  1. >You are Haakim.
  2. >Crown Prince of the Saddle Arabian Empire.
  3. >…
  4. >You are in the diplomatic wing of Canterlot Castle, laying upon your bedding.
  5. >While it is wonderfully comfortable, it’s difficult to find yourself truly at ease.
  6. >Being in Canterlot again, after the beginning of the Long Night…
  7. >You have so many questions.
  8. >Where is Celestia?
  9. >Where did this /Empress/ Nightmare Moon come from?
  10. >Celestia has ruled her Princessipality for centuries, long before your family’s reign began.
  11. >For her to be gone…
  12. >It’s unsettling.
  13. >While you did have dinner with Nightmare Moon this evening following your arrival, it has done little to calm your nerves.
  14. >She refused to speak about Equestria’s affairs, or official business until the formal meetings tomorrow.
  15. >She even refused to discuss herself, saying it would be /improper/ for the hostess to be the center of attention during your first visit.
  16. >While her tone was inviting, and appeared sincere, you can’t help but feel as if there was a much more sinister overtone to her words.
  17. >You aren’t sure what about it was off: perhaps it was her toothy smile, or her draconic eyes… but /something/ felt off.
  18. >Then, to see her /Champion/ simply observing you…
  19. >A kind of creature that you’ve never seen before…
  20. >The thought of his cold gaze sent shivers down your spine.
  21. >It was unnerving.
  22. ---------------
  23. >Instead, she focused the talks on your own nation, and it’s affairs over the last few centuries.
  24. >It was a truly strange conversation.
  25. >She seemed more familiar with your land’s ancient past then its recent history.
  26. >The rise and fall of the Purrsian Empire…
  27. >The Saddle Belt drought years…
  28. >It was so strange.
  29. >Like she saw it first hoof…
  30. >Yet certainly that couldn’t be true; no pony beside Celestia has lived that long…
  31. >…
  32. >Unfortunately, those were the least of your concerns.
  33. >Equestria has been Saddle Arabia’s greatest ally and trade partner for as long as you can remember.
  34. >Now, you’re uncertain about your nation’s relationship.
  35. >After the Night began, all diplomatic channels with the Equestrian government abruptly ended.
  36. >After the first day without a sun, you sent diplomats to the boarder.
  37. >They were turned away by the Equestrian military, who had sealed passage to their lands.
  38. ---------------
  39.
  40. >Your diplomats were immediately expelled, and returned without news.
  41. >Even the ponies in the Equestrian Embassy knew nothing of the events, and had not received word from Canterlot in weeks.
  42. >For the some time, all was quite, and only whispers of news came from Equestria.
  43. >Most of your time was taken by the task of controlling the confusion and panic that followed the Sun’s setting.
  44. >You remember meeting with other bordering lands in emergency sessions.
  45. >No one knew what had happened to Celestia.
  46. >Rumors that the Changeling’s leader visited the lands during that time spread, although no one could verify it, let alone know what transpired during those meetings.
  47. >Then, one day, seemingly without warning, you received a Diplomatic invitation.
  48. >The letter was brief, only informing you to arrive at the boarder for direct Escort to Canterlot for a meeting.
  49. >When you saw the seal, and read the signature, fear struck your heart.
  50. >/Empress Nightmare Moon/…
  51. ---------------
  52.
  53. >Taking a sip of your Coffee, you snap from your thoughts.
  54. >Looking down at the scrolls before you, you continue you read.
  55. >With such a little warning, your advisors only had a few hours to compose your documents for this journey.
  56. >Now, on the eve before your first diplomatic meeting, is the first chance you’ve had to truly read their briefings.
  57. >You feel uneasy about it.
  58. >This… certainly isn’t the best situation to conduct your first meeting.
  59. >The list of questions and concerns they wish for you to raise is lengthly and complex.
  60. >Trade Taxes.
  61. >Military Support.
  62. >Weather Control.
  63. >Border Restrictions.
  64. >Perhaps most importantly, are the three most simple questions.
  65. >Who is Nightmare Moon?
  66. >Where is Celestia?
  67. >What happened to the Sun?
  68. >An entire bag of scrolls lays beside your bed, waiting to be read.
  69. >Looking at the clock, you realize that it’s only seven thirty in the evening.
  70. >It feels /much/ later.
  71. >Before you can continue reading, you hear a knock at the door.
