- As Jack made his first few steps outside of that fort for the first time in two years. He didn't have much to say but a feeling of peace washed over as the sunlight bathed him for the first time in a long time. He took a deep breath in and continued marching forward.
- He kept moving forward. Each step was slow but they held conviction, determination. If someone were to see him walking out as they approached him, they would instantly sense that the man focus seemed to be elsewhere or perhaps even everywhere. Taking in sights he thought he'd never see again. As if in a daze, slowly waking up from a horrid, horrid dream.
- Or was he about to jump right back into another nightmare? Needless to say, blood still ran from his neck as magic flared around his form wildly. He approached the beach, looking outwards to the hills. To freedom but much more importantly than that-- to a place where he could get a smoke. Just one...damn smoke.
- " We're gettin' there mate... " he tells himself, striking his gauntlets together, making sparks. Replaying the sound in his mind over and over as if to keep him on track.
- (Jack)
- Standing atop the hill, the fact that someone had broken out of the Seahold Thalassia was.. not something he wouldn't notice.. in a settlement meant to be as peaceful as possible, as well, one walking across the docks flaring their magic everywhere, bleeding from their neck, was quite obvious.
- So, he descends from the cliff-- vines help his descent, and he comes to stand before Jack with his staff in one hand.
- ".. Go back," the mute speaks. This scene would have no good end, so, he may as well use words for once.
- (Aspen)
- Jack says, "...I'm gettin' a smoke. "
- Aspen says, "..Go back."
- The Archon floated down along with Brazha, and even from the far distance, he could already spot Jack's attempt to, quite frankly, simply walk out- the expression upon Zaruma's face was clearly unamused by such action, but nonetheless, he speaks.
- "It appears that our deal was almost about to get away right under our nose, Brazha."
- A glance thrown towards Titan, who despite her size, was still smaller than Zaruma, if only because the Archon was actually levitating in the air.
- "Do you want to have him in capture, then? He's all yours."
- Clearly, the Archon still kept the memory of Jack's disrespect, and that alone caused him to treat Jack as nothing more but a piece of ware- not even worthwhile of an actual human life.
- (Zaruma)
- Dakashi moves to sit and watch the fireworks.
- (Dakashi Hatayama)
- Floating doesn't make one taller, Zaruma!!!!
- Indeed, the titan follows after Zaruma, every movement they make far slower than his, but keeping up with his pace merely off of the back of the sheer length of their stride. Truly, nine foot is obscenely large, utterly inhuman, monstrous perhaps. .
- Out of Brazha and Zaruma, only one of them is a demon.
- But Brazha somehow manages to at least look even less human through size alone.
- Some had been cut down upon being proclaimed thieves.
- Some had been held face down in molten glass.
- And yet, the titan doesn't explode into bellowing and violence, no. They merely loom quietly, ominously, until-
- One deep breath causes that breastplate to rise and fall slowly, the colossus' voice rumbling out far lower, quieter than usual.
- "Farmers. Merchants. Why did you do it?"
- (Brazha Earthcleaver)
- He looks at them for a moment, his mind still focused on the cigarettes. Just one more smoke, perhaps even one last smoke. At that moment, that was all he wanted and he planned on getting it but before him stood obstacles. Aspen, Zaruma, Brazha.
- They blocked his path and he struck his gauntlets over and over and over until finally he dropped his hands and sighed. " Why? Yer asking me, why? " he looked irritated, annoyed--he didn't just look it. He felt it, in his bones. To think that, that was why he was still here.
- Jack merely shook his head. " Ye ain't the golden bitch so I reckon you be the other one. Brazha? " he lets out a long sigh. He didn't want to deal with this. Didn't see the need. " What do ye fuckin' think? What do ye fucking want to think? Ye wanna know why I gave those shits a piece of my mind? Huh? Ye wanna know why Snake fuckin' hated yer guts? Or ye just want some validation or something-- something that makes it easier for you I guess. Well guess what. I got nothing for ye but this. "
- He stretches his hands out and merely said
- " I fought 'em because I felt like it. "
- (Jack)
- Obnoxious till the end.
