<div class="r1i"><br><b>RULES:</b><br><b>1.)</b> <i>Be active!</i> We will conduct member sweeps monthly. We understand that everyone has a life outside of neopets, but please just let us know that you'll be absent so we do not delete you! Do not join, post once, then never do anything again - that is a waste of both your time and ours. If you haven't reached 10 posts in your first week of joining the guild, you will be removed. You should only join a guild when you know you will have time to participate in it. After you are an established member, you may tell the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement if you will be away for any period of time, so you are not considered for removal. There's no guarantee you will not be swept if you fail to send that neomail.
<p><b>2.)</b> <i>Be polite!</i> Follow the golden rule, and treat others how you would wish to be treated.</p>
<p><b>3.)</b> <i>We are a semi-literate guild</i>, so please make sure you keep the text speak to a bare minimum, and try spell things correctly! We won't kick you out if you spell something wrong once or twice or forget to capitalise a letter - we just want to be able to understand you when we chat :) If autocorrect or something is messing things up, please proof-read your posts before posting them,
 otherwise we will delete them as they are incomprehensible and considered spam. Posting multiple illiterate messages will result in a permanent ban from the guild. </p>
<p><b>4.)</b> <i>We are 18+</i> but will (rarely) make exceptions. Most of our members are in their 20s and 30s and we don't want to be chatting with children on the internet.</p>
<p><b>5.)</b> <i>Have  fun!</i> We work hard to come up with fun things for our members and would prefer that our members actually participate. If at any point you have any issues with participating, or if you have any suggestions about anything, please let your Head of House know!
<br><br></p><p><b>STANDARDS:</b><br><b>1.)</b> <i>We have a Trial Period;</i> We want to know that you're actually going to participate and chat with us! These were mentioned before and they'll be mentioned again, but if you have not gotten sorted into a House, posted at least 10 messages on the guild board, opened a Trunk, <b>and</b> done some sort of activity in your first week (seven days) of joining the guild, you will be deleted from the guild! We do not want members who waste our time. These are fairly simple things to do, and if you don't have the time to participate in a guild (specifically an active, activity-based Harry Potter guild), do not join.</p><p><b>2.)</b> In order to make the competition more fair, <i>we will not sort any new members into the House that is currently winning the House Cup</i>, and each House has a member cap. We will always work to try to make the competition fair, and you may be switched to another House right before a term starts - so you could essentially be in your own House later if yours is not available at the moment. We will always try to only place you in one of your top two choices, and we will never sort you into your last choice.</p><p>

<div class="l1i">Patronus is an active, semi-literate 18+ Harry Potter guild.  We are run by a staff of dedicated members - you can learn more about what kind of positions we offer by visiting the <a href="/~hagoi">Ministry</a>!<br><br>
Patronus was officially opened in February 2017 by Founders <a href="/randomfriend.phtml?user=vampirewithfangs" style="color: #7a5b96;">Taylor</a> and <a href="/randomfriend.phtml?user=icanhaskaila" style="color: #7a5b96;">Kayla</a>. It is currently staffed by
<a href="/randomfriend.phtml?user=keia0987">Keia</a>,
<a href="/randomfriend.phtml?user=kimmsy2000">Kim</a>,
<a href="/randomfriend.phtml?user=alissiee">Jess</a>, and
<a href="/randomfriend.phtml?user=pvaaux">Paige</a>! Our love for Harry Potter and planning fun events for our members is what keeps this guild striving.<br><br>
Members earn house points, explore <a href="/~Joesln">Hogwarts</a>, participate in and lead classes and activities, and earn in-guild currencies to purchase items from <a href="/~Nyaxin">Hogsmeade</a> and <a href="/~Evlao">Diagon Alley</a>.<p>
Aside from our regular activities, Patronus also periodically hosts fun plots and special events that offer special trophies and avatars to showcase in our personal trunks.</p><p>After graduating, members are able to get their own Wizarding jobs in the guild (but are still contributors to their House for the monthly competition)!
