Well the oresystem is really nice in a sense. It generates huge ore pockets. Like when you mine one out completely it may give you around 20-30 stacks of that ore, but the ore clusters are really rare. So you have to actually go find them. It adds a whole new thing to the game. Since people cant just mine under their base for Copper. They have to go to a plains biome to find copper if they are in a forest biome for example. Even then they have to 'Prospect' around or look for stones on the ground that give a clue to where the ore is.