  72. >Your ears perk up quickly in response.
  73. >Who could that be?
  74. >You were not informed of any visitors to this wing of the Palace.
  75. >Perhaps your guards wished to speak with you.
  76. ---------------
  77.
  78. “You may come in.”
  79. >The door handle turns, before gently sliding open.
  80. >Your eyes look up as you see the pony walk into the room.
  81. “Princess Mi Amore Cadenza!”
  82. >You smile at the sight.
  83. >"Prince Haakim!"
  84. >She returns a smile, before closing the door behind her.
  85. “It’s been so long Cadence, how have you been?
  86. >She softly giggles as she approaches.
  87. >”I’ve been well, how about you?
  88. >Rolling up the scroll before you, you slide it back into the bag on the ground.
  89. “I’ve been better.”
  90. >A soft chuckle mask the sincerity behind your words.
  91. >She comes before you, and places her hoof onto your withers, pulling you close into a hug, before Making her way onto the other side of the bed, laying down some distance from you.
  92. >It’s been a few years since you’ve seen Cadence now.
  93. >You’ve been so worried about Celestia, that Cadence has entirely slipped your mind.
  94. >”So I’ve heard that you’ve taken the Crown of Saddle Arabia! Looks like you’ve finally decided to live up to your title!”
  95. >Her words are filled with gentle humor, something that has always been Cadence’s habit.
  96. ---------------
  97.
  98. >For Royalty, she was surprisingly relaxed and carefree - something you’ve always appreciated about the mare.
  99. >You nod.
  100. “I have, although I can’t say I’m particularly excited about doing so this soon…”
  101. >Her smile quickly fades away.
  102. >”Oh… I forgot, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…”
  103. >You hold a hoof up, and shake your head.
  104. ”It’s fine Cadence. It’s some time now...”
  105. >She nods again, before speaking in a slightly more reserved tone, likely trying to avoid upsetting you.
  106. >”Well… I’ve heard that you’ve gotten a mare for yourself; is that true?”
  107. >You nod.
  108. “You’ve heard right…”
  109. >She smiles widely at the news.
  110. >”Who is it? Have I met her?”
  111. “Amira, Princess Amira…”
  112. “My father arranged our marriage before he became severely ill, so I only met her a few times before we married…”
  113. >You notice her smile falter for a moment.
  114. >”You /do/ love her, right?”
  115. >You nod.
  116. ---------------
  117.
  118. “She’s a very nice mare, although I must admit, it’s been a challenge to enter the union so quickly…”
  119. >While true, that’s not the only reason.
  120. >In fact, the other in sitting beside you as you speak.
  121. >Seeing Cadence…
  122. >Telling her you’re a married stallion…
  123. >To say it’s difficult is an understatement.
  124. >She pours herself a small cup of coffee from the table beside you.
  125. >”Do you know why your father wanted you to get married so soon? It just seems… unexpected…”
  126. >All you can do is shrug.
  127. “I’m not sure myself, although I sometimes wonder if he knew it was his time, and wanted to see ensure my future before he passed…”
  128. >Your mind wanders to the mare before you.
  129. >She’s so graceful...
  130. >She nods gently, while pouring a small amount of sugar into her coffee.
  131. >You take a sip of your own drink, and attempt to refocus yourself before speaking.
  132. “What has happened to Equestria recently? I’ve never seen anything like this before…”
  133. >You visibly notice Cadence grow tense momentarily.
  134. >She lowers the coffee cup from her lips, before turning around, and looking at the window.
  135. >Using her magic, she closes the blinds, before turning to face you.
  136. >You can’t help but grow nervous at the display.
  137. >Like she’s trying to hide from someone.
  138. ---------------
  139.
  140. >”Haakim… I…”
  141. “Cadence, is something wrong?”
  142. >Your voice sounds more excited than you would have liked, but in the moment, you couldn’t help it.
  143. >”I- I don’t know what’s happened…
  144. >”I don’t know where Celestia is… Nightmare Moon just showed up one day… and now she’s gone…”
  145. >Your stomach twist.
  146. “Gone? What do you mean /gone?/ Did she go somewhere?”
  147. >Cadence is noticeably growing more upset, as her voice gets slightly more shakey.”
  148. >She shakes her head.
