SCQ 77 Epilogue

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 77 Epilogue-

AGE 785, EARTH

“FIIIINAAAAAAL!!” you shout, arms wide as you gather your ki for one of your dad’s favorite moves he’d taught you: the Final Flash.
“KAAAA MEEEE HAAAA MEEEEEE!” your opponent says, the furry form of Goku gathering a massive amount of red ki in his palms.
“FLAAAAAAASH!!” you shout, unleashing a powerful golden beam of death.
“HAAAA TIMES TEEEEEN!!!” Goku roars, a massive red beam firing right at your attack. You brace yourself, yet the titanic clash of power nearly steals you from your feet regardless. You’ve never felt power like this, even when you were facing down Demigra. This Goku’s the real deal. You struggle to push his attack back, but it’s no use; he’s just too strong. So instead of trying to win in a power struggle you detonate your attack, both yours and Goku’s attacks detonating in a massive blast. The shockwaves push you back, your feet digging twin trenches in the ground as you struggle to remain standing. As the shocks end you sigh out, focusing your ki sense to try and keep Goku from sneaking up on you. As you do you sense someone else, the new power coming from over the middle of the newly-made crater.

“Greetings, ningen.” an unfamiliar voice calls out through the thinning dust, you trying to see up through it to the speaker. The person’s ki feels kinda like a Saiyan’s, but also not. You can’t say exactly what, but there’s something wrong with this new power. “Cease this pointless violence, and kneel before your new god!”
“And just who’re you supposed to be?” Goku asks, you looking at the newcomer in confusion. Isn’t that-?
“Hmph. Addressing your god with such irreverence.” he says, this guy’s attitude is starting to piss you off. “But I suppose a god should show understanding to lesser life forms, no matter how undeserving they are. I am-“
“ZAMASU!!” Trunks yells, suddenly appearing in a flash with his sword already drawn.

“Zamasu?” you wonder aloud, you know you’ve heard that name before. But where? Suddenly it clicks, you remembering what Auntie Towa, or is she your stepmom now? Either way, you remember what she’d told and shown you before. Towa had been showing you the potential of Super Saiyan Blue, preparing you for your eventual rematch with Ace while she was waiting to give birth.
“Who’re they?” you’d asked, pointing to the two fighters. One’s a Super Saiyan Blue, and the other is some sort of green-skinned kai.
“That tailless Saiyan there is called Vegito.” she says, you watching the two colossal warriors fighting. “He’s a fusion of Goku and Vegeta. While the other is Zamasu. Sufficient to say, he’s a monster; a catastrophic mix of Saiyan, Kai, and an almost unbelievable god-complex.”

“Well well well, little helpless Trunks.” this ‘Zamasu’ guy says, snapping you out of your thoughts. “I’m actually surprised: I never thought you’d flee this way into the past to find help.”
“I’m not the Trunks you know.” he says, Ascending in a golden flash and burst of sparks. “But I’ll put you down just the same!”
“Uhh, hey, we’re still tryin’ to fight here.” Goku says dismissively to Zamasu. “Could you two take this elsewhere?”
“Goku, you can’t take him lightly.” Trunks says as Zamasu rises higher into the air, a halo behind his back.
“Goku...” Zamasu says, growing visibly angry. “No matter the timeline, your arrogance must be crushed! Begone! Lightning of Absolution!!”
“Shit, get down!” Trunks shouts, dozens of bolts of purple lightning flashing out from his halo at you, Trunks, and Goku. You backflip away then twist counterclockwise, dancing past the flashing bolts as they slam into the ground. But as you evade them, you hear Goku take a more direct approach.

“Kamehamehaaaaa!!” Goku roars, you hearing the sound of his signature attack firing forth and crashing into Zamasu’s lightning. As you twist past another bolt, you seeing his beam overpower the lightning and fly right at Zamasu. Your twist takes him out of your sight, you hearing it slam into him before turning back, seeing a smoke cloud where Zamasu was.
“Did you get him?” you call out, only to see the smoke blasted away by his white aura.
“You DARE attack me?” he calls out angrily, gathering a small ball of red ki at two fingertips. “You filthy ningen! I shall cleanse the universe of your disgusting kind! Have a taste of my righteous Holy Wrath!”

