Carmen has fun at the circus

[13:32] <ATtheorytime[DM]> the circus appears mostly the same as when you left it
[13:33]  * Carmen_Chapman looks around for the juggling act again
[13:34] <ATtheorytime[DM]> Roll perception

[13:41] <ATtheorytime[DM]> You manage to spot the stand where you firs found the lizards. Luckily, they're still there setting up for their next performance
[13:44] <Carmen_Chapman> You casually walk over and find the lizard peep who was so awesome to lend you the club thing
[13:44] <ATtheorytime[DM]> Said lizard peep is currently setting up a tightrope
[13:45]  * Carmen_Chapman walks over and taps said lizard on the shoulder
[13:45] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The lizard turns to you and smiles
[13:45]  * Carmen_Chapman waves
[13:45]  * Carmen_Chapman decaptchalogues the club and holds it behind her back, letting it poke out a bit
[13:46]  * Carmen_Chapman nods her head in the direction of the club, wiggling it slightly
[13:46] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The lizard gestures a questioning shrug to you, then outlines the shape of a pin with its hands
[13:47]  * Carmen_Chapman quickly brings out the club from behind her back, holding it out to the lizard
[13:48] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The lizard claps excitedly and gladly accepts the pin from you
[13:50]  * Carmen_Chapman gives a thumbs up
[13:50] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The lizard returns your thumbs up
[13:51]  * Carmen_Chapman points at the show setup and then at her wrist like a watch, shrugging, wondering when the show will start
[13:52] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The lizard holds up three fingers on one hand, and makes a 0 with the other
[13:54]  * Carmen_Chapman smiles, giving a thumbs up, before heading back into the circus tent
[13:55] <ATtheorytime[DM]> ==>
[13:57]  * Carmen_Chapman looks around for something interesting to eat
[13:58] <ATtheorytime[DM]> There are plenty of things which look interesting, to say the least
[13:58] <ATtheorytime[DM]> Looking for anything in particular?
[13:59]  * Carmen_Chapman thinks, looking around at the food stalls
[13:59]  * Carmen_Chapman decides she wants something hearty, something that will actually fill her up. Those fruity sort of candy things were good but she's still really hungry!
[14:00] <ATtheorytime[DM]> There are big hunks of roasting meat over steaks in a big green stall, how about those?
[14:01] <Carmen_Chapman> :OOOOOO
[14:01]  * Carmen_Chapman dashes over and gets in line to get one
[14:03] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The line is short, and soon you're at the front
[14:04]  * Carmen_Chapman points at one of the bigger chunks of meat
[14:04] <ATtheorytime[DM]> A lizard takes the meat off the stake and slides it onto a plate where another lizard wraps the bottom in a set of napkins before handing it to you
[14:06]  * Carmen_Chapman takes the meat, grinning widely before walking off and sinking her set of pointy teeth directly into it
[14:07] <ATtheorytime[DM]> It's a very delicious cut pf meat, tasting not unlike beef, and tastes smoky from the wooden fires it was cooked with
[14:08]  * Carmen_Chapman pauses for a brief moment, confused by what meat this actually is
[14:08]  * Carmen_Chapman ignores it and just keeps eating!
[14:08]  * Carmen_Chapman walks around to find the most exciting show she can watch while eating
[14:10] <ATtheorytime[DM]> After a while of looking you find a what appears to be a lizard, woodcarving, Bob Ross
[14:11] <Carmen_Chapman> :DDDDDDD
[14:11] <Carmen_Chapman> THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT OMG ITS SO PERFECT
[14:11]  * Carmen_Chapman wishes she could wood carve that well
[14:12]  * Carmen_Chapman sits down to watch while she devours the mystery meat
[14:13] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The lizard is carving a landscape of a wooded lake into a large wooden log, explaining something about how there are no accidents, only happy mistakes
[14:14]  * Carmen_Chapman DECIDES THIS LIZARD IS HER HERO
[14:14] <Carmen_Chapman> Someone who loves nature? Who makes art of it? WHO CARVES WOOD??? This is like everything you tried to do with your wood carving.
[14:14]  * Carmen_Chapman watches intently to try and learn
[14:16] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The entire audience is enthralled by the lizard
[14:16] <ATtheorytime[DM]> When he finishes his first piece he takes out a second log and asks for a volunteer
[14:17]  * Carmen_Chapman enthusiastically raises her hand
[14:18] <ATtheorytime[DM]> Lizard Bob Ross scans the crowd mumbling to himself intently...
[14:23]  * Carmen_Chapman waves her hand in the air trying to get its attention
[14:23] <ATtheorytime[DM]> After a while his eyes settle on you and he gestures for you to come up
[14:23] <Carmen_Chapman> "WOOO!"
[14:23]  * Carmen_Chapman sets what little remains of her meat down on her seat and goes up to the front
[14:24] <ATtheorytime[DM]> The lizard asks you to begin carving something through gestures
[14:24] <ATtheorytime[DM]> Handing you a carving knife as he does so
[14:25]  * Carmen_Chapman tries to figure out what the hell he is gesturing you to make
[14:25] <ATtheorytime[DM]> He seems to be saying to just make anything you want
[14:26]  * Carmen_Chapman sits down and begins by carving off any bark on the piece of wood except for a ring around the base
[14:26]  * Carmen_Chapman begins making the top more pointed and the sides flatter
[14:27]  * Carmen_Chapman continues carving, attempting to make a carving of the circus tent
[14:27]  * Lizard_Bob_Ross stops you and adjusts your grip on the knife, explaining through various unintelligible noises how this position is better for carving from this particular angle
[14:29]  * Carmen_Chapman adjusts her grip and continues carving, occasionally looking up to Lizard Bob Ross to see if she's doing okay
[14:30]  * Lizard_Bob_Ross nods and occasionally stops you but more or less watches as you carve the outline of the circus tent
[14:32]  * Carmen_Chapman continues carving
[14:35] <Lizard_Bob_Ross> As Lizard_Bob_Ross notices what you are carving he stops you and details some techniques for how to get the soft canvas texture of the circus tent
[14:37]  * Carmen_Chapman watches his examples and then tries to imitate them on the carving
[14:37] <Lizard_Bob_Ross> With just the occasional pause and adjustment you complete the carving of the tent for Lizard Bob Roos
[14:39] <Lizard_Bob_Ross> He excitedly demonstrates this example to the crowd and they applaud wildly, before Lizard Bob Ross hands you the log you carved and gestures you back towards the audience
[14:42]  * Carmen_Chapman decaptchalogues a pen and holds it out to Lizard Bob Ross, showing him the bottom of her carving after she signs it
[14:42]  * Lizard_Bob_Ross signs the bottom of your carving
[14:43]  * Carmen_Chapman grins widely before taking the pen back and returning to her seat
[15:03] <Lizard_Bob_Ross> It appears that Lizard Bob Ross is beginning an intermission of his show
[15:05]  * Carmen_Chapman captchalogues the carving and picks up the remainder of her meat
[15:06]  * Carmen_Chapman finishes eating and tosses the napkins in the nearest garbage can-looking thingy
[15:06] <Carmen_Chapman> "Hmmmmmm....."
[15:07] <Carmen_Chapman> You aren't really sure what to do next.... This circus is really cool, but there's probably so much other awesome stuff to do too!!!
[15:07] <Carmen_Chapman> You kinda wanna just go exploring to see what you find....
[15:07] <Carmen_Chapman> But you don't want to leave here yet!!!
[15:07] <Carmen_Chapman> How about one last......