  149. >”No, I would have noticed is she left the Castle, but she didn’t /go/ anywhere. I just… I don’t know…”
  150. >You notice that she’s coming dangerously close to crying.
  151. >Instinctively, you inch your way toward the mare, placing a hoof onto her withers.
  152. “It’s ok Cadence, it’s all right…”
  153. >Comforting the mare, you gently pat her fur for a few moments.
  154. >Although you’d desperately like to continue this line of questioning, it’s becoming apparent that she doesn’t want to talk about Celestia.
  155. >That, in turn, only makes you more nervous.
  156. >Who is this new Empress?
  157. >Did Nightmare Moon do something with Celestia?
  158. >…
  159. >Did she kill her?
  160. >…
  161. >As crazy as it seems, it’s always been in the back of your mind.
  162. >Now, with Cadence’s story…
  163. >You struggle to comprehend what this could mean for Equestria.
  164. >What this could mean for Saddle Arabia.
  165. ---------------
  166.
  167. >Just as quickly, you think of Cadence, and the clear stress she’s under.
  168. >Attempting to shift the conversation, you speak.
  169. “Let’s talk about something else Cadence, ok?”
  170. >She nods, and sniffles briefly.
  171. >”Ye-yeah…”
  172. >She takes a few moments to compose herself, and take a drink of her coffee.
  173. >It gives you time to think.
  174. >How long has it been since you’ve actually /talked/ with Cadence?
  175. >It’s been years since you were both foals together, and beyond the occasional, all too diplomatic birthday and coronation anniversaries, you haven’t written each other.
  176. >You’ve just been so busy, you can’t help but wonder how much she’s changed in your absence.
  177. >How much you’ve changed...
  178. >”Why didn’t your mare friend here? Aren’t you together?”
  179. >The question snaps you from your thoughts, and places you at an awkward crossroads.
  180. >Amira stayed in Saddle Arabia at your request, for her own safety.
  181. >You weren’t sure what Equestia would be like, so you though it’d be best to travel alone.
  182. >But saying that certainly wouldn’t help the situation, so instead, you tell a half-truth.
  183. >Taking a small breathe you reply.
  184. ”My wife stayed in Saddle Arabia.”
  185. “I thought it’d be best if I came alone for this first visit, seeing as she’s never travelled abroad before…”
  186. >Her reply is brief.
  187. >”Oh…”
  188. ---------------
  189.
  190. >You remove your hoof from her withers, before speaking.
  191. ”Enough about me Cadence…"
  192. >Your pause.
  193. >Exactly how much has changed?
  194. >After a moment of painful hesitation, you ask /the/ question.
  195. “Have you found yourself a colt?”
  196. >Trying not to sound particularly intruding, you add an admittedly forced joke at the end.
  197. “A mare like you should have no trouble finding herself a stallion…”
  198. >Seemingly ignorant of your inner dialogue, she replies.
  199. >”Shining Amor.”
  200. >Your heart sinks.
  201. >"He’s been at the Royal Guard Academy in Canterlot for the last few weeks, so I haven’t gotten a chance to seem him much recently.”
  202. >It takes you a moment to digest this news.
  203. >But why should it?
  204. >You’re a /married/ stallion!
  205. >You shouldn’t feel like this!
  206. >You force a reply.
  207. ”A guardspony? I didn’t think you’d be a military mare Cadence, what changed?”
  208. >She flashes a reserved smile.
  209. >”I don’t know exactly, it’s just… he’s a really nice pony…”
  210. >”He’s not royalty or anything like that - he’s just a good, honest stallion…”
  211. >You smile, and force a lie from your lips.
  212. >”That’s wonderful Cadence, I’m happy to hear that…”
  213. >The thought of Cadence having a colt friend… bothers you.
  214. ---------------
  215. >Cadence has always been an attractive mare to say the least.
  216. >After spending much of your foalhood in Canterlot, either during visits with your father, schooling, or summer reprieves, you’ve grown close to the mare.
  217. >When you and Cadence were the same age, the two of you would always run around the Castle together, and cause all sorts of mischief.
  218. >Making chalk drawings on the Castle Walls….
  219. >Going swimming in the fountains…
  220. >Raiding the Royal Kitchens…
  221. >As the years past, and you both matured, you began to think of her in a different way.
  222. >You first noticed just how pretty her mane was…
  223. >How soft her fur felt…
  224. >Then, your father fell ill.
