Thad Doesn't Like Spiderman

Tsaaq: ((Hey you, long time no sees.))

Tsaaq: Hayley had finished sorting back issues which had been her favorite task at work. So she resigned in watching anime on her phone while slouched on the couch dramatically since everything had been slow for the most part. The holiday rush already finished. // Bliss was at the counter, looking through seasonal reports and records in an attempt to set goals for September. She sputtered her lips softly, tapping her pen on the page.
Smokeless: Dori was running out of inspiration for her own comic she had on webtoon. She sighed some and wasdriving through town when in big letters she saw the Between The panel sign. She figured she would give it a shot and parked her car. She collected her things hiking her purse up on her shoulder. She tucked her keys into her pocket and put the strap of her purse over her head nad on her opposite shoulder. She pushed the door open and looked around. She smiled big in amazment at the place. She might have just found her second favorite palce other then the bookstore. -
Covet: Eli had been sitting down, looking over at Bliss, knowing he had to tell her about the whole Situation at the bar. He was hoping he could play it off casually, considering he'd done his best to pretty much give Jade any inclination that he wanted her there.  He stood up and made his way over to her, "Hey, what are you working on over here that's got you making noises like that?" He asked her looking her over.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam emerged from the stock room with a big box in his hands, filled with small stuffed prizes for the crane machine. Making his way in that direction, he dropped the box down beside the game before turning to head back over to the counter, leaning his forearms on top of it and looking between Eli and Bliss. "Can I have the keys for the game? I'm going to restock the prizes."-
Tsaaq: Hayley looked up once she saw a figure enter the shop. Once she spotted Dori she blinked and turned her gaze to her phone screen once more. // "Hello! Welcome to Between The Panels!" Bliss called out. "We need a new set of goals for the fall. I was just hoping I could get it out of the way based off of the sales from summer." She answered him before putting then pen down and smiling. She ducked under the counter, looking around for keys after Adam's inquiry.
Smokeless: Dori smiled seeing a few faces she knew and waved to them. She looked at the blonde who greeted her and she smiled."Thanks." She walked over to a rack of comics and looked over the covers. She tucked a strand of her now short hear behind her ear.-
Covet: Eli nodded his head and leaned against the counter giving the girl a wave as she walked in, before he looked at Bliss and Adam, "Hey, I think I saw her at the bar on Friday night. She came over after Steph and Cadence did."  He said Dori being the perfect excuse for him to trail into what happened that night.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam twisted around to see Dori coming into the shop to begin browsing around, identifying her quickly before turning back to Eli. "Dori? She lives at the house. She's Jade's roommate downstairs." He spoke as he shifted his weight from one foot to the other.-
Tsaaq: Hayley faintly heard Eli's words and scrunched up her face. Hayley pulled out her earbuds. She put her phone aside, bringing her knees to her chest with her fucking chucks resting on the fucking white couch cushion. "You were at the bar?" She asked skeptically in a quiet voice. // "I don't recall if I've been accqauinted with her or not." Bliss said softly. "Senioritis is the worst isn't it?" She sighed and shook her head at herself, chuckling. "Oh. How lovely?" Bliss said rather vacantly at Adam's additional information. "Dearest, I can't find the keys." She grumbled.
Smokeless: Dori picked up a comic. She figured she would buy it after skimming through it. She bit her lip looking around for something. sHe took a deep breath and smiled finding a manga she found interesting and picked it up too. She hadn't read it in awhile and figured why not. She made her way up towards the counter setting her stuff down."How is everyone today?" she smiled looking over at everyone. Her ears were burning-
Covet: "Yeah, I went there for a change of scenery while I was doing work emails. I was quietly sequestered in my corner booth, minding my own and being productive with work stuff before school this week, all the while I was enjoying a beer. It started off like a good idea." He said then shook his head, before he looked at Adam and gave a soft huff, "Of course she is. Maybe that's why they were both there that night too." He said then looked over at Bliss, They aren't under the counter on the hook?" He asked with a furrowed face, turning his attention to Dori, "Hi there, did you find everything alright?"
