- 1221 for access to lever skips and other speed tech
- Heckdouken:
- -Right stick look downs to avoid Gruzzers
- -Double spike kill, precise on 1221
- -Kill FK for geo. Other option is Moss Knights which are less consistent.
- -Don't need City Crest because we don't need left side city, we need right side.
- -Soul Catcher for extra soul for more spells. Allows overcharming earlier.
- Greenpath:
- -Same as speedrun. Kill a few extra enemies for safety.
- Shaman Stone:
- -We get this before fungal so that we can continue on with the route. Same fights as normal speedrun.
- -We do not equip it just yet because it makes the mantis pogo later more consistent, and isn't yet needed.
- Mantises:
- -This split is exactly the same as a normal run.
- -Low% explosion pogo cannot risk being hit.
- Tram Pass:
- -We need access to specifically right side city, but cannot shade skip. We take tram there.
- -This segment is extremely consistent and relies on soul management to use 3 fireballs at the end in the one room that can be a problem.
- -The dirtcarver shooters will never hit you if you don't slow down.
- Dream Nail:
- -I fill up on soul here to have 3 fireballs for later in the split with risky enemies.
- -We'll kill as much as we can to save up for Dash Slash.
- -Falling from dreams in our ruleset does not count as a hit. We will still do the drop that saves a second loadless.
- Dash Slash:
- -Same as a normal run.
- Shade Soul and DDive:
- -Dash Slash lever skips allow us to skip the hard part of getting Shade Soul and most of Sanctum.
- -Twister makes remaining bosses more consistent.
- -Twisters that have been killed will not respawn allowing an easier exit.
- -Picking up DDive is a hard save so we need to leave the intended way.
- Watchers:
- -Same as the TE Shade Soul fight. Gives remaining geo for the run
- CDash:
- -Enter through dive entrance because we will not be getting lantern. Dive's iframes are more valuable later for drops.
- -Same as speedrun.
- hkUwu:
- -Dive for drops.
- -Normal Shade Soul fight.
- Trap Bench and Herrah:
- -Acid skip going to QG is much more lenient than QGA. Dash Slash to enter.
- -Dive used for drops
- -Fireball spiders through wall for safety. Devouts die to 3.
- Big Brother:
- Normal Shade Soul THK fight.
