  1. Dreamlog, 2014, December 1.
  2.
  3. At approximately 01:00 last night I took a 5mg slow-release melatonin tablet. The effects lasted approximately eight hours, after which I woke involuntarily. I chose to lie in bed longer, half-asleep, and I think because of that, I am unable to recall some of my earlier dreams.

  9. The only dream I can easily recall took place in a small shop-like area. The main room appeared to consist mostly of counters with checkout registers, and I don't think there was any shelving for merchandise. I think I identified it as my workplace at some point. There was a small section with a few swivelling chairs similar to those at a barber shop, or a dentist's office, perhaps, which were equipped with neural interfacing technology. The presence of these virtual-reality chairs is likely due to my avid reading of "Friendship is Optimal," over the course of two hours and thirty minutes last night before bed.

  11. In the story, a CEO of an enormously successful video game company creates an AI modeled after Princess Celestia from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, with the core goal to "satisfy the values of humans through friendship and ponies." The self-optimizing AI quickly becomes a superintelligence, and in short order learns the inner workings of the human mind more thoroughly than any human, then convinces almost every human on Earth to upload their own consciousness into her simulation of Equestria, a paradise in which they live out lives of maximized happiness and friendship.

  13. Needless to say, I would drop my current life for the kind Celestia provided in a heartbeat, given the chance. But I'm getting way off-topic.

  15. Back in my dream, I was wearing a skirt short enough that leaning forward or backward at all probably revealed my underwear. I noticed, though, that I hadn't shaven my legs, and began frantically looking around for some thigh-high socks to cover myself up. Then my neighbor Rally Fox came into the store and bought a few pizzas. I don't remember leaving the store, but I was then travelling with my mom and wearing more comfortable clothes: denim pants and sneakers, and a tee-shirt. We were looking at property; she was considering buying property to live on. I stepped out of the car we had taken to our destination and stood on a green balloon while she spoke with the landowner, I think. The balloon floated up into the air with me atop it, and eventually popped, leaving me to fall thirty-five feet to the grass below. I was surprised to find that I was not in pain upon impact, but reeled from the landing nonetheless.

  17. In recording this dream, I remembered parts of another.

  20. I was in a small back-room in what I think was something akin to a nursery. There was a weird sort of arcade machine, with very lewd images of the character Klonoa. The panel that had a button on it framed an image of the rabbit-thing bending over, exposing his butt to the player, with the machine's one button square on his anus. The face of the machine had a glass panel, behind which was some kind of roulette, and on the back wall was a depiction of Klonoa sitting with his legs spread, cum on his face and chest and dripping out of his butt and semi-erect penis.
  21.
  22. I pressed the button and let the roulette spin, and collected a few tickets the machine dispensed after spouting some congratulatory phrase I can't recall. I also grabbed a few tickets from a nearby table, tickets which had some other people's names on them. I recognized the names as those of children cared for in the nursery/day-care place I was in. Shortly after I grabbed the tickets, a man dressed sloppily in semi-casual clothing entered the small room and asked if I wanted to exchange the tickets for something, and gestured to the wall of shelving I hadn't yet noticed. I exchanged a couple of tickets for a cup of soda, and the man produced a list with more names on it, asking me to sign my name and mark the number of tickets I'd spent. I don't remember any of the names, but I recall that there were no names made of more than one word, and most of them appeared to start with "B" or "D." I either wrote or spotted my own name, Belmont, written with permanent marker, and the sloppily-dressed attendant produced a second sheet with a place for me to sign. I signed as "Belmont," noticing that the "B" was fucking horrendous, and then I heard a man speaking to children that were in the room. He was teaching them things from the Bible, teaching them that they would go to Hell for certain things. I got angry at this but couldn't control myself well enough to do anything but listen to the man, and unreality quickly faded away as I lost patience for his lies and awoke.