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know if I'd necessarily say that a bar is a productive place to get work done, but to each their own." He said with an easy shrug, furrowing his brows when Bliss said she couldn't find the keys. "Maybe they were left in the back?" He asked as Dori walked up, twisting to send her a casual wave. "Hi Dori. We're good, just working. How are you?"-
Tsaaq: "I hope you're not talking about BG, because thats probably the least productive place to do stuffs." Hayley said in a monotone then went quiet once Dori came over. // "I need to get a new prescription I think." She huffed as well then smiled. "Oh, there we go." She said standing up straight and handing Adam the keys. "Oh I'm doing alright. Do you need any help?" She asked Dori.
Smokeless: She smiled and nodded to Eli."I did I think..." she chuckled softly looking over her items. She turned her attention to Adam."That is good I am alright." She smiled to Hayley and her attention was caught by the blonde."umm yes actually...I wanted to get something for my boyfriend. He is a real home body and all and I have been gone with work and visiting my family. Wanted to pick him up something nice. Any suggestions?"
Covet: "It was honestly fine up until Karaoke started, then it became a little more distracting. But I was just about finished with answering emails, when next thing I know... Jade's coming over trying to be a distraction. Trying to get me to have a conversation with her, and I wasn't giving her any ideas or motions  that she should stay. Trying to stay away from her, hoping she'd just leave. Steph and Cadence were there and Steph came over to talk to Jade." He said then frowned, pausing in his story to look at Bliss with a concerned tone in his voice, "New prescription for what?"
Alexithymiaa: "Hmm..." He thought fo a moment before reaching out to take the keys from Bliss. "I guess it depends what he likes. Does he have a favorite comic, or character, or anything like that?" He asked Dori before catching Eli's story. "Oh, I didn't know they were friends."-
Tsaaq: Hayley got up from the couch with her arms crossed over her chest. Looking pensive. "Maybe a..." She began to say to Dori before pursing her lips and just turning to Eli and listening to him. Being petty and making assumptions didn't seem like the healthy choice. "Thirsty bitch." She whispered under her breath and shook her head. // "For my glasses." She said before her face becoming more stern. Bliss attempted to mask her ire. "Oh. You didn't just tell her to... Go away?" She asked him carefully. "Well we have a wide array of gifts that I'm sure your boyfriend would enjoy. Maybe a mug since he likes being home?"
Smokeless: Dori looked at Adam."Well he has spiderman posters on his wall and some star wars items." she smiled to Bliss and nodded her head. She had heard Hayley and took a deep breath. She was trying to ignore her comment. She knew alot of people hated her for who she was dating. She had been listening to Eli speak."umm not to interupt your conversation or anything but Jade was coming on to him pretty strong poor guy looked like he was climbing up the wall to escape but Steph took care of it.."she took a deep breath."mind if I just leave these here and I'm going to go see what spiderman stuff you have."
Covet: "Yeah, Thirsty...Exactly!" Eli said looking at her, "It was kind of sad really, I was getting to that point, because she was basically about to eat me alive, it happened fast. 'Oh Eli" "Oh, hi..." "What are you doing here." "Drinking a beer working." "Oh let me sit down and slide you practically into the corner." "Uh.. Can you-" Then Steph walks up and calls her a skank, Cadence shortly behind her as back up." He said getting animated with his story, " Next thing I know, Jade's out of the booth and on the floor with Steph going full hail mary on her. Needless to say I quickly made my exit after that."
Alexithymiaa: "Wow..." Adam stammered in surprise, because what the fuck is this entire story. "That's... that's intense. I hope no one got seriously hurt..." He spoke gently, glancing back to Dori. "Sure, we'll set this stuff aside for you."-
Tsaaq: She snorted as she covered her mouth, trying not to laugh at Eli's story. "Wait... Why was she trying to talk to you in the first place? She knows you're with Bliss..." Hayley trailed off, as if she even needed an explanation. She immediately pursed her lips in realization. "Right. I almost forgot. She only wants sloppy seconds." She said in a monotone as she went to turn away, taking Dori's things so she could leave them on the counter. // Bliss inhaled sharply with a frown. "You should've already been at that point. There's a line between being nice and pushing boundaries."She shook her head slowly, rubbing her temples. She looked over to Hayley and sighed. "You should get a restraining order this is getting ridiculous." Bliss her voice dropping to a whisper as she spoke to Eli.
