BACKGROUND :°  Shin Jaehwa was born in Seoul in an standerd family. Her parents were both in their mid thirties when they gave birth to their first and only child, Jaehwa. The girl used to cry a lot when she was younger, mostly to get her parents' attention since they were always too busy to pay attention to her. She used to do anything to be able to get her parents attention but it would barely work since they were too set about their work.
°  Since Jaehwa's parents didn't have too much time to take care of their child, Jaehwa grew up with a nanny who treated her with a lot of love and care because she felt sympathetic towards the child. Her nanny was a lot younger than her parents and was able to take care of Jaehwa a lot better. The child absolutely hated her nanny at first since she despised the thought of not being able to see her parents as much but eventually in a few weeks the child grew to love her nanny. Her nanny, Kim Minah, gave her full attention to Jaehwa, making the girl pleased. Minah even taught the girl that screaming and breaking things wasn't a good way to get her parents attention. Then, Jaehwa realized her loud and destructive personality wasn't necessary. Minah told Jaehwa to study hard and get incredible results at school or even find a talent to impress her parents, that way, maybe their attention would go back to Jaehwa
°  That was how Jaehwa grew up with a more quiet personality. She would study as much as she could to get impressive grades and she even picked up a hobby when she started middle school. Cooking.
°  Cooking was how she earned her mother's attention in a good way. Her mother used to enjoy cooking just as much as Jaehwa when she was younger. She had even taught Jaehwa a few recipes making the girl take a deeper interest in cooking. When she received received her mother's love, she was motivated to make her parents proud by becoming an incredible chef.
°  At the end of Jaehwa's high school years, when she turned eighteen the girl decided to buy an apartment for herself near the college she had gotten accepted into. While she was walking around the city, one day, to buy some furniture for her apartment, the girl saw an advertisement metioning that Kang Towers was looking for a new chef. That, indeed, made Jaehwa excited as her love for cooking was irreplaceable. The college she got accepted into was rather near the Kang Towers and her apartment as well, so, Jaehwa decided to apply for the job. When Jaehwa got the spot as one of the chefs, it made her beyond happy and she wrote down her happiness in her journal she still had from years back.

PERSONALITY :
°  If there was one word to describe Jaehwa, it would be enigmatic. The girl's personality is very confusing as she acts different around each person, depending on their personality, but mostly, she's a pretty quiet girl. She usually keeps things to herself, given that she grew up with parents who didn't really have time to listen to her problems, she learned how to keep everything to herself, all her problems, negative emotions and positive emotions. There were a few times the girl felt uncomfortable not sharing how she felt with somebody so she decided to write it all down in a notebook, deciding to make that her journal so that whenever she felt an extreme emotion, she could write it down and feel much better.
°  In high school, Jaehwa noticed a new side to her personality, which was her savageness. She realized how much watching a lot of English TV Shows influenced her personality. She learned a lot of savage catch phrases which she used whenever somebody she disliked talked to her. Anyone who even slightly annoys her goes to her bad side right away and that's also one of the bad things about her personality. Despite her savageness to people she doesn't like, she is extremely nice to people she does like or doesn't hate.
°  Jaehwa is usually very calm but if anyone makes her angry, it would sound like hell broke loose. Jaehwa would yell her heart out, she wouldn't cry but she would scream so much she would have a sore throat the next day. The people who see Jaehwa get angry will be scarred for life. So far she has only ever gotten angry two times in her life but those two times taught MANY people messing with her was a horrible idea.
°  Jaehwa gets fairly good grades at school in consideration of the fact that she studies for almost two hours every single day. The girl hates failing with a passion and feels extremely disappointed when she fails anything at all. Jaehwa is a bit of a perfectionist and a very organized person so whenever she has nothing much to do and she isn't feeling sleepy, she'd spend the rest of the re-organizing her entire house.
°  Jaehwa also has bad eyesight, but, she refuses to wear glasses since she thinks they're "annoying" and that's not all, she hardly even wears contacts because she finds them scary so she sometimes is caught squinting at people, making it look like a glare, which really scares people most of the time, especially since she has a bitchy look.

