@jessie, hey, I've been trying to relay info to dag on what you guys can improve on. Been taking a look at the logs for a the past week and giving dag some feedback on the healing.

You really need some better planning with your evang ramps, popping them on reorigination blasts (checking a few of the p3 attempts this seems to be the plan) is pretty weak. Your already having a tranq during those + stacked healing is a waste of the cooldown. Those would be much better used on chatters in p2, you will get alot more value out of the healing when you ramp on spread targets + the ticking from the dot.

Also you seem to be doing alot of double radiances when you dont have evang, then smiting a ton with 0 atonements active, try to do smaller ramps outside of your evang.

Stop wasting mana by sniping 90% health players with shadow mends, you're better off letting passive healing top those players.

Stop SWP on goonies and work on uptime on the boss because its way too low and causing you to miss alot of procs.

Mana going into p3 on most pulls is poor, p2 damage really isnt bad and all chatters can be handled with proper raid CDs, smaller burst cycles will smooth out your mana curve instead of having these large chunks of burn and gain with your mana.(edited)
You're missing a shadow fiend cast in P2, you should have 3 casts on this fight. 1 is phase1 (you're good on this one), one in p2 (missed every p3 attempt), and one deep in p3 (10% or less). The missed P2 fiend is huge on your co-healers. Fix the evangs and pop SF on one of the P2 evangs

Collapse phase is played poorly, ideally you want to  have all your ramp done before the 3rd tick, each pull you seem to do something inconsistent. For example what I do: gateway + dome tick1, run to other side while ramping PWS for tick 2, double radiance evange before tick 3. Throw a refresh somewhere in there on SWP.

Lastly, I understand that you are the raid leader, raid leading and playing disc properly is tough to do. Either fix your playstyle/prepare for your fight, pass raid leader to another member, or swap to holy. As it stands you are a detriment to your raid team, you could at least do something beneficial  by mongo spamming bind heal and pressing salv, that way when you talk down on other people about deaths from healer fault, you can at least not look like a complete clown missing dome and being afk on collapse. Luckily holy priest has spells that will target the lowest health players for you.
Also you and your paladin are autistic if you think mercy is getting more value than devo on this fight(edited)

The play from p2 yesterday was being swapped around a lot. Originally we were going to plan on swapping fiend to be used during the initial of phase 3 so we had to stop using it mid of p2 which we didn’t really need it (our 5th healer basically doesn’t mana tea at all.) the double radiance is definitely better to use, but when looking at a lot of our windows outside of the one i rapture, one of them is wings’d , two are mana tead’, two revivialed, and one devo’d so it was a bit difficult trying not to over heal. As for the shadow mend on targets I’m not to concerned about mana because we kind of over gear it so making sure people are topped is just my preference instead of assuming someone else will do it.  Phase 3 is 100% a mess at the beginning though won’t argue with that but each time we were attempting to do something different. But thanks for looking at everything. I appreciate all feed back even if you feel the need to throw in insults. If you don’t mind, could you assist daggurt with his logs too? @Demontoast @Daggurt

the tldr version is that devo is simply going to do more damage reduced per second than mercy can HPS.

Even before comparing numbers there are a few advantages devo has over mercy. DR is more valuable than healing. Having damage taken essentially out of the fight is more beneficial than the tiny trickle healing mercy will do. Devo will save a life more often than mercy will. And any life mercy could've saved devo would have as well. Another factor is how much better devo does in both stacked and spread situations. If no one is near you, you have 10% DR with devo, which is quiet a bit. If no one is near you with mercy you just have 1 tick of mercy going out at a time. Then in stacked situations, which on g'huun alone happen enough times during high damage periods to talk about, devo gains HUGE value when 20 people are affected by it. IIRC everyone in that aura is gaining 3% DR. That's going to do more than mercy healing 3 people at a time for negligible amounts. Then it's always worse to consider how both auras scale. Mercy is only going to scale with int, vers, and crit. For a heal to scale with only half our secondaries, it should scale very high with int in order to make up for that, but mercy falls flat on that. Devo, while it may not scale with any stats, it scales with difficulty/DTPS. It's going to do work on one of the biggest healer checks of the raid.

To compare numbers, you can simply throw a log into wow analyzer can it can calculate the devo DRPS.  It will even give you the value by the passive and AM. Looking at our first g'huun kill you can even see how devo is doing nearly as much as mercy did on your last pull p3 pull of the night before ever pressing AM ( https://gyazo.com/e61763ecb833e83d9817828584676e35 ). Then obviously with the added AM DR it does quiet a bit more.
