Reasoning:  Passed down through several generations within his family, Juju naturally would be instructed on a means of defending himself in a similar manner to how his father was raised. Given how both his parents utilized the Yin Yang style, his father was VERY insistent upon passing it down to him through a means of harsh, rigorous training. This is done over the course of several years during the timeskip, from an expert within said style. Aster has acquired the Yin Yang style and utilized it for some time, so it would be a simple matter of instructing and training Juju intensely in order to be able to harness it as his own. Given the background of his family, it is not a stretch to foster and adopt this style for his own means. They'd likely train frequently within the AR room in order to safely pass down the information, and to be able to go all out within said safe environment.

With more intensive training ramping up, Juju takes on enemies that truly challenge him and his ability to fare in combat. From losing to 'Strong' several times over, he's crushed in battle against his fellow Half-Saiyan and...by a murderous Blob! With a lack of actual drive causing Juju to become complacent, he gears up to prepare for the assault upon 'Xavier' who had essentially murdered the Commander he had enlisted under. With a solidified goal in mind, he trains diligently with Aster in order to master the Ying Yang fighting style. He's ambushed on several different occasions out of the blue, in order to adjust to abrupt changes in movements and attacks from enemies.

 In addition to this, he spends painstaking amounts of time analyzing those of the crew, in order to acquire a solid grasp upon how to read opponents, and use their strengths against them in the flow of combat. With experience garnered from personal combat experience, and his analytical skills increasing due to observing comrades, as well as undergoing investigations in the series of murders that have been occurring in the resident district. His attention to detail has been whet by his personal life experiences, accompanied with a well rounded training regiment.
