Aanon-Kazooie: Chapter 4

Twi: What was that?
Flutter: I heard it too..
What? What are we talking about?
>Ponies must have more sensitive hearing than you.
Kazooie: What is it now?
Twi: It sounded like someone.. laughing.
Kazooie: Well good for them then.
Flutter: It was probably nothing then..
Twi: Well then, is everyone finished?
>You had just eaten dinner with Twilight and Fluttershy. And Kazooie of course. You had some kind of sandwich with weeds in it. Twilight said that it was good for your coat.
>You didn’t have a coat. You were pretty hairy, but not as nearly as bad as Twilight or Fluttershy.
Thank you Twilight. Me AND Kazooie appreciate it, right?
Kazooie: Yeah yeah, I get the hint. It was okay.
Twi: I’ll take that as a compliment.
Kazooie: A little dry-
Be nice.
Kazooie: Make me.
*sigh*. Fluttershy, I don’t know how much longer I can stay up.
Kazooie: You sure do like your sleep Aanon.
Flutter: Don’t worry, we won’t take much longer Aanon.
>You sure hoped not. Your eyes were starting to droop.
Twi: Oh, before I forget, I wanted to show you something Aanon.
>She leads you into the main room, trotting along the wooden floor across the endless rows of books.
What is it?
Twi: I took the liberty of studying that notebook a little further-
>Since when did you give her your notebook?
>You see it in the aura of Twilight’s horn.
Twi: -and I made something special that I think will come in handy someday.
Really? What?
>She goes to a table, filled with strange beakers and liquids. Twilight takes a random one from the pile of test tubes, and hands it over to you.
Twi: Here you go Aanon. Make sure you only use it in an emergency.
Kazooie: Are you going to explain to us what it does?
Twi: In that test tube is a highly concentrated dose of magic.
Magic? Is magic a liquid?
Twi: *giggle* Of course not! Well, not usually. It’s more of a gas, but that’s not important: I’ve managed to concentrate it down into a highly concentrated shot. It took a lot of effort..
>You hold the tube in your hand. It was a neon purple, almost exactly matching Twilight’s coat. You were pretty sure this stuff could glow in the dark.
So it’s like.. a shot of magic.
Twi: Well, yeah. If you ever really need it, then you could just use that. Or you could just come to me.
Thanks Twilight, this might come in handy one day.

Twi: Anytime Aanon!
Kazooie: What do I get? Nothing?
>Twilight just shakes her head. You put the test tube in one of your packs pockets.
Don’t drink this ok? Do. Not. Drink.
Kazooie: I won’t, you can trust me.
Right.
Fluttershy: Ok Aanon, we should go. It’s getting dark very quickly.
Ok then. Bye Twilight!
Twi: I’ll see you later Aanon!
>You shut the door after Fluttershy.
Kazooie: Ungrateful little.. Didn’t get me anything..
Flutter: My, it will be a  long walk home at this rate..
Kazooie: Don’t worry, we can just fly there!
Flutter: Oh yes, that will be much quicker. Aanon?
Alright..
>You help Kazooie lunge yourself in the air, red sparks shooting every-
BAM
You hit something in midair causing you to flail out of control
Flutter: Aanon!
UH OH…
>Thankfully, you manage to straighten you and Kazooie out, grazing the ground at a violent degree.
Kazooie: OW! What the heck was-
>You spy a laughing blue Pegasus high in the sky.
Kazooie: Why, that cheeky little..
>Kazooie gives it all she has to bring you and her up to Rainbow Dash’s height.
Dash: Hahaha! You should of seen the look on your face Aanon! It was priceless!
Kazooie: What the heck was that! You could’ve killed us!
Dash: Yeah, I didn’t mean to do it too hard.. but you have to admit that was pretty funny.
I could’ve broken my legs Dash.
Dash: Okay, I’m sorry.. Hey! You guys want to race?
I thought that was for tomorr-
Kazooie: You’re on!
Dash: That’s more like it.