- The Archon had grown displeased to even hear Jack's voice, and without a further a-do, he addressed towards Brazha.
- "He's yours to do with him as you will. Vent yourself, indulge yourself in beating him up, but I shall be the one to end it, as we agreed upon."
- "I may need practice with something... and there's no better practice target than a living one."
- Zaruma was rather dismissive, assuming that Brazha would step in to oppose Jack by now. After all, that's what she wanted, right?
- (Zaruma)
- The demon simply slid across the beach shadows covering the where it stood. Looking towards the scene it wondered what was going on exactly but from Xolminos' extended time in Crafthold it could only assume that they were going to tear him from limb to limb.
- Watching a human suffer was always entertainment so it would be fun to see how the Archon handled it. As long as he could hear some beautiful screams or see rivers of crimson blood...it wouldn't matter how much pain the man had to endure. The demon would get his enjoyment in watching the weaker humans suffer.
- (Xolminos)
- "No. I do not care. What Askiladd Sea-Snake felt."
- The titan's free vast hand descends to the variety of leather pouches at their waist, metal-clad fingertips dipping within to begin winding out a golden chain.
- But as the chain is pulled free, it comes to light that it's been melted to the very top of something, like some sort of horrifically depraved pendant.
- What appears to be the head of a golden statue, its neck warped as if melted and twisted off of the rest of a body, instead of clean cut. Whomever the sculptor is, they must be a master- it's shockingly lifelike, twisted into a grotesque death mask of horror and pain as if mimicking the final moments of someone's life in agony.
- The head of Askiladd Sea-Snake. Perhaps some wouldn't recognise it as being anything more than a golden sculpture, but. .
- "He was a traitor. A blasphemer against his god. And a thief. He got his due. No. I care about you.
- You damaged my farmers. My property. You took from me.
- You're a thief too. You know what's coming."
- Slowly but surely, that vast helm turns to regard Zaruma, a glimmer of burnished golden light passing behind it.
- "He won't be able to move. When I'm done. If you want your fight. You should do it now."
- (Brazha Earthcleaver)
- Aspen gives up. It looked like this scene was being handled..
- ":I"
- Then he walks off.
- (Aspen)
- He shook his head at Brazha.
- "No. I do not think he will be able to sate my urges when it comes to battle. You can go on and deal with him - for as long as I get to land the final, devastating blow."
- That's all that really mattered to Zaruma, after all. For him to have a chance to practice what he desired for so much? That'd be truly a treat.
- Other than that, he merely stood nearby, awaiting for Brazha to do it.
- (Zaruma)
- Nyphadora exists unless it's scene locked.
- (Nyphadora)
- Jack merely rose a brow, wondering what they were going to do. He stood there waiting for something to happen but it seems either didn't wish to fight first or rather--they didn't see the possibility of a second fight. A grin forms on his face, humorous really. Even as he looks death in the eyes, death looks down on him, belittling him.
- " If either of ye ain't gonna buckle yer asses up and start acting, i'mma finish what I done started and get m'self a smoke. "
- (Jack)
- "So be it."
- With all the speed and grace of a particularly lethargic glacier, the titan reaches down to stuff Askiladd's severed head back into the pouch from whence it came. Judging by the audible clink of metal on metal, it's not the only chunk of gold held within.
- A low rumble of a sigh shakes from behind that vast breastplate, and that beyond-human sized greataxe is swung down, left to hang at the titan's side instead.
- "Will you resist me. Thief?"
- (Brazha Earthcleaver)
- Jack raises his fists and smirks. Remembering a moment that just seemed like yesterday. " Wouldn't be fun if I didn't, lass? "
- (Jack)
- The demon would chuckle the man simply exuded a type of uncaring energy but that all seemed to be a farce humans who face death so overwhelmingly must all have different reactions. Watching a human have something different of a reaction than extreme terror or hysteria was a bit eye opening for the shadowy demon.
- A slight glare over to the Archon and the hulking ball Behemoth of rage that was Brazha it would be clear that the two were going to kill him. Violence and chaotic energies were almost tangible in their words as they spoke tone another making sure that he would get enough to kill him 10 times over.