▪ Jaehwa first started loving cooking thanks to a cooking show she saw on TV, she found the way the chefs cooked so cool she felt like giving it a try herself and surprisingly, she did pretty well which motivated her to continue cooking.
▪ She likes to paint whatever is on her mind. She never took classes, which explains why she's not any good at it, but it makes her feel relaxed and helps her get rid of negative emotions in her head.
▪ She doesn't have many friends but she knows almost everyone who works at Kang Towers who is around her age.
▪ Her idea of the perfect weather is light, but long lasting, rain during winter night.
▪ Jaehwa has eight piercings on her ears in total, a lobe, an upper lobe, a helix and an outter conch piercing on each ear.
▪ She likes to wear neutral colours, her wardrobe consists of only black, grey, white or light blue clothes.
▪ She also likes to wear cutesy socks rather than plain socks [cough she has one pair of a cartoon song joongki].
▪ She's also pretty short [160cm] which she's okay with since it makes her looks less intimidating.
▪ Jaehwa has a lot of fears but one of the main ones are her fear of heights and her fear of flights.
▪ She owns a lot of stuffed toys and they're all placed around her room [Her favourite one is a squirtle plush she named Mandu].
▪ She has a very low tolerance for pain.
▪ One of the times she got angry was in highschool when a [fuck]boy wouldn't leave her alone so she screamed and yelled at him to be shameful and understand what "no" means. Meaningless to say, he never bothered her again and neither did anyone who was nearby when that happened.
▪ The other time was when her parents when she got frustrated by them telling her that she couldn't live alone just yet. It really shocked her parents, they hadn't heard her yell so loud since she was a little girl.

OPINION ON JOB : Jaehwa honestly loves her job to bits. Everything about her job is perfect. She gets to stay behind the closed doors which means she wouldn't need to communicate with strangers and fake a smile. The inside of the kitchen was also relatively quiet which meant she could concentrate on her work without having any noise interupt her. As for her customer service skills, if she ever had to communicate with the guests, it would go horrible. She would be a stuttering mess not knowing what to say. Also if the guests were a bit too annoying, her sarcastic and savage side would creep out, making her look extremely rude and giving the Kang Towers a bad reputation. Good thing she doesn't need to interact with the guests right?

HIS PERSONALITY :
°  Taeil has a personality which is very similar to Jaehwa's. The boy isn't as quiet as Jaehwa but still doesn't talk too much. He, also like Jaehwa, doesn't open up much to his friends either. It's not that he doesn't want to though, the boy just doesn't know how to. Taeil's usually very awkward when he's not around his friends, he never knows how to start a conversation with anyone. He looks like a very nice person, and he is, but he's also pretty quiet and will sometimes ignore someone if he really doesn't like them. He doesn't have the heart to say something mean to them so he would just ignore them to let them know that he doesn't want to talk to them.
°  Even though Taeil loves to sing, he isn't sure that he will be able to make a career out of it, so he decided to try finding a job in something else he thought he had a talent in, which turned out to be cooking. Taeil didn't cook very often, but when he did, people would always praise his skills so he decided to try out being a chef. He applied for the job in Kang Towers expecting it to be easy but the orders were a lot more complicated than he thought they would be and Taeil usually feels awkward asking people what to do, so he always goes to the trustworthy, Shin Jaehwa.

