Discussions Story Copy

My coworker is really strange. He never argued, never yelled at anyone, always kept calm and collected. But that's not what's weird about him.

He never told us his real name, only saying that we should call him Rev. He was always cold, and not in a personality way, but actually physically cold, and it never bothered him. He never ate, never took breaks, and it seemed like he never slept. He also didn't have a smell (I know that it's weird, smelling my coworker, but we were walking somewhere and I didn't notice that he stopped and I bumped into him!). Other than that, he was an amazing person, always helping people. He would always make sure that people were doing good mentally and physically. He made people WANT to go to work, just to see him.

But a few days ago, our coworker Sara didn't come to work, which is strange because she always shows up early, with food for everyone. What was stranger is that Rev was acting a little different, he felt warmer by just the smallest bit, and he was eating something that looked like a small piece of an amazing steak. When I asked him what it was, he got a bit nervous, saying that it was just something that his friends gave him. Later that day, everyone in the room was absolutely shocked and horrified by what the news was showing us.

On the TV, there was the sheriff. He was looking quite nervous and a bit disturbed. He quickly said that someone was found brutally killed in their home, the body defaced, and nothing stolen. He quickly walked off stage, and a projector cast pictures onto what he was standing in front of.

What I saw there, I can never forget.

On the screen, it showed a picture of a body laying on the floor of its living room. A giant, gaping hole was carved into their chest, and the heart was missing, replaced by a metal sphere, marked with the number 1

The face was blacked out, but everyone could tell that it was Sarah. Everyone was crying and yelling and throwing up. Everyone except Rev, who was watching the TV with an uninterested and unpassionate expression.

This is when I realized that something was extremely off with him.