  225. >You were forced to return Saddle Arabia.
  226. >Before you knew it, you were married.
  227. >And she now, has a colt friend…
  228. ---------------
  229.
  230. >”I’m… I’m scared Haakim…”
  231. >Her eyes begin to water noticeably, and she leans her head on your shoulder.
  232. ”Cadence?”
  233. >”Ever since this whole thing started I haven’t gotten a letter from him… I’m worried…”
  234. >You try to comfort her.
  235. “He’s in training Cadence, I don’t think they let-“
  236. >”The Entire Royal Guard disappeared Haakim!”
  237. >You fall silent, stunned at the news.
  238. >”When this started, all the guards in the palace disappeared! I… I’m not sure if…”
  239. >The dam breaks, and she begins to cry.
  240. >”Oh Haakim… I… what if he’s gone!…”
  241. >Her head falls onto your shoulder, and she tears begin to sink into your coat.
  242. >”I… I can’t… I- I just can’t…”
  243. >You nuzzle her gently, trying to comfort her.
  244. “It’s ok Cadence, I’m sure everything’s fine…”
  245. >Your words sound insincere; forced.
  246. >They are.
  247. >If what she told you is correct, then you honestly aren’t sure if he’s ok.
  248. >All of these ponies, just disappearing…
  249. >Even Celestia, the most powerful pony in Equestria- just /vanished/…
  250. >What has Nightmare Moon done to all of them?
  251. >Who /is/ she?
  252. ---------------
  253. >Your thoughts are interrupted by a small touch on your neck.
  254. >A kiss.
  255. >Instantly, you react, drawing your body away from the touch.
  256. “Cadence?”
  257. >She opens her now tear soaked yes, and recoils.
  258. >Almost stunned herself, she struggles to reply.
  259. >”I… I….”
  260. >” I’m sorry Haakim, I don’t know what came over me… I…”
  261. “It’s ok Cadence… I just… wasn’t expecting that…”
  262. >She shakes her head, as she begins to cry yet again.
  263. >”No! It’s not ok! You’re a married stallion! I- have a colt friend! I shouldn’t have done that!”
  264. >Letting her neck relax, she buries her head under her hooves.
  265. >”I’m just so scared Haakim… I- I don’t know what’s going to happen to me…”
  266. >Fear fills your heart.
  267. “What do you mean Cadence? Has- has Nightmare Moon threatened you?!?
  268. >You struggle to keep your voice low, so as not to be heard outside.
  269. >But if this is true…
  270. >”Don’t you see? I’m the only royalty left in Equestria!”
  271. >”I’m the only other alicorn left!”
  272. >Her wings frantically begin to twitch.
  273. >"What if- oh Celestia, what if she kills me?”
  274. “No!”
  275. >You shout, too frantic to silence yourself.
  276. ”I’m not going to let that happen!”
  277. >Quickly, you try to think of a way, /any/ way you can make that statement true.
  278. “You can come back to Saddle Arabia with me! After these meetings-“
  279. >”Do you think she’d let that happen!? She won’t even let me leave the palace!”
  280. >She chokes over her words.
  281. >”I’m… I’m going to die Haakim… She’s- she’s going to kill me…”
  282. ---------------
  283.
  284. >You shake your head.
  285. “No- Cadence that’s not true…”
  286. >You nuzzle her gently, and giver her a few minutes to calm down.
  287. >Somehow, she manages to end the flow of tears, her eyes now red and bloodshot.
  288. >”It’s- it’s funny… I always remember wanting to be the Princess of Saddle Arabia when I was a filly…”
  289. >You tilt your head in confusion.
  290. >She looks at you, and again places her head onto your shoulder, nuzzling it slightly.
  291. >”I… I always thought you were such a gentlecolt , but I was too nervous to ask…”
  292. >”Then your father got sick, and you left…”
  293. >She kisses your shoulder softly, before nuzzling it again.
  294. >You feel her tail weakly flick against your own.
  295. >”Where did the years go Haakim?… Things should have been different…”
  296. >Slowly, her soft kisses begin to trail up your neck.
  297. >Your mind begins to race.
  298. >This… this can’t be happening.
  299. >This /isn’t/ happening.
  300. “Cadence… I have a wife…”
  301. >It’s all you can say.
  302. >It’s all your body will /let/ you say.
