- [17:11] Adrian was clearly annoyed because he hadn't had anyone else threaten his life over using their name. Especially after he 'reported' Maia being captured, yet the male didn't care at all. But now Clara was here, his actual daughter?
- He knew what was going to happen, in fact... He was purposely swinging her name around.
- ''You are Sor Ultovex's child, the person that tarnished us Dragons by raising one from the void? Disgusting... You step and grind your heel on all of us.''
- The temptation to act out violently boiled, but after remembering what Ohtil said to him he calmed. We don't carry the sin's of our fathers. And in this case, how could he be so hypocritical? He couldn't just lash out for Sors actions, no... And especially not in Levengard, where he had been treated fairly despite his name.
- ''Someone told me that we don't carry the Sin's of our Fathers, so I guess that applies to you too... Clara. We've never spoken, but I saw you on Niklaus shoulders once. You seemed fine, happy-- Not horrible like Maia.''
- Scratching his neck, he just felt nervous now. So many people were gathered, did others have different plans for them? ''You probably shouldn't of come here, I don't think many are happy with your father. And as Niklaus told me when I was young, you shouldn't travel around as people may want to use you... To get to someone else.''
- Turning his head to look at Calael, did he plan to do anything?
- (Adrian Rowan)

- [17:17] This was probably the worst place to be for the both of them. Nothing but Sors' anger and punishment would top that off. Going back to Dawn right now and like this wasn't an option - they weren't strong enough, no. Still, this place, whatever it was, wasn't very welcoming of the Adjucator.
- They knew who Clara was. They barely knew him, though, right? So long as Adrian didn't particularly notice him back in Dawn he should be fine. Not to mention team seven was under Niklaus' orders— he'd be fine. That being said there was only one thing Aku could do right now...
- He frowned a bit, turning to Clara, then towards Adrian, then back to Clara. And... played his part, expression filled with disgust.
- "You're Sors' daughter?! That's... why didn't you tell me that? I thought you were a good person, not from some monster's family..!"
- He took a step away from the Ultovex, both metaphorically and physically. If the sealed god had taught him anything it was that freedom was at the center of every decision one made. To protect his own freedom and his life Aku decided to let go of what would bind him; what would prevent his own progress.
- He ditched Clara, heartlessly so.
- (Aku)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:23] Clara hadn't expected to be outed so quickly. She had noticed a settlement, and with Clara's logic she figured a small domestic cat would be here.
- And maybe she was right.
- But she was also met with betrayal. Twice. First, from Adrian who immediately declared who she was... And suddenly all eyes turned to her. Clara for her part, looked atrocious. She was dirty, and looked to be in pain - it was clear she had been through a lot already, just after leaving home.
- But then Aku turned upon her, and ditched her, just like that. Acting surprised on who she was. Gray eyes stared at him, as he stepped away from her and left her there - alone.
- The Whispers were right, and now that doubt seeped back into Clara's mind, and she seemed like a deer in the headlights briefly, before she took a step back.
- "... I - …." She began, not sure what to say. Suddenly all she wanted to do was go home. Ironic, that. When she was trapped in Dawn all she wanted was to see the world some day. But now she's seen the world, gotten injred… And now this. She wanted to go home. She wanted to be safe back home.
- "I just wanted to find a cat..." She said simply, voice tense.
- (Clara Ultovex)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:28] Calael's wings were obvious.
- He was marked as one of the very things Sors Ultovex wished to hunt above all else. With two other children calling Clara out as the Adjudicator's daughter, her anxiety and tension that rose were understandably justified.
- I just wanted to find a cat...
- The Sage of Levengard took a step forward, and then another before he was standing nearer the young Ultovex. With a gloved hand he reached out, offering it to her in greeting. "Clara, is it? My name is Calael Kang." Though he was taller than the girl, the demiangel leaned over some to see her eye to eye.
- "I can't say I've seen any cats nearby. But perhaps you could tell me what kind you were looking for?" A benevolent and warm air swept along the breeze and Cal offered Clara a smile to match it. "Would you mind coming with me for the moment?"
- (Calael Kang)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:30] Aia stood there, her Daemon laying on the ground behind her. A chill had filled the air - Aia couldn't quite explain it. It was as though she was looking at someone who was about to suffer guilt by association. With Levengard taking the last one who had a connection to Sors and locking them behind closed doors while they pleaded for their life, she expects the worst from this.
- As Calael steps forward and offers his hand, Aia frowns heavily. "Do you plan on killing her too?" Her cheeks twitch. That is what they had done, is it not? Murdered the slave's child. Why else be so secretive about it. "It is not her fault she was born into that repugnant line."
- (Aia Hirabayashi)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:30] Calael Kang says, "The other girl didn't die, and no harm will come unto Clara either."
- [17:30] Calael Kang says, "I can promise her that."
- [17:31] Aia Hirabayashi says, "I hope you are a man of your word."
- [17:32] Aku says, "..."
- [17:32] Aku asks, "No death..?"
- [17:32] Aku says, ".........."