Smokeless: Dori nodded her head."Thank you I really apperciate it." She turned and walked off back out to the racks. She found the section with the spiderman comics. She was debating on weather she should get Thad a comic or perhaps a graphic tshirt. but then again he did work at hot topic and probably had enough of those. She sighed and picked up twodifferent spiderman comics and made her way back to the counter setting them down and digigng through her purse."sorry about that." she pulled her debit card out and handed it over waiting.-
Covet: "Because she knows I'm with Bliss. That's exactly her reasoning. Not that it's going to get her anywhere. She's clearly jealous. "I kind of thought saying That I was working would have been enough. It wasn't really severe enough to say a Restraining order is due. Besides, I'm pretty sure she won't really be much of a problem after the beating Steph gave her. She wasn't exactly pulling her punches." Eli said with a bit of a cringe. "I didn't get to see the damage, I was wanting to be as far away from all that as possible."
Alexithymiaa: -He blew out a deep breath and brought his hand back over his head, twisting the game keys in his hand a few times. "Maybe... now everyone will stay away from each other?" He said with a bit of a wince, genuinely upset it had to come down to violence for anything to get solved.-
Tsaaq: She shook her head slowly. "Well. I mean. I already knew that shit about her. Nobody wants to listen to me though." She said begrudgingly as she went to sit on the counter, swinging her feet. "When has that ever happened?" Hayley asked Adam in an unamused tone. // "Of course she's jealous!" Bliss said immediately. She shook her head at Eli. "Very well." She said, throwing up her hands as she went over to the register to ring Dori up. "It's not anything she didn't deserve." She whispered to herself.
Smokeless: Dori listened to them all."It was actually pretty funny and Jade did start it. She pushed Steph and that's what set everything off." She smiled to Bliss as she rang her up."Thank you." she took her stuff and wanted to stay and talk and make new friends but she wasn't sure so she stood there for a moment.-
Covet: Eli frowned at Bliss's reaction for a second then nodded, "It's kind of nice that someone else was looking out for me, not that I wouldn't have been able to get free myself, Steph just came in before I even had a chance." He looked over at Hayley, "Sorry for not listening back then,  Somethings you wind up learning the hardway." He said getting quiet because he knows what he did.
Alexithymiaa: (Lmfao he knows what he did.)
Alexithymiaa: -Adam gave a shrug, squeezing his fingers around the keys in his palm. "I don't know, I guess it's just wishful thinking. I don't know why it's so hard for people who don't get along to just... avoid each other.  Everyone wins that way."-
Tsaaq: "Don't feel bad. People don't listen to me usually anyways. So it's like... Normal." She shrugged, not thinking deeply on Eli's response. "It's cause good can't exist without evil and if they just avoided each other people wouldn't know the value of morality." Hayley said, hopping off the counter. "But I guess... Some people are just attracted to the darkness too." She looked right over to Dori, flashing a sarcastic grin before resuming a frown and turning to walk away. // Bliss' arms were crossed over her chest when she was done. "Thank you, come again whenever you like." She told Dori. She eyed Eli and lowered her gaze to the floor. "Don't fault yourself Hayley. Some people need to be burned to find out fire is hot. No err on you." She said softly before going over to Eli. "I can't believe after everything you can still even allow her to be near you. And how unapologetic is..." She tried to speak softly so only the two of them could hear.