“You can’t throw that much power, you’ll destroy the planet!” Trunks roars and disappears in a flash, his power quadrupling as he becomes a Super Saiyan 3. He then pulls his arms back, left palm to the back of his right hand as a wild purple aura engulfs him. “I won’t let you!”
“Then try and stop me, ningen!” he shouts, his attack’s size and power doubling then doubling again. “Holy Wrath!”
“GALICK GUN!!” Trunks roars, his purple beam soaring then crashing into Zamasu’s massive attack. Yet you can almost see immediately that Trunks lacks the power to defeat that attack, his Galick Gun barely slowing it. For a moment you debate what you should do, but Goku doesn’t hesitate; he uses his Instant Transmission to appear next to Trunks.
“Kaaaameeeeehaaaaameeee!” he shouts, gathering again his red ki into his palms. “HAAAAAA!!!”

Goku’s red beam slams into Zamasu’s along with Trunks’ Galick Gun, the two stopping his “Holy Wrath” in it’s place. They both push against this ‘god’, neither side having the advantage. You’re stuck in place, looking back and forth. You could attack Trunks and Goku, helping Zamasu wipe them out. But he interrupted your fight, and he’s kinda an asshole. You kinda want to take that arrogant ass down a peg!

“Chaya.” Towa says, her and Churai appearing by your side. “I don’t know where he came from, but now’s your chance to get out of here.”
“Aww, not yet.” you say, flaring your aura back up. “I wanna kick that smug bastard’s ass a bit before I go!”
“Oh no you don’t.” she says, swatting you on the head. “You may not be able to feel his power, being a quarter mortal and three quarters divine, but I can tell that that right now you don’t stand a chance!”
“Perfect.” you say, walking forward and stretching out your shoulders. “Someone this strong is just what I’ve been looking for! You haven’t let me out of the house in months, no way I can pass this up!”
“Chaya, you idiot.” Towa says with a sigh, then telepathically continues as she and her robot assistant vanish. “I’ll have Churai on standby in case this goes badly. But when you’re done here, you and I are going to have a talk young lady.”

You just smile and keep walking forward, coming to a stop by Goku and Trunks. You watch them struggle a moment, then speak up saying:
“Looks like you boys could use a hand.”

“Hmph.” Goku smirks at you as Trunks’ jaw drops. “C’mon over, there’s room for one more.”
“Let me show you how it’s done!” you say, walking over to stand beside Goku. You then throw your arms wide, ki gathering in your palms as you prepare your attack. “This doesn’t make us allies. Especially you, Trunks. But that bastard’s pissing me off, so I want to kick that smug look right off of his face!”
“Truce then?” Trunks asks, you turning a murderous glare on him. He quickly corrects what he said, but doesn’t back down. “At least until Zamasu’s dealt with?”
“It doesn’t matter how many insects you gather!” Zamasu shouts from above you, your left eye twitching in irritation. You’ve already had it with this asshole’s smug sense of superiority. “You ningen will all fall to the glory that is Zamasu!”
“...Fine.” you say with a sigh, rolling your eyes then slamming your palms together. Your power quickly multiplies on itself, your attack ready. “On three.”
“One.” Goku says, bracing himself.
“Two.” you say, your attack reaching critical mass, It’s now or never!
“Three!” he and Trunks shout, putting their full strength behind their attacks as you shout:

“FINAL FLASH!!”

Your golden beam soars high into the air as you roar, it slamming hard into Zamasu’s attack. With the three of you combining your strengths you quickly overpower the pretentious god, sending his own attack crashing back into him. You can feel it when his attack lands, the sphere detonating in a massive blast. As Zamasu’s attack consumes him you all end your attacks, Trunks dropping to a knee.

“I thought he’d be stronger than that.” Goku says disappointingly, you having to agree with him.
“It’s not over.” Trunks says, you both looking to him confused. But then you all hear it, turning in surprise.
“You would dare attempt to resist my divine judgement?” Zamasu calls out, his white aura blasting the smoke away from himself, white halo still glowing. “That’s sacrilege. And you filthy heretics must be purged!”
“Oh shut UP already!” you shout, blasting off the ground up at him. You are so sick of his self-righteousness, you will make him eat his own boot! “I’ve had enough!”

“HYYRRRAAAAAA!!” Goku roars, charging up at the pretentious god alongside you. He dashes to Zamasu’s right, you taking his left and swinging for his head. Zamasu, however, simply holds a hand out towards each of you, catching both of your fists effortlessly. “Huh?”
“Begone, ningen!” he shouts, aura flaring up around his hands. Before you can react an excruciating pain travels up your arm, you screaming in pain. Your training for the past several years had pushed the limits of your body, but you’ve never felt anything like this. Your nerves and muscles feel like they’re on fire, and after a few moments he slams Goku into you, you both crashing to the ground.