  303. >You’ve thought about Cadence for so many years…
  304. >Amira doesn’t even cross your mind.
  305. >Her kisses stop just beneath your ear, as her lips force it to twitch in response.
  306. >”Please Haakim… be my Prince - just for tonight, let /me/ be your Princess…”
  307. >She nuzzles your snout, and prompts you to turn your head, revealing her tail, which stands fulling erect behind her.
  308. >Rotating your head, you make eye contact once again.
  309. >”Please…”
  310. ---------------
  311. >Your mind blanks, and the immense, almost overwhelming smell of her desire fills your nose.
  312. >You… you need it.
  313. >Instinctively, you raise your body slightly, and move over on top of Cadence, mounting her tender form.
  314. >Your stallionhood, quickly begins to fill with vigor, as your body settles onto Cadence, forcing air from her body in a low, soft moan.
  315. >All too excited, you begin to grind against her back, humping her body as you bide time for your length to fully harden.
  316. >”Ha-Haakim… please… I want this so bad…”
  317. >Your mind is filled with images and emotions.
  318. >You’re- you’re finally going to have Cadence… after so long… after so many fantasies…
  319. >But Amira…
  320. >Stretching her neck upwards, she manages to places a kiss onto the bottom of your chin, which prompts you to look downward, and return the gesture.
  321. >You begin the feel the temperature of your body rise, as an almost physical heat radiates from your stallionhood.
  322. >You- you don’t care about Amira right now.
  323. >You have Cadence, the mare of your colthood fantasies, underneath you, /begging/ for you to rut her.
  324. >After a few more long, painfully dry thrust against her back, you’re finally ready.
  325. >Lifting yourself, you position stallion hood at her entrance.
  326. “Cadence…”
  327. >”Haakim…”
  328. ---------------
  329.
  330. >She kisses your neck a few times again, before lowering her head onto the bed, planting her snout against the bedding.
  331. >”I want to to be your mare…”
  332. >With pure, masculine force, you thrust yourself into the mare.
  333. >Just as quickly, you feel something break.
  334. >She squeals, causing you to stop.
  335. >Was she-
  336. “Cadence- are- are you-“
  337. >”She nods her head quickly, her eyes forced shut in pain.
  338. >”I- I wanted my first time to be with you Haakim… I’m sorry…”
  339. >You body struggles against your mind, telling you to keep going- to ravenge her body.
  340. >But clearly, the mare before you can’t take that.
  341. >Deciding to reach an internal compromise, you continue your gentle thrust, while nuzzling her neck.
  342. >She squeals weakly each time you hilt yourself, as she tries to maintain her composure.
  343. >”I- I want this Haakim… don’t- please don’t stop…”
  344. >Planting a kiss behind her ear, you continue, with increasing impatience.
  345. >”Do- do whatever you want to me, please, just love me- just for tonight…"
  346. >Those simple words set you free.
  347. >/Do whatever you want./
  348. ---------------
  349.
  350. >Immediately, you reach down, and bite her mane, before pulling it back.
  351. >With all of the energy you can muster, you take one, deep, strong thrust into the mare.
  352. >She screams in response, and jumps up toward your chest.
  353. >You don’t stop.
  354. >Each time you penetrate the mare, she makes some tempting, arousing noise.
  355. >A moan - a cry - a grunt.
  356. >Her hips fit perfectly underneath you own, and each thrust you can feel her now sweat soaked fur brush against you stomach.
  357. >You /need/ her.
  358. >Her marehood wraps perfectly around your length, providing pure ecstasy as reward for your efforts.
  359. >”H-h-haakim…”
  360. >She stutters as she speaks, her words broken by your force.
  361. >”P-Please- Inside-… please….”
  362. >All you can manage to do is grunt in reply.
  363. >While the thought of Amira briefly crosses your mind, your lust quickly dispels it.
  364. >You’re the Prince of Saddle Arabia…
  365. >But she’s an /Equestrian/ Princess…
  366. >You’ve thought about her since you were a colt…
  367. >/She’s/ the mare you want to bear your foal, not Amira…
  368. >”I… I won’t tell anyone… please… I just- AHH… to remember you…”
  369. “I - I’m going to - inside….”
  370. >You feel yourself getting close.
  371. >Each thrust brings you closer to your edge.
  372. >Her marehood is practically sucking you in, it’s lips clamping onto your stallionhood, hoping to lure your seed.
