I'm poking at the innards of a fancy little flash file, in an attempt to free it from its php gateway and pull out some images I'd like to use. I've run a .swf decompiler on it - (or rather, a downloaded copy of it, which is pobably a significant part of the problem) - and I can see all the scripts it uses just fine. But when I try to actually view the contents of the scripts, I get the message
"Warning: in this unregistered version, no Action Script will be shown."
The images themselves are nowhere to be seen, which makes me suspect that they're being pulled from elsewhere on the site's servers. Presumably, the code's being hidden is an attempt to stop people from stealing it; stipulated that I'm just looking for some images for a fansite, with no other way to get at them - are there any kind, patient, and knowledgeable souls who would be not only able to refrain from ridicule when I explain what the site actually is, but also willing to answer a lot of dumb questions about how to get this done? Thanks in advance to anyone able to offer some advice.
