This is because if she transformed into a human, she’d be mentally exhausted, unable to sleep from being one of the few survivors of the massacre.

If she became human again, she would shrink back into alcoholism to relieve the pain, and then her body would be destroyed. At times, she thought about it, but then she saw Tepsekemei, and she decided to keep going, despite how painful it can be.
