  1. My top games January 2014 - January 2015:
  2.
  3. Wii: Xenoblade Chronicles
  4.
  5. Only played Xenoblade in this last year, but I'm glad that I finally got round to it. I don't regret my purchase in the slightest. The fact that it's my #1 Wii game in this last year is self explanatory. If you haven't played it, go do it. I'm serious. When I heard people saying it, I thought "It's probably not as good as they say". I've never EVER been more wrong. I wish I could re-live my first playthrough and experiences with the game, because it is legendary. Everything about it is perfect. So again, go play it. It'll be well worth your money, no matter the cost.
  6.
  7. WiiU: Hyrule Warriors
  8.
  9. While I only have around 16 WiiU games, Hyrule Warriors is easily my favourite. I've always wanted a Dynasty Warriors style game, but LoZ themed. It's fun. It's REALLY satisfying to kill thousands of enemies. There's a lot to do. And it's probably worth getting a Link Amiibo just for the spinner. It's my favourite weapon so far. You'll play it for hours on end and still be enjoying it. So much content, and the DLC only adds more.
  10.
  11. 3DS: Bravely Default
  12.
  13. Oh my god, this is a game and a half. Enjoyed playing this game. There isn't much depth to the characters on surface level. But if you watch the skits, and take note of the Character's action, you'll notice lots of little changes which really mean a lot. A lot of the enjoyment I got from this game was through the optional things, such as sidequests and skits. You can go VERY in depth with strategy, and there's so many different combinations of skills, jobs, traits etc. Battles are also REALLY convenient. You can adjust the encounter rate (0%, 50%, 100%, 150%, 200%), adjust battle speed (x1, x2, x3, x4) and set it to auto battle (Repeats the last set of commands you manually input). Grinding is super easy. Battles don't take long at all. And even at max level (99), the final boss is still difficult. I'd recommend reading some of the fanfiction too. While most of it is dark, it's well written and worth a read.
  14.
  15. PS3: Tales of Xillia 2
  16.
  17. Technically, I started this game in 2015, but I finished it in a week so I'm gonna bend the rules and make it count. While it has it's flaws, the characters are great, story is engaging and is just a fun game overall. Wasn't sure on a (mostly) silent protagonist in a Tales game, but they used it as a reason for the choice system and it did actually work. The ending was great, but I was sort of unhappy because both endings were bittersweet. I suppose that adds to the enjoyment, though. The 'Debt system' limited the speed in which you could progress the story, but it doesn't take too long to unlock the next chapters. It also served as a wallet, in a way, as if you exceeded a certain amount of money, you would be forced to make a payment. The more you payed, the higher your limit was. Overall a great game. Play Xillia 1 first. But play this after, cause I enjoyed it more than it's prequel.
