “act like a child anymore.” If be truly has changed and the team can adjust to their new pickups, Okiewaka in a Skrt will be a force to reckoned with come playoffs.
  207.
  208. Standout players: trizza, crypt, klm
  209.
  210.
  211. DISCLAIMER: didn't include my team
  212. OTHER DISCLAIMER: I'm just another shitty open player. Take everything I said with a grain of salt.
