- Bonkers character concept: I suggest Bonkers a semi clone of Dedede, much like how Isabelle is a semi clone of Villager. Much like both Dedede and the Hammer Ability, Bonkers is focused on doing disgusting amounts of damage.
- Jab:
- Same as Dedede’s.
- Dash Attack:
- Forward Tilt: Hammer Nail.
- Bonkers smashes the ground directly in front of him, with a bury sweetspot much like K.Rools Down Tilt.
- (Inspired by the neutral attack of the Hammer Ability)
- Down Tilt:
- Bonkers quickly swings his hammer downwards. Is powerful at the tip and can trip up close.
- Up Tilt:
- Bonkers thrusts the top of his hammer upwards, much like Meta Knights up tilt.
- Up Air:
- Same as Dedede’s.
- Neutral Air:
- Forward Air:
- Same as Dedede’s. But more powerful to compensate for Bonkers’s recovery making it more risky offstage.
- Back Air:
- Same as Dedede’s. But more powerful to compensate for Bonkers’s recovery making it more risky offstage.
- Down Air:
- Same as Dedede’s. But more powerful to compensate for Bonkers’s recovery making it more risky offstage.
- Forward Smash:
- Same as Dedede’s
- Down Smash:
- Same as Dedede’s
- Up Smash:
- Same as Dedede’s
- Neutral Special:
- Down Special:
- Same as Dedede’s.
- Side Special: Coconut Bombs.
- Bonkers tosses his signature coconut bombs out much like how Dedede throws out his Gordos. The angle of the bomb can be adjusted just like the Gordos; and if you hold the button instead of pressing it, Bonkers will throw out 3 bombs instead of one, at the cost of the attack taking longer to preform.
- Up Special: Bluster Hammer Twirl.
- Bonkers points his hammer downwards and twirls it, creating gust of wind below him, propelling him upwards slightly. (About as much as the Belmonts Up Special)
- (Based off the Hammer Twirl when equipped with the wind element in Kirby Star Allies)
- Grab:
- Same as Dedede’s.
- Pummel:
- Same as Dedede’s.
- Forward Throw:
- Same as Dedede’s.
- Back Throw:
- Same as Dedede’s.
- Up Throw:
- Same as Dedede’s.
- Down Throw:
- Throws the opponent down and stomps them. Effectively the same as Dedede’s.
- Final Smash: Grand Hammer
- Bonkers becomes Super Bonkers from Kirby’s Return to Dreamland, and swings in front of him. Any opponents who are caught in it are transitioned to a cutscene. This shows the opponent in the tower level from Kirby’s Return to Dreamland as Bonkers slams down the golden Grand Hammer onto them. This sends the opponent straight upwards.
- Taunt 1:
- Bonkers jumps in place twice.
