You allow your magical energy to infiltrate the intricate patterns of the small girl's command spells, and you try to locate the concept within the command spells that actually represents her link to the captive Avenger. It takes you a few seconds, but you eventually manage to locate it. You try to visualize it as an image in order to make things a little simpler, and the image you end up with is of a segment of a battered looking strained cast iron chain. It looks as if it could snap at any minute! Well, now that you've found it, all you need to do is direct your energy into modifying it. Working with such abstract concepts like this can get a little confusing sometimes, but for something like this, what you need to do is pretty clear. You direct your magical energy into fixing the almost broken chain, and you can feel your body begin to rapidly empty of magical energy as you do.

You just about manage to repair the chain to what you imagine it formerly would've looked like before the drain on your magical energy forces you to back away from Illyasviel, who has an expression of shocked awe as she looks at you.

"Y-you really did it!" Illya is overjoyed by her revelation. "Now, by the order of my command spell Avenger! Come to me!" She raises her arm in the air as she emphatically makes her command to the captive Servant, and for a few brief seconds, you prepare yourself for space to warp and for Avenger to show himself, even if you haven't actually physically seen the Servant a single time.

Nothing happens. Illya looks just as confused as you do before she manages to collect herself and sigh. "Guess we might've gotten a little bit optimistic. While my connection to Avenger has been strengthened massively, and I can feel him more clearly, but for whatever reason, I can't communicate with him, much less give him any orders!" Illya blurts out angrily before she forcibly tries to calm herself again. "At least we've some time before we get to a point where he's at risk of being taken over now. I think that my connection to Avenger is strong enough now that we'll have maybe two or three days more."