“Dammit.” Goku says, coughing on the dust kicked up by the impact. “Hey kid, you okay?”
“Get off me old man.” you reply, pushing Goku off and getting to your feet and clutching your right arm. Testing your movement it doesn’t feel like anything’s broken, but you’ll be sore tomorrow. You look around a moment at the crater you find yourself in, then look up at Zamasu, gasping in surprise. What the hell is that?!

“Foolish ningen.” he says, the massive aura behind him shaping into something birdlike. Seeing that form take shape you can’t help but feel awed, at least until Zamasu speaks. “I shall cleanse this universe of your primitive kind!”
“ENOUGH!” Trunks shouts from somewhere behind you, the boy charging at Zamasu with his sword held in both hands. “I’m ending this now, Zamasu!”
“Your resistance is futile!” he shouts, suddenly dozens of bolts of lightning shooting forth from the raven-like creature’s body. Trunks blocks with his sword, the lightning drawn to the metal. Unfortunately for Trunks the energy behind the attack is more than he can withstand, it exploding against him and sending the boy crashing down to the ground. “Grovel there in the dirt where you belong, and beg for your worthless life!”

“This guy’s something else. Maybe there is something to this god ki stuff after all.” Goku says, and you can’t help but agree. Despite all your training and power in this form, Zamasu seems to be on a whole other level. “If you’ve got any aces up your sleeves, I think it’s time we break them out.”
“I’ve got one.” you say, rolling your shoulder. “You familiar with Dragon Fist?”
“Dragon Fist?” Goku asks, then smirks. “That’s one of my favorite moves.”

“Wait, one of your favorites?” you ask in surprise. “You mean-?”
“Yeah.” he replies with a nod. “You thinkin’ what I’m thinkin’?”
“Let’s do it!” you say with a nod, you both turning to Zamasu as he’s still floating there, rambling to himself. With a shout both you and Goku flaring your golden auras, lightning dancing along your bodies.
“You damn ningen just don’t learn, do you?!” he shouts angrily, you focusing on gathering your ki. You’ll only get one shot, you better make this count! “I shall exterminate you!”
“Ready?” Goku asks.
“GO!” you shout, the two of you leaping off the ground together. You both throw your fists forward as one, shouting:

“DRAGON FIST!!!”

“ROOOOAAAAAAAAAR!!!!” your dragon roars alongside Goku’s, the two of you twisting around each other as you charge. Zamasu’s bird creature fires a few dozen bolts of lightning at the two of you. You roar again, breathing a burst of flames as you charge. Your flames stop Zamasu’s lightning, then before he can move you both slam into it. You tear through the ki creature with little resistance, shredding it as you pass through. It cries out as you both kill it, ending your attacks. You feel your strength plummet, sighing out as your golden dragon fades from around you.

“You... You’d DARE?!” Zamasu shouts from behind you, you both turning to again face the Kai. Wait, is he crying? “Why must you mortals resist justice? Can you not see the true beauty of my work?”
“Shut-UP!!” Trunks roars as he comes up behind Zamasu, his sword stabbing him through the back. “No one cares about your delusions of justice!”

Zamasu gasps in shock, looking startled at the foot of steel protruding from his chest. After a moment he grabs the blade with his right hand, pointing his left hand’s fingertips at his heart.

“Hmph. Foolish ningen, fighting against the inevitable.” Zamasu says, aura flaring around his left hand. “Right up until your death.”
“Trunks, move!!” Goku shouts, but it’s too late for him. Zamasu creates a ki blade in his left hand, it piercing through his chest and Trunks’s.
“Gah!” Trunks gasps in surprise, coughing up blood. He drops his sword, clutching at his chest as he falls from the sky.
“Dammit!” Goku says angrily, clenching his fist. “Got no other choice, I have to risk it. Chaya, can you keep him off me?”
“What? Why?” you ask, turning to him. “The hell are you doing?”
“I have one last trick, and if I pull it off I’ll be strong enough to take him.” he says, sighing out and relaxing his body. “But if I screw this up, it could kill me. I need just one uninterrupted minute to focus. Can you do it?”

“...Fiiiine.” you say, rolling your eyes and flaring your aura up. “But only because I want to finish our match sometime. And if this asshole kills you, I won’t get to.”
“Oh, don’t worry.” Goku says, his own aura flaring up as well. “There’s no way I’m dying here!”
“I’ll hold you to that old man.” you say with a smirk, blasting off towards Zamasu. You quickly close the distance, Zamasu turning to you. “Hey, asshole! You and me, let’s go!”
“Yet another foolish ningen wishes to die by the hand of Zamasu.” he says, shaking his head arrogantly. “Very well, I shall give you the death you deserve!”