Smokeless: Dori took a deep breath as Hayley looked at her at the end of her sentence."Some people do or say dark things but that does not define them. We all have a darkside. ying and yang. OR like star wars. Look at darth vader. He wasn't always dark. He was a good jedi. Some people can resist the urge of darkness and others can not. But all in all God gave his only son to wash away our sins...all we have to do is ask for forgivness because forgiveness is not just for others but for ourselves as well."she was rambling on and she took a deep breath again."I think it best if I just leave thank you again. I am sure Thad will enjoy his comics..."She smiled to everyone and waved to them before heading towards the door. she was btiing the inside of her cheek. IT was high school all over again.-
Covet: "I don't think I could have said that better myself. I was going to say it's heroes versus Villains, but yes, that. All of that." He said to Hayley, nodding at Adam too, before looking at Bliss, putting his arm around her shoulders, "It's because I'm a nice guy, with a hero complex, I can't be okay with being unecessarily rude to someone. I will however say after this last little event my interactions with her will be limited, to Thank you for coming in, here's your reciept."
Alexithymiaa: -Adam glanced over his shoulder as Hayley started to walk away, chewing on the tip of his tongue. "I don't know if it's necessarily the same...." He spoke gently, trying to tread lightly. "But I guess I should get back to work..."-
Tsaaq: "It's just how the world is." She said to him. Hayley blinked slowly at Dori as she turned to look at her. "Are you fucking shitting me?" She asked in an unamused tone then glanced over to Bliss. // She pursed her lips still. "I never said be rude. Just firmly revoke her privileges with you. You're so friendly with her she thinks she can disrespect our relationship." She sighed. Her eyebrow raising at Hayley and Dori's words. "Um actually-" She scoffed a bit. "Anakin was a pretty bad Jedi. He was self centered and obsessive, so much so that it cost him his body and his wife. He was very disobedient from the start. I hardly think he's a proper example... And for the record Master Windu repeatedly mentioned how dubious he was of Anakin." She explained. Bliss shrugged. "I just had to... Explain that."
Smokeless: Dori smiled to Eli"thank you I almost forgot." She ignored Hayley completely and took her recipt. she noddd to Bliss."Than kyou for explaining. I only seen the movies but I hear the books are good. I apperciate you explaining."she as serious withthe thank you to bliss. She turned back around and sped walk out of the comic store and towards her car. she got in and set the comics aside and she sat there insilence for a moment.-
Covet: Eli had a slight look of a beat puppy as Bliss spoke to him, "I wasn't even that friendly with her, this time. That didn't exactly stop her. But It's okay, I already put my foot down about how to deal with her." Eli said with a slight sigh then had to hide an amused smirk as Bliss made her explination, extremely proud  of her.  "That was very eloquently rebuttled, My love."
Alexithymiaa: -Adam just sort of blinked as Bliss spoke, actually impressed with her explanation. "Wow, those were all good points. I feel like we need to have a movie night and watch the movies again just so I can go back and reference everything you've just mentioned."-
Tsaaq: Hayley snorted a bit. "Butt." She whispered to herself as she went to sit on the couch, propping her feet up. "I should go out there and beat that bitch's ass..." She muttered. Staring out the window of the shop. "I don't know if I can sit through that many movies at once. I don't know if you can sit through it either." She said as she pointed to Adam. // She furrowed her brow at Dori and gave her an awkward wave. "But... I learned all those things from the movies." She whispered then frowned a bit at her attitude towards Hayley. Bliss curtsied and nodded her head. "Why thank you." She said. "We could do that. I don't mind. You already know I have all the films in tow."
Smokeless: Dori started her car and sighed making her way home for the night. She cranked the radio up as high as it could go. She was drowning things out in her mind now.-

Covet: "We could break it up into a couple of weekends, if it sounds like it'd be too much to take on at once." Eli added to the suggestion after Hayley made her points. "I know I'm game for a Star Wars marathon. Now.. correct me if I'm wrong, but was she buying Thad, Spider-Man stuff? I'm pretty sure Thad's not a Spider-Man fan."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah...." He trailed off as he thought about it, starting to nod his head. "You're probably right. More than a couple movies at once and I start to get a little antsy. But making a few weekends out of it is probably a good idea." He turned to walk over to the crane game like he'd originally intended, pushing the key into the lock and turning it to open the door. "Yeah, I think she was. I'm pretty sure she was confusing your stuff, for his. He never took down the stuff you left behind."-
Tsaaq: "That sounds better. Cause straight through? No way." Hayley said. She crossed her arms over her chest once they started talking about Thad. // "I suppose you learn something new everyday... I didn't know that girl was going out with him." She said. "If I recall correctly he's more of a Joker fan..." Bliss said before looking over to Hayley then lowering her head, nudging Eli slightly.