HOW YOU ACT AROUND HIM :
°  When Jaehwa first saw Taeil, she looked at him with annoyance written all over her face. By his looks, she expected him to be the type of person to talk a lot and ask her a lot of questions, and those were the type of people she honestly found irritating. [It wasn't really their fault though, she just really couldn't stand them] When her manager told her to start training Taeil, she felt truly annoyed. She was really irritated by the thought that she needed to talk to him and that she couldn't just quietly do her own work. Soon, though, she started to change her mind about Taeil since the boy only asked her questions on the first day, afterwards, he started to do his work on his own, the only thing he asked the girl was whether or not the food he made tasted good. Jaehwa gave him honest responses everytime and his reaction when she told him it tasted bad made the girl eye smile the for first time in a while.
°  Eventually, Jaehwa starts to fall for Taeil thanks to his cute habits while cooking. She observed him [not in a creepy way] whenever he cooked and she found him incredibly adorable. She started wanting to hang out with Taeil a lot more frequently and would usually ask him if he wanted to go out for coffee early in the morning. She realizes she might have a crush on Taeil and decides to write it all down in her journal which ends up in her writing around four pages only ranting about how adorable Taeil is. Her personality seemed to change a lot when she was with Taeil. She was a lot less savage and sarcastic and she even started to smile a lot more. That was when she knew she was whipped.

HOW HE ACTS AROUND YOU :
°  In all honesty, when Taeil very first saw Jaehwa, he found her scary particularly because of her cold looks. She seemed like a real bitch to him and even acted like one on the first day. Heck, Taeil was so scared of her to the point where he thought about quitting the job after the first day, but, of course, he didn't really quit. On the second day Jaehwa seemed much more chill with him. She didn't roll her eyes at all and didn't reply with sarcasm either. Taeil started to think maybe the day before was just a bad day for her and that she wasn't such a bad person after all. When the girl smiled at Taeil, his heart fluttered a bit because of how precious it looked.
°  In due course, Taeil also starts to realize that he has a slight crush on Jaehwa. He found her personality extremely precious and especially loved the way she smiled. Her smiles were rare but precious which made Taeil love them. He even tried his best to make her smile more, even if it was bad jokes or cheesy pickup lines, or simply just telling her she looked cute or pretty. He knew he really loved her when he answered her texts early in the morning. Taeil, unlike Jaehwa, wasn't a morning person at all and always woke up late, but when he woke up right when he received a text from Jaehwa made him realize how hard he fell for her.

RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA :
▪ Taeil would sometimes unknowingly start singing softly while cooking [which Jaehwa finds extremely adorable]. He'd also hum a little bit while concentrating on cutting the food and Jaehwa would tease him about it afterwards.
▪ The two aren't about the pda but cuddling while watching movies at home is a 100% for them.
▪ Taeil has a weird habit of squishing Jaehwa's face. Everytime she asks him to stop he'd say. "But you're so cuuute," in a weird voice, making the girl groan in annoyance [she secretly loved it though].
▪ Jaehwa loves to listen to Taeil sing so sometimes, she'd ask him to sing her to sleep.
▪ Instead of going on coffee dates or restaurant dates, the two go on a late night walk in the park dates or study dates more often.
▪ Taeil gets slightly protective over the girl [he may or may not have looked through her journal while she was taking a shower whoops]. He always asks her how her day was or how she feels because he wants her to know he really cares about her.
▪ Jaehwa just smiling a lot more when she's with Taeil.
▪ Taeil also really loved Jaehwa's piercings and would always play with her ear.
▪ Jaehwa would suggest karaoke dates almost every weekend just so she could listen to Taeil sing.

SUGGESTED SCENES :
♢ When is starts to rain heavily after work neither Taeil nor Jaehwa have an umbrella so they both make a run for Jaehwa's house where Taeil stays at for the night. Jaehwa owns a lot of oversized clothes so she borrowed Taeil one of her black hoodies [which fit him perfectly].
♢ Where it's one of the other character's break time so theu comes over to the kitchen and ask Jaehwa to make them something to eat food because they feels very hungry and didn't have anything to eat the entire day. If it was any other day, Jaehwa would've said no, but she was in a nice mood that day and there was nobody in the restaurant at that time, so she decided to make them something.
♢ It was quiet in the kitchen while Jaehwa was working on cutting some vegetables when suddenly somebody dropped an empty pot on the ground, making a sudden sound which scared Jaehwa and caused her to accidentally cut her finger. Of course, the girl swore extremely loudly [which the guests in the restaurant could hear whoops] and she continued to swear over and over again while Taeil treated the girl's finger with the first aid kit in the kitchen.
