  1. This is a fairy tale read by a mom to her daughter.
  2.
  3. There was a young human man named Leopold (still human). He was born in a swordsman family. He couldn't meet his father's expectation no matter how hard he tried to be strong. Medina was a legendary mage that could grant any wish (supposedly). So he went everywhere to look for Medina.
  4.
  5. He finally found Medina in a dark forest. However Medina was busy and found him annoying. Thus she turned him into a toad. Toad Leopold was run into by Mim. Mim was looking for Tim who went missing. Tim was said to be a mischievous fairy who always looked for trouble (Mim and Tim were exactly like Porom and Palom). Leopold, being a kind-hearted man who always had the well-being of others in mind, offered to help.
  6.
  7. Toad Leopold and Mim found a Water Spirit, she said that she sunk Tim into the lake for being annoying (while letting him breathe). Leopold, being a toad, saved Tim. Grateful to Leopold, Mim and Tim brought Leopold to their queen Elfim.
  8.
  9. Elfim was an old acquaintance of Medina and offered to help. Then Elfim and toad Leopold set off to find Medina to return Leopold into human. In Medina's place they found her apprentice, Magna instead. Magna pretended to return Leopold into human, but changed him into a lion instead.
  10.
  11. Elfim got angry because Magna lied. But Magna didn't know how to reverse the magic. Medina showed up and said the magic can only be reversed by the caster, but the way to reverse is lost, that's why the spell is forbidden (making Magna want to try it). Then Magna and lion Leopold set off to find a way to reverse the magic.
  12.
  13. Magna was a very self-centered person who only thought about himself and looked down on others, exact opposite of Leopold. Leopold once told Magna that he may need to rely on others in future so he should not be that mean.
  14.
  15. They eventually reached a forest where they met a lone elf Forelske. Forelske said all living things could be eaten and wondered how tasty would a lion that can speak be. Leopold and Magna thought Forelske wanted to eat them and ran away.
  16. Eventually Leopold and Magna got too tired from running and fought Forelske but lost. Leopold, wanting to save Magna, offered himself to Forelske. Magna rushed to save him, but to find Leopold enjoying meal in Forelske's house. Then they found out Forelske just wanted to try a dish that may be able to reverse Leopold's magic but failed.
  17.
  18. Magna discovered that with Forelske's dishes and his magic he may reverse Leopold's magic. He sulked that he realized what Leopold said about relying on others was true. They tried to gather the ingredients to reverse the magic, but Magna failed because of his lack of magic power. Leopold said he could wait until Magna became a really powerful mage like Medina.
  19.
  20. Then, Elfim stepped in and thought that Magna broke his promise again. Magna fought Elfim and lost. Leopold rushed out to protect Magna and realized he became stronger. But they still lost against Elfim. Medina arrived and fought Elfim, telling them good job for enraging Elfim since she always wanted to fight Elfim again since she lost last time.
  21.
  22. Medina and Elfim fought for 3 days and 3 nights without conclusion. Then they eventually sorted everything out. Leopold was happy that he did get stronger with Magna's magic, making his wish come true. Lion Leopold returned to his hometown.
  23.
  24. Although people feared and distrusted him at first, his good heart won out in the end. Magna dropped by sometimes to try his magic (and failed). Elfim and Medina also dropped by sometimes. Medina was always busy researching or training Magna. Elfim enjoyed spending time with humans in Leopold's hometown that she loved very much but never had chance to interact with.
