- Appearance:
- a feathered headress of silks and jewels
- Dropped:
- A feathered headress of silks and jewels lies here.
- Examined:
- The base of this headress is more of a horned mask and is designed to fit snugly whether worn down
- on the face, or up. The mask portion of the garment is made with emerald silk on a firm backing of
- hardened leather that has been lined with soft suede for the comfort of the wearer. The raw silk of
- the mask has been painted with tribal markings and silver serpents swirl around the ridges of the
- horns which are made of spiralling emerald that is hollow on the interior side. The center point of
- the mask betwixt the eyes is marked with a marquise-cut emerald that has been faceted to coruscate
- brightly when hit by any lighting. The mask covers from barely above the eyes, to mid-cheek, clearly
- designed to leave the forehead visible. Attached to the horns of the mask is a slender chain to
- which most of the headdress is secured. When worn down over the eyes, the chain is designed to slide
- beneath the horns of the wearer, or rest atop the head in a fashion similar to a headband should the
- wearer lack horns, a slender piece of more solid silver woven through the chains to give them a more
- set form. From the slender chain, several yards of emerald and obsidian silk, velvet, and brocades
- hang down, each wavy, curved piece designed to reach the lower back when worn up, and upper-thigh
- when worn down. Alongside these pieces, faux-feathers adorn the headdress in mass quantity, the
- silken plumes strung together on thin tracts of silver. Strands of jewel-adorned chain mix in with
- the fabric and feathers, each one cut with a distinct octagon cut and hung prominently on lengths of
- silver. Glittering, multi-faceted amethysts, dazzling emeralds, coruscating taerzseralla crystals,
- black djeirite, shimmering violanthe, and even dark green shards of malachite are all mixed in
- amongst the fabrics and feathers. Leather cords hung with beads and vibrantly dyed feathers of green
- silk hang amongst the softer materials, and more than one are hung with carved pounamu beads that
- have been fashioned to resemble coiled snakes.
- Worn 1p:
- You secure the mask of this headdress into place, sliding the silver chain forewards to rest on your
- head in the appropriate spot, concealing your hair in a mass of fabrics, jewels, and feathers.
- Worn 3p:
- $(name$) secures the mask of a tribal, feathered headress of silks and jewels down over $(his$) face,
- concealing their hair in a mass of fabrics, coruscating jewels and feathers.
- Removed 1p:
- You push the mask portion of this headdress back from your face to remove it, the silk ties falling
- to rejoin the others.
- Removed 3p:
- $(name$) slides the mask up off of their face to remove it, the silk ties falling to rejoin the
- others.
