  1. 1) There are so many .pdfs here http://boards.4chan.org/tg/thread/45543744/5eg-dd-5e-general idr how many you actually need but this is Way Too Many good lord, ok just...just take the rulebooks from https://mega.nz/#F!UVkTnT5b!FJ34UZ98BMY2mEtexenS7g!sQ1BjRqR here and maybe look at the character sheets if you want, talk with the gm about what is/n't allowed and go from there...
  2.
  3. 2) For a handy, auto-filling excel file with Lots of info and details, with handy drop-down lists for most things so you don't have to type it all yourself, download the most up to date version from here http://www.enworld.org/forum/rpgdownloads.php?do=download&downloadid=1234 and maybe take the character example sheet
  4.
  5. 3) Go here: http://pastebin.com/m8KUVpQB and click to Clone the paste and then edit to have a handy, quick, and easily editable character template for yourself \o/ yay!
  6.
  7. 4) You can read some cool shit about dragonborn and their lore here http://files.meetup.com/14128332/Player's%20Handbook%20Races%20-%20Dragonborn.pdf but that's 4e so don't actually use the feats and skills there without lots of talking with the gm and still probably not
  8.
  9. 5) This is a really, really basic character builder http://www.orcpub.com/dungeons-and-dragons/5th-edition/character/generator/1455918503556 that's missing a lot of options and spells, but it's useful for basics, plus things like the easily-searchable spell list http://www.orcpub.com/dungeons-and-dragons/5th-edition/spells are really useful
  10.
  11. 6) Feel free to look up what words mean here http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page and/or on here http://engl393-dnd5th.wikia.com/wiki/D%26D_5th_Edition_Wiki
