- Flame catalyst used by the undead Kaorin Sakura. She aroused this flame to produce various fire arts. Equipping this flame allows the user produce various fire arts. When this catalyst is equipped, it is absorbed into the users wrist (and consumes the Hand slots) - it is otherwise unseen until it is used. When used, a flame (harmless to the user) engulfs the hands.
- The story goes that this merely a fragment of the first flame of which forged a whole world - brought here from another world. Its owner, for which it was brought by, was a woman by the name of Kaorin who bore the mark of the undead. No one knows what this mark actually looks like or how it is obtained, or if it is a curse or a gift.
- It was Kaorin who ventured deep beneath the city of pestilence into the demon infested ruins of Lost Izalith where she faced an ancient creature born of the first flame - a bed of chaos protecting its coveted ties - the Witch of Izalith. During battle with the ancient creature she encountered its source of life - what remained of the Witch. She became no more than a hideous grub, corrupted by the bed of chaos and used to fuel itself. Whether or not to save her own life, end the suffering of the Witch of Izalith or to end the existence of the bed of chaos, said to be the creature that gives birth to all demons, it isn't known but Kaorin laid waste to the hideous grub and pulled out a cinder.
- This cinder is said to be the fragment of the first flame though some speculate that the Witch of Izalith, one of the original lords that possessed the first flame at one point, attempted to duplicate it through magick, but instead created a distorted being of chaos and fire. That this power is what formed the bed of life of which all demons would be born and that it engulfed the Witch and her daughters, molding them into deformed creatures. If that is true, that would make this not a fragment of the first flame, but instead of a chaos flame.
- Regardless of these tales, Kaorin took the cinder as her own and nurtured it into the flame that it is today. How the flame and Kaorin became separated is unknown, nor is it known how it will play a part in the future of the world it now resides.

- Default (LV1)
- The Pyromancy Flame grants the following:
- The user can produce a light that illuminates a 10-meter radius (with a radius of shadowy illumination of 5-meters) by allowing the user to conjure and 'hold' a flame in their hand (this consumes the users main or off-hand slot and is a shift action to produce and disperse).
- The user can make unarmed struggle attacks that deal fire damage and/or Special damage using their special attack stat.
- Should the user choose to, they can 'nurture' the Pyromancy Flame with their own life force (loosing Hit Points equal to 25% of their Maximum Hit Points and suffering 1 injury) to change the Pyromancy Flame into the Dark Pyromancy Flame. Dark Pyromancy Flame functions exactly as Pyromancy Flame, except its granted abilities that are classified as Special class are instead Physical Class.
