Social work Ottawa

Hello,

Hope all is well, this email is in regards to my treatment. My arrival in the city of Ottawa primarily for business purposes and documentation acquisition, I kept being referred to doctors due to issues acquired from traversing the city on foot as a result of debt card issues and bank fraud. I was able to receive urgent care and social work assistance in regards to housing but kept being discharged and forced to repeat the loop of rendering triage to speak with social work sometimes having to wait for the doctor first which takes a while understandably so. I am on ODSP and have been having difficulties getting anything completed on my own due to ODSP social assistance miscommunications misunderstandings and delays as well as issues with having people speaking for me who should not be. This accessibility message is to request clarity and or to obtain an accommodation with social work to help me with issues I am unable to solve or deal with alone. Disinformation has slowed my academic and self employment progress to a stand still I have only been able to make an impact on my situation with my most recent social worker Caitlin Shanahan (who was phenomenal in assisting me)and was curious as to how I could access assistance with her until my situation in Ottawa is completed I suffer from PTSD,OCD, Aura migraines insomnia and a visual stress condition and other issues that make dealing with language barriers difficult, excessive repetition and misunderstandings while not being understood has been the primary factor in my prolonged stay with-in the city of Ottawa. My question is once admitted into urgent care am I allowed to leave and come back while still keeping my file on the docket without being discharged. I am a self employed honour role student and only ever need to communicate my situation and possible solutions which are discussed clearly to me as to what priority needs to be addressed first I have issues with order of operations in regards to self care I have a business oriented mind and always forget self care while focusing on obtaining student visa and other government identification documents. I was able to secure temporary housing with the social work team but once on my own my problems persisted with unresolved issues remain as they were when I first attempted to address and rectify them. In my mind I thought this would of been a streamlined process with a few calls emails and forms but has since become detrimental to my wellbeing with multiple meals being missed and an inability to take public transit due to persistent issues with the bank and ODSP (ID #201984903 ) I can’t figure out how to address or best ways to approach. I am only looking for assistance in document acquisition. I thank you in advance for reading this plea of an email and look forward to any future correspondence.
