Rosie is very caring towards her friends. If they need anything, she won't hesitate to help them. If they're going through anything, she'll try her best to give them advice and will lend them a listening ear. She acts like a real mother, always asking "have you eaten" or nagging at you because she cares.

Rosie doesn't like going out to meet new people unless she's forced too. She'll avoid eye contact because "stranger danger" and she'll hide behind someone she's comfortable with. She'll be very quiet and she won't talk at all. She's that shy.

Because of what happened to her family, she had to work extra hard to support her family. She had to work at a part time job and go to school at the same time. So even though its during exam period, she still has to work. She eventually got used to the lifestyle though so it's no problem for her.

She is the WORST at making new friends and even though she tries her hardest to break the ice, she only ends up making things even more awkward. She's so awkward her boss gave her the job of being a Barista even though she was suppose to be a cashier. She was so awkward, even with the customers.

✽ BACKGROUND

Rosie Kwon Minhye was born in Toronto, Canada in a family of five. Her family consisted of her mother, father, two sisters who are twins, and herself. She was the youngest out of all of them. Her father rented a small shop and changed it into a bookshop. It was enough to support the family, and he made enough money to bring them on frequent trips too. Everything was good. Rosie was having fun in school and she was doing well in class, they were a normal family. Until...something happened.

Rosie's father grew greedy for money and went to a casino to gamble for more money. It was unecesarry, but he did it anyways. Rosie couldn't understand why, because the family was fine and there was no need for more money. Rosie's father ended up gambling away a large sum of money. Her father thought everything would be okay since he still had the bookshop, but when he had to pay the rent, he realised he couldn't afford it. So, he turned to loan sharks. But even with the money he borrowed, he couldn't earn enough to pay back on time.

With the amount of stress on Rosie's father, he ran away from home, leaving the rest of the family to deal with the vicious loan sharks. Rosie was only twelve at that time and she was extremely traumatised. The loan sharks would come banging at the family's door at night and once was even locked in the apartment unit because they chained up the gate to her door. Luckily, their neighbour heard Rosie banging on the door and quickly offered his help. Their neighbour was a locksmith so with the right equipment, he unlocked the lock and unchained the door, freeing the family.

The neighbour called the police and quickly relayed whatever Rosie's mother said to the police. Rosie's hatred for her father grew from then on and she would never forgive him.

Even though she hates her father, she felt a bit empty inside and she was confused as to why she was feeling like that. She tried to fill up the empty spot by getting herself a boyfriend, only to be cheated on. Her hatred for her father grew into a hatred for all men and she always had the impression to never trust males.

Eventually, Rosie's sister, along with her mother, made enough money to move the family to Korea to get away from the loan sharks.

✽ RELATIONSHIP
➸ it started off when the cafe Rosie at just opened. Chan was curious about the new cafe so he went to check it out. A particular worker caught his eye, and that worker was Rosie. From the on, he always visited the cafe she worked at and he would get a random drink just to give himself an excuse to see Rosie. Chan liked her for her looks at first and told himself that it was a little crush but as time passed and he visited the cafe more often, he would notice her little interactions with her co-workers and her smile just made him feel like everything was alright. His little crush turned into a huge one and he would try to strike up conversations with her and try to get to know her better. Rosie thought he was creepy and she started to get suspicious. She tried her best to keep her answers short and tried not to continue conversations, making chan's time harder but he wasn't about to give up. He would wait around in the cafe until closing time to make sure she wasn't alone because she usually worked overtime to earn more money. He would leave just before the closing time and would wait somewhere for her until she locked up the cafe then follow her home because he wanted to ensure her safety especially late at night. Of course eventually Rosie noticed this pattern and she found out he was following her. When she questioned him, he told her that he was just worried and something just told Rosie that he was being sincere. She felt her heart flutter and realised that Chan maybe wasn't such a bad person. Chan and Rosie became friends and soon enough, Rosie found herself falling for chan. Rosie didn't want to fall for Chan, she didn't want to get her heart broken again. When Chan confessed to her, of course she was delighted but she didn't want her heart to be broken again. She cried to chan about this and Chan immediately grew soft for her. He comforted her and promised he wouldn't leave her. And that's how they got together. They were a very soft couple. Although Rosie was abit awkward, Chan found it cute and tried his best to help her feel comfortable. He wouldn't force Rosie to do anything and would ask for permission anytime he wanted to kiss her (not like intense make out oof nO but like for small pecks) there would also be lots of backhugs and sometimes Chan would help out at the cafe also.

- Rosie was daydreaming when she stepped onto the road and she immediately felt someone pull her back. She snapped out of her thoughts and saw a car zoom past her. She looked behind and realised it was the regular customer at the cafe she works at

- Chan followed her back because he was paranoid but Rosie noticed and thought he was a stalker so she whipped out her pepper spray and got ready to spray him in the face but with Chan's quick reflexes, he dodged and Rosie immediately regconised him. She asked him why he was following her and he admitted that he was worried about her and wanted her to get home safe. It was the first time in awhile she felt her heart flutter