- [17:33] Shizano Samemura says, "Why're yah throwin` yer net? "
- [17:33] Shizano Samemura says, "She's a lass. S`not polite. "
- [17:34] Aku nodded to himself a few times at that. Good. That was good. If he was outted and caught out he'd definitely be able to get away without dying. Better not to risk it, however. The redhead moved closer to the other side, leaving Clara utterly and absolutely alone.
- He remained silent for now. Being discrete was a must.
- (Aku)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:35] All that annoyance, it was hard to contain. But he had to be fair, didn't he? She didn't do what Sors did, she was just born from him. Just like Adrian didn't do what Arthur has done, he was just born from their line.
- ''I'm sorry Clara... I shouldn't be so quick to lash out...'' His small fists clench, he maybe shouldn't have said anything. Was this good or bad? Would Niklaus and Taiga think he was stupid or irrational?
- Calael's movements and words do ease him slightly, but he had done enough damage here already. With Aia and Rhubarb edging closer, to either help or understand the situation.
- ''You should listen to them Clara, you seem nice so I don't think anything bad will happen...'' Maybe not to her, but her father may be the one in for it.
- Adrian just... Steps back. He felt a little conflicted currently, and didn't want to push himself further into this situation.
- (Adrian Rowan)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:36] Aia wanted to believe the one called Calael. He had helped a vampire find new life, even if not perfect. But her experience with Isaac has taught her to be cautious of their kind. Noel secrecy didn't help her to trust them. "If I discover you have harmed a minor we'll be having a long discussion, mister Calael."
- She nods forward, though he did not face her.
- Side eying the red head, she whipers some words to him. Her expression curious, but sympathetic.
- (Aia Hirabayashi)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:36] Calael Kang says, "If I harm her then you should hold me accountable."
- [17:37] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: Did she truly not inform you of her birthright?
- [17:37] Aia glances at the Kang briefly.
- (Aia Hirabayashi)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:38] Aku whispers: No... If I knew the man who tortured me and hurt me was her father I wouldn't have traveled with her.
- [17:39] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: Oh... I am so sorry...
- [17:39] Aku whispers: ... It'll-...
- [17:39] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: You should not blame her, though. It is not her fault that she was born from him...
- [17:39] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: Was she at least kind?
- [17:40] Aku whispers: She wants to find a cat to kill it.
- [17:40] Aia Hirabayashi says, "To kill-"
- [17:40] She had never thought she'd meet someone with wings. They were part of two different worlds. Hers, where death and the whispers of the void were an everyday occurrence. She had grown up with them. And here, where.... Well - she had no idea what Demi-Angels got up to. Beyond making a brightly lit settlement.
- Gray steel eyes stared up at Calael, silent. Calael Kang. She didn't recognize the name, but he seemed... Nice enough. But then Aia spoke up and mentioned killing her, and all at once Clara's face contorted into wide eyed fear. Sure, Clara was familiar with Death itself, and she was comfortable with it.
- When it applied to others. Not her. The Whispers struck at her all at once.
- Win, Clara.
- Win, Clara, or I'll disown you.
- Win, Clara, or you will mean nothing to me.
- Win, Clara, or I will replace you.
- Win, Clara, or I will kill you, and raise you in a way you will.
- Win, Clara.
- If you fail me, I will kill all your friends for betraying me.
- I will snap your friends fingers, cut their throats because it entertains me.
- I crave their blood, I crave their tears, their suffering.
- If you fail me, you fail everyone.
- It was almost too much and for once, she seemed to be on the verge of tears. Then - Wilde. A friend, not someone like Aku who dropped her at the soonest possible chance to save his life. She shook her head,
- "Not... A party..." She mumbled quietly, but Cal's reassurance that she wouldn't be harmed did little to assuage her fears. But eventually, she slowly nodded, "... Okay..."
- (Clara Ultovex)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:40] Aia places a hand over her mouth... With a shocked look, she flickers her gaze towards Clara. Then to calael.
- (Aia Hirabayashi)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:40] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: I should perhaps inform Calael of that...
- [17:40] Aia steps ahead - She whispers to the Demi.
- (Aia Hirabayashi)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:40] Aku whispers: ... She's terrifying.
- [17:40] Calael Kang asks, "Let's go somewhere we can sit down, hm?"
- [17:40] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: The boy behind me informs me that she is looking for a cat to kill it...
- [17:40] Aia takes a step back...
- (Aia Hirabayashi)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:40] Calael nods at Aia, but says nothing.
- (Calael Kang)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:41] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: Thank you for informing me of that.
- [17:42] Aku offered a small nod.
- (Aku)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:42] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: Do you wish to talk? It cannot be easy to have been harmed by her father and then put your trust into her...
- [17:42] Aku whispers: I.. yeah. There's a lot that happened in Dawn.
- [17:43] Aia looks at Aku, smiling reassuringly.
- (Aia Hirabayashi)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [17:44] Aia Hirabayashi whispers: Once the crowd disperses we can have a chat.
- [17:44] Aku offered a bittersweet smile, as if something felt... wrong. Was it regret or was it how successful he had been in his betrayal?
- (Aku)
