- Your abdomen is wracked with wave like contractions.
- "Oh shit." Matilde cries out, grabbing her belly and doubling over. "I think
- the baby is coming"
- Torsten wakes up.
- "...Right now?" Severyna asks Matilde, her eyes going wide from behind her
- sunglasses, "Um... what do you need? The hospital, yes?"
- (Subtly) "Uhhhh." Torsten says, peering from Matilde to Severyna and back.
- Your iPhone SE in space grey vibrates.
- (Subtly) "Bit of a terrible time to go to the hospital, I'm going to say."
- Torsten mutters, looking from Severyna to Matilde.
- Matilde is looking slightly distressed, there's a puddle of fluid on the
- floor beneath her where her waters broke and she's rubbing her belly "Uh huh,"
- she confirms to Severyna "It's time."
- (Subtly) "It just -had- to be now." Torsten grumbles at Matilde. "You asked
- for this. Couldn't handle it not being on your birthday."
- Severyna strides over to Matilde quickly, standing alongside her and
- tentatively reaching her hand out, "She needs a hospital. Unless you know a
- doula."
- (Subtly) "I didn't think it would actually -happen-" Matilde gripes,
- groaning softly and beginning to fret

- She is in the late stages of pregnancy. You can see her face, neck, top of her

- "And we should be fine." Severyna notes further to Torsten, peering down at
- herself momentarily.
- (Subtly) "Yea. I get it." Torsten tells Severyna, sliding over opposite her
- on the other side of Matilde. "We're going to have to like...really be careful.
- I think with sanctuary dropped, everyone's going to go straight to murdering
- the fuck out of each other and we need to be ready."
- Torsten blinks a little, peering down at himself.
- Your abdomen is wracked with wave like contractions.
- "My car is back at the club, are you going to make me ride on the back of
- your bi...fuck!" Matilde grunts as anotehr contraction hits her
- "She is in no condition to drive - or ride on the back of a motorcycle."
- Severyna mentions to Torsten.
- "It's back now." Matilde reassures Torsten, taking a moment to breathe deeply
- "So what, walk her a mile through the woods?" Torsten asks Severyna, with a
- blink.
- Your abdomen is wracked with wave like contractions.
- "Fuck I'll sit sideways on the back of the bike." offers Matilde, starting
- to stress now as another contraction hits "Please."
- "...I don't know." Severyna laments to Torsten, finally placing a hand on
- Matilde's back to rub in a soothing circle. "I don't know what to... do here."
- she admits.
- "Let's go." Torsten grunts, motioning for Matilde.

- "We'll take her to the hospital." Torsten tells Severyna. "Let her get this
- baby out of her. Troublesome thing." He snorts out a breath as he heads for the
- ladder.
- "I'll meet you there, then." Severyna mentions to Torsten as she follows.
- Torsten nods to Severyna. "Fly."
- Severyna says, in a soft-spoken, Norwegian accented voice, "Yes, I know."

- Your abdomen is wracked with wave like contractions.
- "By Odin's beard, do not spread your legs to my back, Mata!" Torsten tells
- Matilde as he flies down the forest with her on the back.
- "Everything will be fine." Matilde tries to reassure herself as she gently
- rubs at another contraction striing her belly.

- The glow of old street lights spills onto the pavement.
- This area seems well populated.
- Smooth asphalt roads continue through this part of town, bordered on
- either side by well maintained concrete sidewalks. Where the street is
- widest small median islands appear with old twisted trees planted in them.
- The buildings that line the street seem quaint, but well maintained.
- Torsten guides Matilde along through the northern area slowly.
- Torsten walks away and to the left.

- Marcul feels like saying congratulations...?
- Torsten is trying to find out if he should be rolling across a hospital
- floor to catch a fumbled football in the redzone.
- Marcul holds his hands up and goes long.
- Aside from the blood and gore that must surely now be smearing the hospital
- corridor, Matilde seems less panicked the baby, which must have been caught by
- at least one of the men, if not both has been settled into her arms and she's
- busy cooing over her new daughter while staff would probably be doing the
- appropriate cord cutting and blanket business
- "It is a good thing you didn't come out with hair on your chest like Aunty
- Rachel suggested." Matilde coos to the tiny human creature thing in her arms
- Severyna gracefully sways in from behind you.
- Torsten definitely slid and caught Matilde's baby, from between her legs,
- before that soft dome could crack off the floor. He's probably had his hands
- dug in worst things. Marcul might have assisted for that, but he does indeed
- rather quickly pass that to Matilde.
- "...That usually happens in a hospital room, no?" Severyna chimes quietly,
- her eyes going wide behind her sunglasses as she steps into the emergency room
- just in time for... that.
- Torsten turns and tries nonchalantly to wipe his hands off on Marcul, bonded
- by something else's birthing fluids.
- "I was just trying to explain to the nurse." Matilde pants out, still
- slightly in shock from events as she rocks her baby
- After the child is handed over to Matilde's arms, Marcul stands aside for
- the nurses to do their work. He has a big smile on his face and makes a move to
- stand beside Torsten, "They never go as planned, but they come out just the way
- they should. Look at her..." He gestures towards the new mother, "Matilde,
- Radiant Woman, with... she does not have a name chosen yet, but in time it will
- come." He lets out a chuckle at Torsten wiping his hands and doesn't look
- offended, "I do not know you, but I think I should, my name is Marcul." He
- offers out a hand after wiping it on Torsten like some bonding exercise for a
- shake afterwards.
- Severyna closes the distance between herself and Matilde to peer down at the
- newborn girl, a faint smile on her face. "She's beautiful. Congratulations,
- Mata."
- Torsten takes Marcul's hand and gives him a solid shake, nodding and looking
- over to Matilde. "She's a lovely lady. Truly one of a kind. Babies are little
- fragile things." He blows out a breath. "She sure picked a place to have one
- though." He winces. "Not the floor, I mean. Like, Haven in general." Attention
- on Severyna and Matilde still yet, he offers to Marcul, "Name's Torsten. I
- don't know who you are, but I've decided I like you."
- Torsten waves a hand. "I know your name, that is. Just not like, what you
- do, and so forth."
- "We were sure you'd be a boy." Matilde tells her new daughter, reaching over
- to sooth a hand to the newborn's brow, she looks up, flashing a tired smile to
- sev and tells her "Thank you"
- Marcul gives a firm handshake to Torsten and look the man in the eye before
- releasing his hand. He turns with a lifted hand to clap him on the back as he
- looks over Matilde and the newborn, "Lovely, with a beautiful blessing. Babies
- are fragile, but grow into strength for us all." He takes a few moments of
- consideration while he watches the tired mother hold her child, turning aside
- to Torsten, "I have heard your name before, and I work at the institute,
- Matilde has spoken of you, Torsten, Baby Catcher."
