  1. The Nutshack Rap Locus Equation
  2.
  3. n = 19.048, Where n is the Nutshack Number; the approximate starting point of the Nutshack Rap where all instances of the word "Nutshack" have been removed from the song.
  4. i = 13, Where i is the number of times the word "Nutshack" is said before the rap starts.
  5. x = variable, Where x is the duration of any sub-video which replaces the word "Nutshack" in the video.
  6. l = (x * i) + n, Where l is the Locus of the Rap's starting point in the song where "Nutshack" has been replaced with any video with the length of x.
  7.
  8. l = xi+n
  9. n = l-xi
  10. x = (l-n)/i
  11. i = (l-n)/x
  12.
  13. Locus = (Replacement Length x 13) + Nutshack Number
  14. Nutshack Number = Locus - (Variable x 13)
  15. Variable = (Locus - Nutshack Number) / 13
  16. 13 = (Locus - Nutshack Number) / Variable
  17.

  19. DEMONSTRATION:
  20. Say we have a Nutshack Video with a duration of 30 seconds...
  21. x = 30
  22. n = 19.048
  23. i = 13
  24. l = (30 * 13) + 19.048
  25. l = [360] + 19.048
  26. l = 379.048
  27.
  28. Here, we see that the Nutshack Rap begins at 379.048 seconds. You will be examined on remembering the values of n and i.
  29. The AQA / EDEXCEL A-Level papers on memeology will not give you these exact measurements anywhere on the booklet, nor will they give you the equation for l.
  30. If l is calculated in an exam with 100% accuracy, or even slight deviation, you will receive full marks if you put down your working out.
  31. Failure to leave working out written for the examiner will result in a loss of up to 4 marks on a 7 mark question. If your worked out equation is wrong, you will lose all of your marks for that question.
  32. If the Variable fluctuates; i.e: A different video is played per "Nutshack", then the variable i will not be static; you will be expected to rework your equations to make up for this imbalance multiple times in an exam.
