@Lavira_Dyenus: I walk to the door leading to the room with the lava pit and peer inside, examining the room in more depth
being careful not to touch the trapped doorknob of course

Johnny: "this is very skyward sword, you fought a pirate here right?"

@Lavira_Dyenus: "I don't know what skyward sword is, but I fought a fencer"

@Lavira_Dyenus: "he was wielding the rapier that I tried showing you"

Johnny: "close enough, it's a game where you have one to one sword motion control"

S: It's a room with lava at the bottom and a bridge going across to the other side

Johnny: "oh yeah the demon one, yeah keep it away from me so I don't accidentally free it with some wind"

@Lavira_Dyenus: "Will do"

Johnny: "okay, door on the other side now?"

@Lavira_Dyenus: "Not yet, we should see what's on the other end of the room"

==JOHNNY AND LAVIRA CROSS THE BRIDGE TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM==

S: Anyway, you guys find yourself on a half-cave plateau thingy with machines and stuff

DocJohnny: this is new

Lavira_Dyenus: I go to examine the machines

S: The machines look kind of old and run down, but they're clearly meant to do something magical

Lavira_Dyenus: "In the meanwhile, I'll check out the rest of the room and then come and help"

Lavira_Dyenus: I head back across the bridge to the circular room, beckoning for johnny to follow

Lavira_Dyenus: I continue to the circular room and try opening the last unchecked door, directly across from where we first entered the room from

S: The door on the north is unlocked. Who's opening it again?

Lavira_Dyenus: me

DocJohnny: "be careful"

Lavira_Dyenus: "Will do"

Lavira_Dyenus: I open the door more slowly and carefully

S: You open the door, and fall into MY CLEVERLY DISGUISED TRAP!

S: Take one damage as the doorknob pricks you with a needle.

Lavira_Dyenus: "well..."

S: Anyway, the room beyond is a pretty big cavern, a small island in the center of a pool that gleams red and yellow

DocJohnny: "you okay?"

Lavira_Dyenus: "I think the doorknobs might be trapped in general"

Lavira_Dyenus: "let's avoid touching them in the future"

S: The rocks composing the walls and ceiling glow a bright orange, clearly superheated.

S: I'd think twice before touching them.

DocJohnny: "yeah, but are you okay?"

Lavira_Dyenus: "I'm fine, this is the smallest scratch possible"

DocJohnny: "good, glad you're safe"

Lavira_Dyenus: "More importantly, this room seems to be rather dangerous"

Lavira_Dyenus: I walk over to a few feet from the edge of the glowing pool

DocJohnny: "yep, fly over it?"

Lavira_Dyenus: "Yes, it'd be best if you fly over, but be careful"

Lavira_Dyenus: "Float a few feet mid-air and try to observe anything you can about the island"

Lavira_Dyenus: "We need to be careful"

DocJohnny: "one sec," Doc types away a text and then hands Lavira the Breath Cloak "G asks to give it back as soon as you're done with itt so let's keep it just for you flying k?"

Lavira_Dyenus: "Thank you very much. This should make things much easier"

Lavira_Dyenus: I equip the breath cloak

DocJohnny: "you look good in it!"

Lavira_Dyenus: "Thanks"

Lavira_Dyenus: I use the breath cloak to float above the island and examine it for anything peculiar that would suggest any traps
