  5.
  6. Kokub quietly worked and trained in the cave, learning his hardest to understand everything around him. This place was one of the few in deep touch with the dimension of travel, the dimension that the master of the Yardats could travel through at his will. He wished to learn that technique himself, but he had to train and meditate and learn about it in the native location. This place was the most spiritual area that the alien could find, making it the best place, and the likely location of the dimensional weakness.

  8. It was a simple matter of flying to the cave and looking around. It seemed no one had been here for a long time, dust and grime covered every corner of the floor here. The cave was well void of any vegetation that looked like it was alive. The thought crossed his mind that he’d like to remain undisturbed here himself, lest he draw the attention of those who would like to take the secrets for themselves. He thought that it was strange that this secret wasn’t better hidden.
  9.
  10. Kokub sat down and began to meditate, putting his focus on his ability to sense. The cave was well situated; he could sense the people across the planet as if they were standing in front of his eyes. Sometimes he felt he could reach out and touch them, to stand next to them. Yet he knew he was distant from anyone, he was miles from the nearest building after all. He continued to reach his senses out, searching for the secrets the cave held.

  12. His mind was filled with images of far off planets, and their people. One of them was a Namekian, training hard and establishing their place. He also could spot scientists on a planet, watching over the investments in their lab for helping their people. Kokub could then see the planet he had spent a fair amount of time on, where he was now.
  13.
  14. Slowly Kokub began to feel a power, something that was new. He felt he could shift his position, ever so slowly and carefully, entering a dimension so different than what he was used to, a place where miles, even light years, could be covered in mere moments. Such power was humbling to the alien, and it was clear that it was a power meant to be used responsibly. He could never travel to a place where he was not welcome, such as someone’s home. But he also could tell that he’d need to focus on someone. A person he knew. It was a simple matter of finding their Ki, focusing, and then shifting into the dimension and following the trail.
  15.
  16. With this in mind, he stood up and began to look around. He finally understood why this place was special. This may have been the only place someone could learn the technique on their own. From this moment, it was clear that the technique, Instant Transmission, was meant to have a master, someone who could utilize it, and teach others who really earned it, some day. One day, he’d expect a pupil of his very own to come to him, ready to learn. On that day, he promised, he’d make sure to test that pupil before ever revealing a thing. This, he swore.