- The demon could only watch, How humans and Archons interacted. How someone at the threshold of dying responded all was sooo damn interesting the demon couldn't help but be elated watching so many things happen all at once but what he wanted more than anything were to hear the man whos demur was so confident and uncaring...even a bit rude turn into something of nightmares bloodcurdling screams and the sound of human bones breaking would be something Xolminos would recreate in its illusions.
- (Xolminos)
- Nara says, "<" oh brother.... i dont think he knows what he got him self into" >"
- The little Fae was watching.
- How couldn't she? Potential fights between Magis were the only source of entertainment she could truly appreciate these days. Everything else had become boring and stale!
- "Oh! I finally get to see them in action, gehe. Proper action!" The Fae spoke, her gaze stuck as if glued to Brazha's figure.
- (Nyphadora)
- Dakashi lifts the quill pen from his scroll as he turns his gaze to watch the fireworks about to happen.

- Brazha Earthcleaver drops Hair #1.
- Brazha Earthcleaver picks up Hair #1.
- "Then I will take. Exception. So rarely do I give any thief. Any respect.
- So rarely will I fight. Without pay. But. ."
- The titan's free hand ascends as that glimmer of gold lights up again, focussed wholly upon the unarmed man before them-
- Deep down, far in the back of Jack's mind, perhaps he would feel a nagging sensation. One of something being missing, something small but important. .
- It alights upon that greathelm, tugging it up and off without any ceremony and tossing it back onto the beach.
- Great braids of Nordic red hair fall free, and despite appearances they're as well cared for as the Vanirhallan's real world counterparts! Soft and silken, well treated. Vikings like their hair. Strong features bear skin as pale as Vanirhallan snow, cheeks as blackened by soot as the armour itself.
- High upon their forehead, the cyclops' visage is crested by a pair of horns, pointed but small and nubby. They're a slate grey and flecked with minute pinpricks of gold. .
- But most importantly, the titan bears only a single huge eye. Terrifyingly sharp and aware for someone otherwise so seemingly slow, its depths are a crystalline clear blue, but-
- A glimmer of gold swims around within, once akin to a golden coin catching sunlight at the bottom of a tropical lagoon. But now it grows and grows, swirling faster and expanding, eclipsing more and more of that blue.
- The embers dancing over Brazha grow vastly more numerous and swiftly brighter, brighter still! Within moments they too are a burnished gold, but-
- That nagging feeling grows worse. Worse, worse still. The unease that follows Brazha is palpable, but it holds not a candle to the sensation that may swirl within Jack's gut. One of loss, of violation, of having some integral part of him taken by force, and absorbed into a vastly larger foe.
- -they are far from beautiful, reflecting nothing to onlookers but suffering and human violation. The violation of having something minor taken from one's being, even if small, leaving one impossibly unable to be whole again.
- "I want to look into your eyes. When I take everything. You have left."
- (Brazha Earthcleaver)
- Expectations.
- They're a fickle thing, in truth. Easily proven correct, or shattered utterly. And Brazha's no stranger to either.
- One would expect a Vanirhallan monster like her to be some hulking, brutish berserker.
- One would be proven right by Brazha more often than not.
- One would expect the very same to lack calmness, patience, and careful observation.
- One would be proven utterly wrong by Brazha more often than not, typically as patient as the earth, and alternating berserker fury with careful planning and watching.
- But all of the latter goes out of the window for this admittedly unfair clash.
- It's almost instant, the way she changes. Once talking calmly of staring into Jack's eyes and giving him some modicum of respect, and the next-
- The next she's howling, bellowing with berserker rage, screaming curses that would make even another Vanirhallan gasp in shock and cover their ears. Accusations of thievery, treachery, depravity, assault, murder. Truths, untruths, all mixed together in an endless slurry of a vocal onslaught, massively loud when projected by huge lungs and a huger chest.
- But that can hardly be the main focus for Jack, of course.