Ok fine, just let me down-
Dash: Oh come on, if Kazooie is as good as she says, then she could do it with you.
Kazooie: I can fly circles around you!
Dash: Bring it on then!
>Rainbow scopes the surrounding area.
Dash: Aha! First one to Fluttershy’s house is the winner!
Kazooie: Fine! 3..2..1-
Dash: Go!
>Rainbow Dash speeds ahead of you, rocketing off towards Fluttershy’s cottage.
>You weren’t going to let her win that easy though. You and Kazooie scrunch up into a ball, and rocket towards Rainbow Dash. You rapidly gain on her. She obviously wasn’t giving it her all though.
>As soon as you speed past her, she widens her eyes, and puts on the speed.
>You both go neck and neck, Rainbow Dash bumping you repeatedly, trying to throw you off.
>You finally gain the momentum you need to get past her about 10 feet, seeing Fluttershy’s house coming up-
WHOMP
>A giant green light suddenly hit you, and you feel intense heat run through your body, violently being thrown off course.
>You are thrown violently to the ground, doing a couple of forced somersaults, accidently crushing your feathered friend.
>You finally come to a rest a little over 30 feet after you hit the ground, and groan.
>That hurt. A lot.
>You shake your head, and put your arms under yourself, forcing you to stand up.
>Your muscles screamed in pain, but miraculously, you had no broken bones.
Ow.. you alright Kazooie?
Kazooie: ..I think so..
>You start limping over to Fluttershy’s house, a mere 50 feet away.
>What was that?
>It was just like in your dream..
>Rainbow Dash looks at the both of you with a worried expression.
Dash: Are you guys okay?
Kazooie: What the hell!? You made us crash!
Dash: What? No I didn’t!
Kazooie: Oh, and I’m sure that green lightning bolt came out of nowhere then!
Dash: I didn’t do it! I wouldn’t try something like that! I don’t even know how to do something like that!
Kazooie: You liar!
Enough!
>Dash and Kazooie stop arguing.
Did you see who did that Dash?
Dash: No, all I saw was a giant green light come from over there..
>She points to a dark forest, the  edge being right by Fluttershy’s house.
>You twist your back, feeling it pop in multiple places. You had to be more careful in the air.
>But what was that? Had something tried to hit you? And why?
>You limp over to Fluttershy’s front door, and lean yourself against the wall.
Any bones broken Kazooie?
Kazooie: No, I don’t think so..
>Fluttershy is seen in the distance. She comes up quickly, and quickly trots up to you.
Flutter: Oh my gosh Aanon, Are you ok?!
Yeah, I’m fine, just a little-
>She pushes you inside, and forces you on the couch. She takes off your backpack, and Kazooie comes out, collapsing on the floor. Rainbow Dash is in the doorway, a hoof behind her neck.
Dash: Okay then Aanon, Kazooie.. It looks like you have your hooves full.. I’ll see you tomorrow..
>And with that, Rainbow Dash shuts the door, flying off into the distance.
>You watch as Fluttershy carefully takes your temperature, pulls a blanket over you, wraps Kazooie in one, and puts your backpack close to you.
Thanks Fluttershy, I already feel better.
Flutter: You’re welcome Aanon. You better get some rest if you are going to race Rainbow Dash tomorrow..
Me? Kazooie is racing her, not me..
Flutter: Oh, but aren’t you going to do it together? You would get a lot more momentum out of it, and you would go a lot faster..
Well, I guess, but it’s really Kazooie’s- how do you know so much about racing?
Flutter: Well.. I used to do some racing..
Really? Were you good at it?
Flutter: Not really, I’m more of a ground person..
Me too..
>You didn’t want to race with Kazooie, but you also didn’t want Rainbow Dash to win. You were barely beating her, there wasn’t a chance Kazooie could do it alone..
>Kazooie was already knocked out, wrapped up in a blanket. You make a loud yawn as Fluttershy turns off the lights.
Flutter: Good night Aanon.
