  16. Crelate seeks an up-and-coming IT Systems Engineer to become our in-house DevOps specialist. You will learn and eventually own both our internal IT needs as well as our production infrastructure.

  20. Responsibilities of this Dev Ops position include:

  22. Maintain flexible hours and be on-call to deal with production issues.
  23. Develop and implement provisioning, build, test, and deployment automation scripts.
  24. Build and maintain Staging, Test, Migration, Preview and Production environments across on-premise infrastructure and Microsoft Azure.
  25. Manage our Microsoft SQL, Redis, Nginx and Elastic deployments, building out and optimizing the each.
  26. Continuously help us adopt new technologies, such as containers. Coming up with new ideas on ways to improve the performance and reliability of our product.
  27. Maintain both Windows and Linux servers as well as networks, firewalls, and routers.
  28. Drive security audits, ensuring our infrastructure is safe and reliable.
  29. Develop and document processes for all the above.

  33. Required Experience
  34.  
  35. At least 2 years of relevant professional experience (System Admin, internal IT, etc.)
  36. Skilled and efficient scripting such as Bash or PowerShell.
  37. Proven ability to manage Linux and Windows environments.
  38. A college degree, or relevant bootcamp is preferred.
  39. Bonus: Experience or certification with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
