I HAVE NO LEGS AND I MUST ROUTE.

I was born in the early age, a simple Polypal Mother destined to watch over the children I birth, and defend the throne where which I was born upon, it's a simple living, but I do it non the less, because I have no legs, and cannot move.


It has been nearly a year since I was born, I have birthed a couple dozen polypal spawns, they are small and weak, but they are mine, and I cherish every moment of them, I looked forward to them growing older, stronger, and finally leaving this haven to do god's work.


A wandering Androdai on a pilgrimage to our holy capital so that he might become one with our god was passing by, when he warned the local guards about a small invasion of tritons coming to take our lands and throne, this shall not come to be.


I let out a scream and command my children to attack, they slowly march forward, backed up by our local province defense. I am casting smites with the name of my god at them, they are falling to his holy power. I look at the battle field, and my children, they are dying... I realize that I too might fall in this battle as the province defense falls back.


My children begin to flee, and the wandering Androdai is square dancing with one as they walk away, I realize... I am all alone...

I try to turn around and run, fearing for my life, this land be damned, I do not want to die on this day.

I see the enemies coming at back, most of them for whatever reason decided to also flee, with only 2 looking like they still have the will to fight, I could likely win this battle but...

The enemies are getting slowed and fatigued trying to fight me through my mind slime defense, I could slay them with my holy powers or my life draining attacks but...

I am weak now, nearly dead, exhausted from trying to move and run away, maybe things could have gone differently but...

The final spear thrust enters my body, ending my life, I let out a piercing death scream the likes of which have never been heard, it completely misses the tritons, but do no fear, for my god has smote one of them from this earth...


If only I had legs, so that I might route...



TL;DR polypal mother routed and proceeded to do ALMOST NOTHING the entire combat cycle, even though she is totally immobile, I assume this effects other immobile units.