Covet: . "That's....disconsertingly flattering, I think?"  He said cofused. "She's brave, that's all I have to say." He said softly more to Bliss than any of them, when he got the nudge from Bliss deciding to change the subject. "Me and Adam can cook for you ladies, maybe we can find some sort of modified star wars related cook book to make something out of?"
Alexithymiaa: "That actually sounds like it could be pretty interesting." He said with a laugh, leaning down to grab a few plushies from the box, tossing them into the game so nothing was really wedged in there. "It wouldnt be a bad thing to look into ordering for the shop, either. Themed cook books."-
Tsaaq: She looked over to Eli and shrugged, her expression softening. "I guess. If you guys want to do that." She said. "Popcorn and movie snacks are also fine." // Bliss smiled at Eli and kissed his cheek. "That sounds like an absolute delight. And I like that idea." She replied.
Covet: "We can break it up, each time. Movie snacks and popcorn one weekend, Dinner another weekend." He said with a smile to Hayley, then looked at Adam and Bliss, "Do you think something like that would sell here? I mean it's definitely in our warehouse of nerd, but I just wasn't sure if we had many people that interested in cooking."
Alexithymiaa: "I can't see why not. We have a pretty decent amount of adult customers who would probably be into something like that. As well as it's kind of a cool thing for parties a lot of the time. We could always start with a small stock and order more if we find it does well?" He asked, bending down to get more plushies for the machine.-
Tsaaq: ((Oh it's my turn.))
Tsaaq: "It'll probably be good for presents." Hayley said. "Since Christmas and all those other fun things are coming up." She got up from the couch, attempting to brush off her sneaker stains. // Bliss nodded her head. "I think it's wonderful. Adam is right! If we order it we can just not order a lot so we can see how well it will do?" She piped up.
Covet: "Well, if all of you agree it's a good idea, then by golly george, we're going to do it. I'll look it up tomorrow and get a small shipment in." He said then looked at the clock. "We ready to get things closed up for the night?"
Alexithymiaa: -Adam turned to look over at the clock on the wall, nodding his head. "Yeah, I'll pack it in." He spoke as he locked the crane game again, pulling the keys out and leaning down to lift the half empty box of prizes. Walking over to the counter, he set the box down, moving behind the counter to replace the game keys on the hook.-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head. "Yes please." She said as she went over the computer before pausing. "Anything you need us to do before we go?" // She went to tidy up the shop at the mention of closer. "Yes, of course. I think we're just about ready to close. Everything appears to be in order."
Covet: "Great, well if you two want to head out, I will wish you a fond farewell and a good rest tonight, for classes in the morning. Bliss and I will lock up and get the til counted before we head upstairs." Eli said to them both.
Alexithymiaa: "I'll just put these in the back." He spoke as he lifted the box of prizes up to head into the stock room to stow it away until the next time the game needed to be restocked. Emerging out from the door, he headed over to the computer, stopping behind Hayley. "My first class starts at nine. I'm actually kind of excited to start class again."-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head again. "Got it." She said. "Yeah, lets hope this semester doesn't suck." Hayley said, punching out then crossing her fingers. "See you guys tomorrow." She waited on Adam so they could go home. // Bliss squealed a bit. "I'm excited too. You're not alone! Have a good night you two!"
Covet: "It's going to be quite the semester especially with these last two to go." He said as he started getting the til counted down, "Get home safely!" He said to Hayley and Adam giving them both a wave.
Alexithymiaa: -He stepped up to the computer after Hayley clocked out, clocking himself out and turning to head in the direction she'd gone. "Y'all have a good night." He said with a wave as he made his way out of the shop with Hayley, walking her to his truck to help her inside before taking off to head home.-