- She fights like a woman possessed, a mighty colossus bull-rushing and swinging that heavy great axe in swings that would fell trees effortlessly, bite deeply into the flesh of even vaster creatures than Brazha. It's clear her physical strength alone is massive, befitting her size and standing, but-
- What makes it all the more worse is that feeling, moment by moment, of having more of one's own being pulled into that golden vortex of an eye.
- But the titan doesn't fight alone. The very sands themselves rise and fall with each swing of the now-superheated axe, melting almost immediately upon contact with the immense, magmatic heat pouring from the cyclops' very being. Kin of Palthus and Champion of Garjling indeed, even in the depths of thievery-induced fury, the sands and molten glass alike seem to bend to her earthen will.
- When Jack himself doesn't utilise the same earthen magic, of course.
- Unrelenting. Monstrous. Wreathed in a cloud of brilliant golden embers. And bit by bit, with every bite of the axe, taking something from her chosen, unarmed foe.
- Perhaps in the end it's one of those great swings of the axe that lands the decisive blow, delivering inches of solid, superheated nyeshk and molten glass into Jack's side, enough to toss him to the floor.
- Howling obscenities and praise to whatever foul god- Garjling, of course -Brazha claims to worship, the once-calm titan begins to approach the fallen Jack once more.
- Of course, there's absolutely no way she's unscathed.
- (Brazha Earthcleaver)
- The eye that looked at him that wished to swallow him whole. Jack confronted it and rushed forward, each fist that was swung released either light or sound. The earth moving with the swing of his hands. His body being the only weapon he had on him, he used it to the best of it's capabilities or rather the best he could manage to draw from it.
- He enjoyed the battle. Every ounce of pain that coursed through his veins. The screams of pain that left him. The blood that left him only to pain the sand beneath him like a canvas. These feelings, this rush. He felt alive, for the first time in two years. He wanted to win and he fought with his all to live.
- Alas, this wasn't no fairy tale where he was the protagonist. No, Jack was merely a character apart of a much bigger picture. A much bigger story and when the final blow lands into his side. Breaking into his armor and cutting into skin. He stood there, resolved as if to see it all end right them and there. A partof him felt ready. He coughed up blood on the spot, his breathing was rushed but his legs held their ground, as if to allow for a clean blow.
- Yet they faltered, or rather a part of him faltered. A part of him was scared. His legs gave way and he was thrown to the side and landing on the shoreline. The seas crashed into his frame as if to clean his body one last time for what was to come, The finale.
- He coughed and groaned in pain. Stumbling, weak and tired. He tried to get back on his feet but simply couldn't. Just continued to slip and fall back into the sand. Futile resistance, desperation but even so--even if a part of him knew the cost of his actions. Knew the outcome of battle and knew what would be waiting for him at the end of the path he walked on.
- Even so....he clung to life, desperately, foolishly. A futile effort, surely but he continued. Slipping and falling in the water, groans of pain. Bawling and the sound of his body crashing into the waters over and over again. " ...Fuckin' d-do it already. Git it over! " his mouth said
- Save me, his heart begged.
- (Jack)
- The Archon slowly walked up to the scenery of ending battle, his gaze traversing between Brazha and Jack alike- there was a distinct glow in the crimson hues of his too, perhaps the Tempest was preparing himself for something.
- His gaze was mostly pertaining to looking at Jack, if only to promptly exclaim after he saw him on the ground, practically at Brazha's mercy.
- "That'd be enough, Vanirhallan. You do remember how far this extends."
- But before the woman could possibly react, the Archon commanded the energies of reality itself, raising Jack from the ground with telekinetic power- suspended in the air, he was an easy victim to finish off, and the glowing eyes carefully scanned the youth.
- Despite him being naught but a young adult, Zaruma held nothing back in punishing someone for their past deeds. Noting particular spots in his body to strike, he spoke.
- "If there's any god you believe in--"
- "Start praying."
- (Zaruma)
- It was a fair bit to take in at once.
- But, he'd gotten used to this over the years.
- "I see. You managed to do the one thing I failed at, and.." His gaze falls upon Lucan for a moment, looking for a certain change, a certain corruption within his soul-- something he didn't find within his knight.