  373. >It does.
  374. >With one final, deep thrust, you push yourself deep into her womb, and pump her full of your essence.
  375. >She screams, and her wings flare wide, as you can /feel/ her body milking you for your worth.
  376. ---------------
  377.
  378. >Finished, you collapse, your stallionhood still planted deep in her body, ensuring the deed has been done.
  379. >Both you and Cadence struggle to regain your breathes.
  380. >You lay gentle kisses upon her neck, up the ridge of her mane.
  381. >Her wings lay spread and deflated on either side of your body, preventing you from dismounting safely.
  382. >A problem that you’ve never fully considered before.
  383. >As you finally gain the energy to speak, you open your mouth.
  384. >”Cadence, could you-“
  385. >”Haakim.”
  386. >The tone in her voice is much more firm than your own, causing you to pause.
  387. >”Tomorrow- at the meeting, don’t mention what happened tonight. ”
  388. >”I… I want this to be special between us… I don’t want this to be used by- by /her/… ok?"
  389. >You think for a moment, before responding.
  390. ---------------
  391.
  392. “Sure…”
  393. >”Promise me.”
  394. >She’s firm in her reply.
  395. >”Promise me you won’t try to save me. Promise me you won’t do anything stupid tomorrow…”
  396. >That forces a much longer, more thoughtful delay.
  397. “Cadence, I’m not just going to let her keep you-“
  398. >”She controls Equestria Haakim!”
  399. >”She controls the most powerful nation in this realm! You- you can’t negotiate with her!”
  400. “Cadence, I can’t just leave you here! I have ponies I need to protect.”
  401. >”Then protect them! Just… just don’t- don’t make her angry…”
  402. >”She’s… she’s not the type of pony you want to anger…”
  403. >As much as you hate to admit it, she has a point.
  404. >While Saddle Arabia is certainly a regional power, it’s simply not capable of contesting Equestria.
  405. >From what little time you’ve spent around Nightmare Moon, she doesn’t seem to be nearly as forgivingas Celestia.
  406. >”Please Haakim… give her whatever she wants- just don’t do anything foolish… don’t try to save Equestria…”
  407. >She nuzzles you.
  408. >”Promise me…”
  409. >You take a breath.
  410. >You’re going to leave Cadence here; trapped in this Castle…
  411. >Everything about it seems wrong.
  412. >But there’re no other options.
  413. “I- I promise.”
  414. >She folds her wings in, allowing you to slowly withdraw from her marehood, and dismount.
  415. >”Thank you...”
  416. ---------------
  417. >You are Anonymous.
  418. >You find yourself outside of the Diplomatic chambers of /Crown Prince Haakim/ from Saddle Arabia.
  419. >You’re leaning against a wall, running your fingers casually through Nightmare’s mane.
  420. >As much as you hate to admit it, her -hair? - is extremely entertaining to play with.
  421. “Exactly how long is this supposed to take again?”
  422. >She snorts softly.
  423. >”Be patient Troll, you shall see the fruits of our plan soon enough.”
  424. >On queue, the door to the Diplomat’s chambers swing open, revealing a pony who looks exactly like Cadence.
  425. >Quietly, door closes behind her, and she slowly walks the short distance toward Nightmare Moon.
  426. >Deciding it’s best not to appear lazy, push yourself off of the wall, and take a position standing beside Nightmare Moon.
  427. >”Have you performed the deed Dung Beetle?”
  428. >A burst of green flames covers the creature’s body, and where once stood a copy of Princess Cadence, now stands Chrysalis.
  429. >”Of course… your Majesty…”
  430. >Not satisfied, Nightmare Moon speaks.
  431. >”Turn around, we wish to see evidence of your actions.”
  432. >Lowering her head, Chrysalis slowly turns around, and raises her tail.
  433. >Semen from the stallion slowly drips onto the ground, and crust her already filthy tail.
  434. >Nightmare Moon laughs, and puffs out her chest, before turning to you.
  435. >”You see Troll? We have turned the proud /Queen/ of the Changelings into a cheap- neigh- a /free/ whorse!”
  436. ---------------
  437.
  438. >You cringe.
  439. >How can Haakim not here that laugh?
  440. >It’s so loud!"
  441. >You shrug, and concede that you’ll never understand the magic that Nightmare Moon has at her disposal.
