- Hello there The_Pandanator, This is your Initiate review….
- I would like to first state that this review does not mean you’re a bad builder or that I am going to hard on you. There are just a few things that could be worked on before you rank up. Also, do not be scared by how much I write. I would just like to explain to very well so you can rank up the next time you submit. <3
- Structure:
- This is anything from houses to towers to castles. You have a structure, but it needs some depth. Depth is the layers within a structure that makes it more realistic. You can add stairs, fences, and slabs to any structure to add some depth. You can also create depth by pushing part of a wall backwards. This creates the illusion of the wall containing depth. Now you can add some detail to your structure. Detail is basically adding trap doors and buttons appropriately. If you need a visual example of depth, feel free to visit /warp depthtutorial. It shows you a great example of depth. Now that you have a basic structure, you can add some additional parts to your house, like a porch, chimney, window planters, a roof, doors, and windows. This will add to the structure and make it more appealing than just walls and a flat roof. You can also get away from flat walls and move more towards curved or rounded walls. It is harder to add depth, but is a good challenge for any builder
- Terrain:
- This consists of anything involving the ground, like hills, cliffs, and caves. You have flat terrain, which is not appealing. Try adding more interesting terrain. You can start out by creating an outline of a hill/cliff/etc. landscape to get an idea of what you want to create. Then you can place blocks to make the desired terrain. Make sure you make it somewhat random so it will not be flat or look like a stair case ( both are unattractive and unrealistic). Make sure it is not to boxy either as it will be awkward and unattractive. When choosing a palette for terrain, make sure the blocks are similar in colour. If the blocks are to far apart in either colour or pattern, it will not fit well and appear distracting. Make sure the blocks resemble one another and appear realistic. **** Now that you have terrain, you can add accessories, like waterfalls, lakes, caves, rock formations, craters and other features you desire. Most of this can cover any open areas you have on your plot or to make the terrain more unique. Make sure none of this is to cluttered as it would look messy and unattractive.
- Organics:
- This is anything living, like animals and trees. Your goal is to make sure you have no easy, spawned trees mad out of bonemeal. You have custom made your trees, and they are good enough for an Initiate plot! Great Job here.
- Fix the things mentioned above and your good do go!!!!! Good Luck<3