- "...you managed to control the emotion, rather than let it control you. Wonderful." Somnus merely yawns. "I merely provided the path and information. This is a power you've earned, not one that I gave you--"
- Suddenly, he is overcome with the strangest sensation. Only one woman has ever had the audacity to put her mouth upon him in such a manner-- that woman being his wife.
- "Is she--" He looks down, only to find Raegan's teeth clamping down on a mouthful of fur. Thick, beefy, fur. His fur.
- (Somnus Illarian)
- Good morning, Crafthold!
- Eiphraem's expression as he emerges with a small rucksack folded into his arms is 'mildly perplexed'.
- The sonorous, deep throated but hoarse praises to Garjling are not recognized by the serpent directly, but the clatter as it comes to a halt, the power of the chaos mage hefting that young man into the air. Eiphraem's tail swishes, lightly- The usual crowd was out and in force, and his eyes flick over familiar faces. A wave is returned, a faint upturning of lips...
- Gone just as quickly, as a thought not for anyone else touches Zaruma's mind.
- (Eiphraem Kang)
- Eiphraem Kang whispers: Is he being put down? Is this a trade to the Vanirhallan?
- The match had been quite an interesting one to see. The human with one eye charging against the much smaller one colliding a burning axe against his skin searing and cutting the flesh from his body. The demon couldn't help but find some interest in the situation blood was being spilled flesh was being torn open the weak was being dominated by the stron and what was more for Xolminos? Screams beautiful and orchestrated simple yet a touch of desperation to them
- The sounds of pain the sensations of a warriors blade being seared across the flesh of another. This was important research for Xolminos if it wanted to create nightmares as vivid as actual pain it would first need to examine and observe what humans find the most painful and terrifying Nightmares.
- Watching the archon pull the boy into the air floating on just the archons will the demon got inspired far more than usual...this power to unfold reality to /break/ apart worlds this was another power Xol needed to gain the sensation was cold and filled with enough blackness to make even Xol shiver but in a way that only got it more excited.
- It would learn how to both Open worlds and break them apart both magics were necessary for its goals of becoming strongerness than all of the humans. It would gain much from watching the this death match and...soon to be execution. A cackle erupted from the demon as he watched the man prepare himself for death.
- " Ufufufu...."
- (Xolminos)
- "I haven't had what I paid for. Zaruma!"
- Indeed, a fight wasn't what the cyclops had come for- nor was the kill itself. Neither was what Brazha had desired to do herself nor intended to do, either.
- The grip of the titan's mighty right hand clenches around the superheated nyeshk, hefting it up over one shoulder. Sands still melt into golden glass underfoot, spreading out from the titan as the earth below struggles to keep her weight held up.
- Wreathed in golden embers and glass, she turns towards Zaruma.
- "The fight. Is just a side issue! I need my due!"
- (Brazha Earthcleaver)
- Zamara slowly appears beside Zaruma and folds her arms, her shadowflame quickly crawling over her body as she looks at Brazha.
- (Zamara)
- Dakashi gazed over to Jack from his little patch of grass, plasmatic energy flowing around his body, a golden arc of lightning hidden among the cloud of energized matter.
- He did not know Jack, he didn't much care for strangers, but there was the slightest bit of concern. Not for the man's life, it was honorable that his life be taken as was the grounds offered in attempts to escape, but for his death's delivery. It was no concern of his that the air was suffused with enough chaotic energy that one might wonder if such was the cause for so many Kaor evolutions.
- His eyes begin to show a spark of pale holy light shone from his body towards the man's own, prepared to ease his mind, though not his body, into death. Physical pain unto death was one thing, but cruel and unusual punishments that might bring the soul to suffer for the wrong doings of the body.. He would shoulder part of the man's anguish onto himself, but not prevent his passing.
- (Dakashi Hatayama)
- -- Somnus was handling the retarded.
- Turning upon the heel of his boot a sack of coins was plucked free from his coat as Somnus spoke. His affiliation with this poor, autistic child nowhere near anything Lucan even desired to handle. The sound of clanking boots beginning to scale down this wall being the only noise made as he marched right off.