“Bring it!” you shout, dashing headlong at him. He pulls his right fist back, punching at you. The shockwave from his punch flies at you, you barely rolling around it before it can hit you. You close the distance before he can pull back his fist for a second, your left fist slamming into his face and sending Zamasu flying. “I’ll show you what a real Saiyan can do!”
“Filthy ningen, you dare?!” he roars angrily, his halo expanding out rapidly. “Die for your sins! Blades of Judgement!”

“Shit!” you shout, flying up into the air away from the sudden barrage of red blade-like ki blasts. Hundreds of blades fly past, you weaving in between the hailstorm of blades. Blades keep coming closer and closer, several stinging you as they slice through your skin. “Nggrrr, dammit! HAAAAAA!!”

You roar out, swiping your right arm left to right and creating your special Barrier. As each one of Zamasu’s blades strike it, instead of slicing through or sticking to it they get reflected back at Zamasu. He doesn’t see it coming, a few dozen of his blades sent back into himself. His attack ends as the blades sticking out of him explode, Zamasu crying out in pain. You got him!!

“Take that, asshole!” you shout, flipping off the cloud of smoke kicked up by his blasts. “Not so tough now, are you?”
“No matter how hard you struggle, your death is a certainty.” he says, the smoke clearing to show you he’s somehow still fine, his clothes in tatters. He tears the remains of his top off, veins bulging on his forehead. He lifts his right hand up, again gathering his ki for a massive ball of ki. But before he can fully prepare his attack, you both hear and feel it:

“KAIO-KEN!!”

“Kaio-what?” you ask, and before you can turn slightly a red streak passes by you at unimaginable speeds. You see the red streak slam into Zamasu with a massive crash, sending the so-called god flying. “Woah, no way!”

Goku just turns slightly, grinning at you a moment before exploding after Zamasu, you unable to keep up. Watching Goku going to town on Zamasu, the kai unablr to defend himself you sigh out, powering down and telepathically signaling for Churai to get you out of there. An instant later she’s there, but instead of taking you away she hands you an all-too-familiar weapon.

“Godsend? Why?” you ask, Churai vanishing without answering. Towa’s voice, however, suddenly appears in your mind.
“It’s time.” Towa says.
“But the Supreme Kai of Time isn’t here.” you say, clutching the weapon in both hands. “Why?”
“Goku’s Kaio-Ken is about to fade.” she says. “Unlike Trunks’s blade, this weapon will kill him. You’ve spent months training to kill her with it, consider this a test run. Zamasu’s not as powerful as she is, but he is immortal. Now go out there and take him down!”
“Right!” you shout, blasting off after Goku and Zamasu. By the time you catch up to them, Goku is absolutely dominating. Zamasu is unable to defend himself, Goku’s powerful strikes hitting him from every side. As you watch him you can’t help but feel a little jealous; as much as you hate to admit it, he’s far more powerful than you. Goku keeps attacking Zamasu, but you see his rhythm starting to falter. It’s time! As you dash in you feel and see Goku’s Kaio-Ken fade.

“HRRAAAAAAA!!” he shouts, swinging his fist at Zamasu. The Kai, however, takes advantage of Goku’s Kaio-Ken faltering and catches Goku’s fist.
“Die!” Zamasu shouts, shoving his left hand ki blade into Goku’s chest. You hear him gasp in surprise, yet as you charge he grabs onto Zamasu’s arm. “W-What?”
“Your turn!” Goku says, ducking as you close in behind him. You see Zamasu’s eyes widen in surprise, Goku calling out, “DO IT!”
“HYAAAAAAA!!” you shout, swinging the blade through that asshole’s smug face. The golden-white light burns both sides of your cut, Zamasu’s ki blade vanishing. Goku releases Zamasu, reaching into a bag tied to his waist as blood pours from his chest. But you don’t have time to celebrate, Churai appearing and placing it’s hand on your shoulder. You only have a moment before disappearing, turning to Goku. “Next time, I’m taking you down.”
“Bring i-“ he says, you suddenly no longer on Earth but instead back home in Towa’s lab. Looking around you see Towa, who surprisingly isn’t alone, surrounded by a very familiar crowd of people.

“Well look at you, my little godslayer.”

“Daddy!” you shout, dropping the spear and rushing into his embrace.
