dream log 83

had a dream about being in a store in this sort of, amusement park like disneyland

it was an outdoors store with a bunch of aisles and i was looking through these japanese umbrellas, the ones for hiding from the sun, and i find the MOST perfect umbrella i've ever seen

there's a lady next to me, who offhandedly mentions she's hard of hearing, searching for a big beach umbrella for her husband, and i'm like "heyo!! i'm deaf (SIGNED!!) and i know where that is!" and pick out a different umbrella i'd seen before

she clicks a button on it, but it doesn't turn into a beach umbrella. it's just a stick. a very, very long stick. i panic a bit, thinking i've chosen the wrong thing. but it keeps on growing and growing higher, until... i see it transform into a huge boat, complete with sails, a crow's tower, a mast, and a flag.

and i wish i'd gotten to buy that umbrella i really wanted.
