  1. Largely the fact that players don't matter, and that nothing has been done despite previous complaints. You 'gauge our reaction' with suggestion posts and polls, but you're all an absolute bastion of neutrality whenever these issues come up in a staff meeting which - i might add- over rules anything that suggestion post might have had said in it with zero consideration. Unless something affects a staff member directly, they either abstain, or don't vote on the issue period. One or two staff members voting is ***not*** indicative of what a playerbase wants. But as you, and others, have stated repeatedly, this isn't a democracy. But it's not so much 'this isn't a democracy' as far as i can see, as much as you're unwilling to entertain anything contrary to your personal agenda as staff. There's having a desire for the direction a server should go, and then there's forcing that direction down other people's throats. i.e the medkit PR. That was still under discussion, but it was very much a bikeshed / unwanted change is still being pushed through regardless of what was said in the thread. And it was voted in at a staff meeting.

  3. These should not be a matter of how many people in a very secret club want or don't want it, since it very rarely directly affects them.

  5. My behavior in the medkit PR is purely because i have lost all faith in Polaris's administration. Nothing has changed, despite community outcry. There ***should not be*** an argument on github ***every time a PR is opened***. Anewbe often does staff request PRs. Maybe - just maybe, there's something wrong with the ***administration*** and not just Anewbe. Don't get me wrong, i have my fair share of issues with Anewbe, but he's just part of the larger problem that i don't see changing any time soon. I'm either met with silence, or countered by points that are weaker than paper mache. The long and short of it is that Polaris's administration reminds me very much of the pre-Torch Baystation administration: Apathetic, uncaring, and going nowhere.

  7. Speaking on the issue of *change*. After the Anewbe Complaint, i was told that there would be changes to the process of how things get done. I was expecting these changes to actually mean something, not be a vague, paper-thin placation movement of 'go make a forum thread and we'll maybehaps get around to looking at it'. The process has not changed. Changes and balances that the administration wants are overwhelmingly still pushed through with little regard for what players want.

  9. A very long history of this, going back two years, was a major part of why i even complained about Anewbe, plus other issues.
  10. Maybe others share my sentiments, maybe they don't. But as a player, i don't have a reason to trust Polaris's administration at large about anything they say. And you guys are the giants in the room. I can't do anything about you but leave and start my own server (which is not possible for a number of reasons, trust me, i tried it beforehand.)