- "... Oh, right. I spoke with Brazha and she wishes to fund your future projects, should you have dinner with her to discuss them." His words followed by a sharp nod, with a single glance up the cliff now back towards his Lord. The mention of what deals had been struck, what decisions had been reached for the most part brushed to the side for now.
- "We will discuss them at a later date, when you are not... Well..."
- Pausing, he would motion towards Raegan.
- (Lucan)
- "Greedy, are you not?"
- The telekinetic force lowers Jack, if only slightly- but certainly enough for Brazha to have her reach towards him. If there was a sign of annoyance coming from Zaruma, it's only because he would have to wait- a minor inconvenience, but oh well.
- "Carry on, then."
- "--And try to be done with it as quick as possible. I don't have whole day."
- Although, his gaze shifted to Eiphraem, choosing to respond in telepathy as well.
- (Zaruma)
- Greedy is one word for it- but in Brazha's mind, it's just a matter of getting her due, getting what was paid for.
- A fight could be found anywhere. But as far as Brazha's concerned, she had paid specifically to take out vengeance on a thief.
- Justice? Well, perhaps not in the minds of onlookers...
- For the very moment that Jack is lowered, Brazha's free hand reaches out to seize him by the back of the neck, her superheated gauntlet clenching tight around it, hand vast enough to seal all the way around as if his neck were merely a twig.
- A yank and a pull attempt to free him from Zaruma's telepathy, grip upon his neck too sturdy to snap it accidentally.
- But unfortunately, it proves to be a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire.
- The axe is discarded into golden glass without a second thought, even as the molten sand climbs bit by bit up soot-blackened plate. The howling and bellowing resumes in full force, up close now-
- "This is what. You deserve! This is what happens. When you take from me! Thief! Worm! Wretch!
- Agonise! Like Askiladd did! You did this to yourself. The moment you followed him! The moment you attacked my farmers!"
- It pours along the titan's arms as the now-free right hand reaches up, gripping onto clothes and armour and yanking with utterly monstrous strength in an attempt to tear it clean off. Any belongings, any valuables, torn from Jack just like the very piece of him that swirls within the vortex of Brazha's eye.
- But none of that is as pressing as the molten glass climbing from her metallic gauntlets and onto his bear flesh, golden and magmatically heated, swirling over increasingly bared flesh and crawling upwards onto his chin, his cheeks. .
- (Brazha Earthcleaver)
- Zaruma whispers: And what sort of benefit it brings to us, if Atl Chieftain would duel for him?
- Zaruma whispers: I do not understand.
- Lucan whispers: I do not understand.
- Dakashi Hatayama writes on a sheet of paper.
- Jack drops Animal Fur.
- Jack drops Painted Legs.
- Jack drops Coat.
- Jack drops Steel Chestplate.
- Eiphraem Kang whispers: Oh. He is planning on raising an army and being a problem. Every member of the Atl has admitted this so far.
- Jack drops Tyrium x2.
- Eiphraem Kang whispers: You did not know?
- Jack drops Orchilacum x2.
- Jack drops Torch.
- Jack drops Samurai Attire.
- Jack drops Pork x1.
- Jack drops Loose Pants.
- Jack drops Amber x1.
- Eiphraem Kang whispers: I intend to hit him until someone more convenient is chieftain of Atl.
- Jack drops Cigarette.
- Zaruma whispers: Ah. Right.
- "...my future projects? I don't consider war a project. What I do next is entirely dependent on how things turn out-- inside of Agartha's ruins. Let her know that after the war, and after my expedition...
- I'll have this dinner."
- Besides, there was a very real chance that he could die in the ruins, on in war.
- …
- When Raegan continues to chew upon his extremely furry ankle, there is no attempt to stop her. In most cases, he'd be more than irate about someone attempting to feast upon him. However- this is mildly amusing. After dealing with the damned, depraved, dull, and mentally retarded, things like this girl, and Randy...
- Provide amusement.
- That, and when she does manage to find some skin, it would feel as if she were chewing on a rock.
