- Elick vs. Jackyjack
- I want to start off by saying that I really approve of the friendly tone that this debate had and the way both debaters copped to their own mistakes. This was an extremely fun debate to read and I hope both of you stick around one way or the other.
- MT vs. Dr. Sylvester: MT wins. This is a fairly classic brick vs. gimmick character matchup. MT hard counters Sylvesters gimmick by way of her anatomy, Jacky’s responses reflect this to some degree. The one thing brought up with the potential to be effective is Dr. Beefton, an amp that takes time to activate and is unlikely to be opened with. MT wins by entering melee, Sylvester has to avoid this melee and enact their single viable win condition before MT does this. I believe MT can engage more often than not, therefore she wins.
- Conor vs. Sips: Sips wins. Elick’s win condition is that Sips kills Conor, Conor then gets back up and kills Sips. Sips win condition is taking out Conor in a nonlethal way. Elick seems aware that Conor will likely need a few tries to take out Sips, and argues from that framework. This means Sips has time to resort to a nonlethal spell, which Jacky argues Sips will do in a relevant timeframe upon seeing lethal means aren’t working. I therefore give a narrow win to Sips, as she seems to be fighting in conditions that allow her to set up her win condition.
- Max vs. Elodie: Elodie wins. Both parties seem largely reliant on range to win, with Max's primary win con being "shoot her" while Elodies is "magic him". Elick claims neither party has an outright travel speed advantage, meaning they achieve their ranged spawns in a similar timeframe. This is never contested. With this being a shoot off between Max and Elodie, it's essentially "who hits first". Jack casts enough doubt on Max's willingness to open with lethal means that I think Elodie has initiative in a ranged fight, and that most anything she does turns the fight to her favor. I give her the win.
- Both parties should feel free to DM me if they'd like to see my notes.
