  2. Any% Cake Contest Notes (Stolen Milker+Mineral/Chicken route)
  3. [Updated 11 Feb 2026]
  4.
  5. CARPENTER MINERALS
  6. - Blue Rock: 90G
  7. - Rare Metal: 180G
  8. - Copper Ore: 40G
  9. - Iron Ore: 60G
  10. - Limestone: 40G
  11.
  12. LOUIS MINERALS
  13. - Moonlight Stone: 100G
  14. - Rare Metal: 180G
  15. - Iron Ore: 60G
  16. - Copper Ore: 40G
  17. - Pontata Root: 80G
  18. - Medicinal Herb: 30G
  19.
  20. MONEY BREAKDOWN
  21. - You are short 610G before considering minerals, Herbs/MHs (+10G/+30G each), bonus eggs (+50G each on Summer 2 and Summer 3), any extra Golden Eggs (-50G each), and flex berries (+150G).
  22. - "Flex berries" refers to the 5 CBs and 5 VBs you can forage at the Goddess pond after giving Katie the magic book at the end of the day on Summer 28. Because you are waiting for 5am to set up the town load storage anyway, this only loses time on the two extra loading zones, as well as a little extra time waiting for Ronald's shop to open on your way up to buy the cow on Summer 29. However, it doesn't cost an extra shop, since you can either sell the berries on Summer 28 (no flex) or Summer 29 (flex). It's a good strat if you got bad luck or just for marathon safety.

  44.
  45. - Goddess Questions: NEGATIVE
  46. - Spring 2: Sleep until Spring 23
  47. - Spring 23:
  48. > Mine until out of stamina; ideally you get minerals worth at least 200G
  49. > While foraging, grab Herbs/MHs if they are directly on your path, but don't go out of the way for them
  50. > Forage order: carpenter's (VB), lake (BB); reset if you didn't get a weed for Katie
  51. > Weed intro+gift Katie (VB) inside the cafe
  52. > Exit/re-enter the cafe to trigger CS1
  53. > Re-enter the cafe after the CS and show Katie the weed 7 times before leaving (toss the weed)
  54. > Ronald's: Sell all VB, buy 3 eggs (sell BBs instead of VBs if you didn't get at least 1 gold coin while mining)
  55. > Incubate an egg and sleep until Spring 26
  56. > GET THE RECIPE!!!
  57. - Spring 26:
  58. > Hatch egg, incubate another, and put the chick outside
  59. > Sleep until Spring 29
  60. - Spring 29:
  61. > Hatch egg, incubate another, and put the chick outside
  62. > Sleep until Summer 4
  63. > Summer 2/3 can be used to get 1 egg each; you can choose to grab them or skip them depending on MH/mineral luck and your desired level of YOLO
  64. - Summer 4:
  65. > Grab 1 egg
  66. > Hatch egg and bring chick outside
  67. > Do chicken escape and spam Gina 49 times
  68. > Put the chick back on the farm
  69. > Sleep until Summer 26
  70. - Summer 26: Grab eggs
  71. - Summer 27: Grab eggs
  72. - Summer 28 (part 1):
  73. > Grab eggs; if you didn't get a Golden Egg over the last three days, reset
  74. > Grab Herbs and MHs freely on the carpenter/lake forage, as you have plenty of time before the cafe opens
  75. > Forage order: carpenter's (VB, MD) and lake (PC, MD, BB)
  76. > Enter the cafe at NOON SHARP for CS2, SELL EGGS, then head to the Villa
  77. > Enter Villa to trigger CS4 (can grab Herb/MH if you see one to the left of the Villa door)
  78. > Sell at Flower Shop (MD, PC, Herb)
  79. > Sell at Tool Shop if you have any MHs or Louis-only minerals
  80. > Sell at Ronald's if no flex berries (VB, CB, BB); otherwise, just sell all on Summer 29 when you would sell flex berries
  81. > Enter cafe by 5pm for cutscene
  82. - Summer 28 (part 2):
  83. > Consider grabbing the flex berries if you got bad mineral/Herb/MH/Golden Egg luck
  84. > If you are doing flex berries, mine on the Blue Mist square to conserve fatigue
  85. > Grab regular Herbs if you see them, but these are just a backup in case you barely miss the required money
  86. > Head back to the farm
  87. > If you didn't do flex berries and are mining at the farm, be careful not to use the hoe any more than 34 times after sundown (when music stops), or else you will catch a cold the next day (35 swings = 70 fatigue, so 34 swings is safe)
  88. > During this second round of mining, you can't use Moonlight Stone or Pontata Root, as they are Louis-only minerals and he is closed on Summer 29
  89. > Once you're done mining, if you've met the money reqs, get into position to store the town load
  90. > The "cricket" sounds will stop at midnight; whistle (L1/L2) at ~2m08s after midnight to store the load (can pause "buffer" as necessary for safety, but this loses time)
  91. > The pocketing animation is a little bit longer than the whistle animation, so pocketing is a little safer even though it's technically slower (since you briefly stop the clock to pull out an item)
  92. - Summer 29:
  93. > Make note of the weather--sunny or cloudy?
  94. > Sell minerals to Woody
  95. > Talk Katie at the lake
  96. > Sell berries to Ronald if you got flex berries
  97. > Head to Brownie Farm, sell 3 chickens, and buy a cow
  98. > Start PTW, then do PTW escape (whistle)
  99. > Back on the farm, put the cow out to pasture
  100. > If the current weather is sunny, sleep until Winter 6; if cloudy, sleep until Winter 7
  101. > On the last sleep, save, quit, and reload (this is necessary to reset the PTW flag; otherwise your cow will only produce Milk S)
  102. - Winter:
  103. > Dry season ends on Winter 7, so YOLO!!!
  104. - Once you have Golden Milk:
  105. > Give Golden Egg and Golden Milk to Katie outside the cafe on a non-rainy non-Monday
  106. > Enter/exit/re-enter the cafe at noon (~45s after the door closes behind her) until the successful cake cutscene
  107. > Head home, sleep a week, and exit the house to finish the ending
  108. > Mondays are Winter 9/16