- (Somnus Illarian)
- Zamara banishes her aura
- (Zamara)
- The guardian ritual in this area has expired!
- You have left a Guardian Ritual: 15% flee roll penalty removed!
- Click, clack, what the fuck. Did the man actually have skin this rock solid...? Her teeth grind against the flesh once she finds it, aiming to leave scrapes, bruises, whatever else she could've in the wake of this new revelation. If she broke through the skin, then maybe, just maybe she'd be able to get to the soft, nougaty center that she craved.
- Or maybe she was wasting her time. Either way, there's brief jerking motions against the ankle, and an actual, audible growl of frustration as she finds herself incapable of getting to the beef that she wanted.
- Whereas he was amused, it seemed she was growing to become the irate one. It smelled! Like Beef! Why wasn't it soft and YIELDING like beef, too?! Rolling over onto her back, she'd try to show determination in the face of this, but... With a flop, she laid upon the ground at the man's feet. The sunglasses on her face had slanted diagonally, a disheveled look on her features as she lays upon the ground practically contemplating life and her own potency.
- (Raegan)
- Hearing Eiphraem's words within his mind, he exhaled- the power he wished to test for so long was pretty much denied to him, and instead, his urge to spill blood was left unsated. A pity.
- "Fine. He'll be yours to manage then, Eiphraem."
- "--Unless I find another use to him."
- On that note, Zaruma picked up, intending to float away- there was little other reason for him to stick around, especially considering that the kill was denied in favour of another activity.
- "Do make sure you draw proper use of his living, then. Farewell."
- (Zaruma)
- [ FIGHT WITH EMI ]
- The Archon was roaming about the plains of Ardent- perhaps going as far as to wandering into mountain area. 'Wasn't that a bit too far, though?
- But he didn't care. For all he knew, his kill was previously denied, the one that he so rightfully earned through the captures of Ardent forces- and yet, he could not lay his hands upon Jack's body, if only to snuff the life out of them.
- Yet, in his roam, he had the luck to stumble upon Emi- unfortunately for her, the Archon was rather bloodthirsty, fuelled with Chaos Arcane energies.
- "--Oh. I think... I have seen you before, in Ardent."
- "You shall sate my hunger."
- The crimson in his eyes sparked, running over her body, if only to see the spots where he shall strike.
- Perhaps, it would be the last that Kitsune will see.
- (Zaruma)
- Emi Fujiko says, "Perhaps. Perhaps not."
- Emi Fujiko says, "The odds are certainly not in my favour."
- Surprisingly, the Kitsune has managed to put up a fight that the Archon could not foresee- her fires and illusions have worked his body and mind alike to the point that he could not properly resist her, showing the vulnerable side of the Archon. For as long as one keeps him at bay properly? He would fall to the mercy of mage.
- But feeling his limits being pushed like this, feeling that her magics were taking the best of him, he knew that he could not lose now. For the Lord of Aetherius to die here, in this snowy desert, in the middle of nowhere? No. No, it can't happen.
- Feeling the fire burn across his skin, he knew that he had to tap into Arcane energies that fuelled his body- finding resolve in his rage, Zaruma's eyes were sparkling bright crimson, enough to fell a foe with a single gaze.
- And formidable magi? To make them a subject of powerful strikes.
- Before Emi could respond, he neared right at her, oft becoming the embodiment of wind itself, of Tempest, with his newfound technique- she had little to no escape once he truly set himself on chasing her, and that was her undoing.
- "You will-- not succeed in killing me, the Lord of Agartha."
- Finding a vulnerable spot in her body, she was suddenly struck down with overwhelming strength. It would possibly be enough to fell the titans, and for magi like her? Enough to end her.
- The crimson was spilled. The snow was slightly melting under the warmth of her blood.
- Emi's life was leaking out of her wound. The Archon had proven too much adversary for her, even if she fought rather effectively for someone of her league.
- "And you will not live to see tomorrow."
- With the bright glow in his eyes, he found another weak spot, right at her heart- the blade was driven in her flesh, piercing any vital organs that may have kept her alive at this point.
- Emi fell, and she was no more.