  442. "I guess it’s fitting. Her entire species practically /lives/ off of prostitution after all."
  443. >Chrysalis quickly lowers her tail, and turns around to face you.
  444. >Nightmare Moon laughs even louder at your joke.
  445. >”Tis true! Her entire breed is nothing more than cheap relief for low blood stallions!”
  446. >”You said I could see my one of hive…”
  447. >Chrysalis, kill joy she is, interrupts.
  448. >”You said I could see one of my Changelings if I did… that…”
  449. >Nightmare Moon smiles softly, before nodding.
  450. >”Indeed we need.”
  451. >Turning slightly, she gestures with her head, instructing the Night Guard at the end of the hallway to advance.
  452. >After a few moments, he nears, and stands between yourself and Nightmare Moon.
  453. >”You may reveal yourself Dark Room.”
  454. >Without moving, the Changeling drops his guard facade.
  455. >Instantly, Chrysalis reacts, and becomes noticeably more energetic, her /wings/ fluttering ever so slightly.
  456. >”Dark Room! Your Queen is pleased to see-“
  457. >Without warning, Chrysalis collapses onto the ground, forced by Nightmare Moon’s magic.
  458. ---------------
  459.
  460. >”Do not use such improper titles /Beetle/ address yourself properly before your swarm and Empress.”
  461. >With her eyes forced shut, and tears beginning to form, Chrysalis once again, attempts to speak.
  462. >”Dark Room… your… Dung Beetle… is pleased to see you….”
  463. >While it’s readily apparent that she’s ashamed of the title, you can tell she’s willing to use it, if it means speaking with her swarm.
  464. >It’s an oddly noble gesture for the once boisterous, rude pony.
  465. >”The hive is being well taken care of my Dung Beetle.”
  466. >Chrysalis cringes at the words, but attempts to continue.
  467. >You smile.
  468. >It always surprised you just how mindless obedient some changelings could be.
  469. >While Dark Room certainly wasn’t your average drone, he didn’t even take pause at calling his former Queen a Dung Beetle.
  470. >Looking down once again, you notice Chrysalis' nostrils flair a few times, perhaps trying to sniff something.
  471. >”I… thank you… Empress… ”
  472. >Nightmare Moon interrupts.
  473. >”We are a mare of our word little Beetle, you would do well to remember that.
  474. >Chrysalis, visibly defeated, speaks.
  475. >”Yes your Majesty.”
  476. >Satisfied, Nightmare Moon nods.
  477. >”Very Well Dark Room, you may return to your position- we shall summon you again once we require your assistance.”
  478. >With hesitation, the creature pivots, and walks down the hallway.
  479. >Chrysalis’ eyes sadden at as she watches her kin walk away from her.'
  480. >As Dark Room finally rounds the corner, Nightmare Moon speaks.
  481. >”Clean up after yourself Beetle, do not sully our floors with your filth."
  482. >She points toward the semen which has leaked from Chrysalis’ used body.
  483. >With depressing slowness, she pony licks the cold stone with her tongue, wiping clean any evidence of her mess.
  484. ---------------
  485.
  486. >One completed, she slowly rights herself, and stands once again.
  487. >You can’t help but notice that, even free from her bondage, she doesn’t dare stand fully erect.
  488. >Instead, her head hangs slightly below Nightmare’s, a clear sign of submission.
  489. >You must admit, seeing Nightmare’s work on Chrysalis progress has been interesting.
  490. >While you certainly questioned her methods on a number of occasions, the result standing before you speaks for itself.
  491. >”We trust you know what is due?”
  492. >Slowly, Chrysalis nods.
  493. >Both of their horns glow softly for a moment, before falling dark once again.
  494. >Apparently satisfied, Nightmare Moon nods.
  495. >”You’ve done well Chrysalis, I shall ensure your swarm is safe within our lands.”
  496. >For a brief moment, the bug makes eye contact with both you and Nightmare Moon, clearly attempting to verify your promise as best she can.
  497. >Her wings twitch, and she opens her mouth slightly.
  498. >”Thank you, my Empress…”
  499. >Nightmare Moon narrows her eyes.
  500. >”We expect your first brood for the Crown to be satisfactory; do /not/ fail us.
  501. >In an instant, her body is covered in a dark, starry mist.
  502. >Then- she’s gone.
