Girls und Panzer ramblings

Wow I knew I was getting a fixer upper but damn when they showed me my new school… the damn thing was barely sea worthy. Then they showed me the relics that would serve as my tanks… they didn’t even run. I knew this was going to be a long jump.

This was a strange jump, I had more and less companions than usual. I was able to have all of my female  companions out at once but since I none of my male companions really fancied the idea of going a decade as a girl they were locked out of the jump. It made it kind of awkward when they would meet for private time in the dimension in my soul. Ah well you get used to lots of weird things when you’re a jumper.

So I managed to get the tanks working well enough to use and patch up the ship enough to challenge another school. So I challenged the top school in   our division making a spectacle of it. It took a lot of  convincing to even get them to take my challenge. Money changed hands and favors were owed.
We had the battle on my ship ( I needed the home turf advantage) and do to my brilliant planning and admittedly some brilliant moves by one particular student we managed to pull off an impossible upset.

This we needed because it brought attention which brought investors… unfortunately that brilliant student happened to be Victoria Von Doom (or Doom-chan as I like to call her).

Well Doom chan spun this as her victory and began to try and fight me for control of the school.  I admit she was a clever one she practically forced me in to a split squad challenge for the right to run the school. Being a sneaky one she made sure she got the new tanks while we were stuck with the oldWWI tanks.

It was a hard fight and it actually came down to my tank and hers but I won… mainly because she was unfamiliar with the new tank. After that she acknowledged me as a worthy rival (and Jump chan informed me she would be coming with us…) So after settling in to a best of enemies relationship we actually got the school going and managed to start putting a string of wins together… we quickly won our division and actually successfully petitioned for a right to challenge the major division in the biggest Cinderella story in tankery.

So at last we made it to the major league, playing with the big kids the rising stars… and we got stomped hard in our first year there. It was a large period of adjustment. It wasn’t surprising in retrospect we were playing against the best but everyone seemed to to turn on me… except of course my companions and strangely enough Doom-chan. I guess she respected me too much to pile on.

So I took the hard earned lessons from our first season in the big leagues and streamlined some of our strategies, took out some loans to upgrade our tanks so they were equal to the others and made a few changes in teams.

The second year we came out with a purpose. It was a hard fight and we caught a lot of teams of guard who thought our sudden rise was a fluke. We proved we belonged there. We came close to the championship.

Then in our third year (my first high school year… yay high school again) Things were tougher because people knew we were good but I had also learned our opponents strategies, there were no more surprises and things just came down to skill. We managed to fight our way all the way to the championship and pulled a major upset to win it.

After that we became one of the premier Tankery schools in the world… our ship was nearly entirely rebuilt to be top of the line (this caused some problems with stuff in my warehouse being revealed…. No no that’s not a real super robot that’s just a statue like all the other statues…) In the end it was a hard decade but we pulled together and pulled it off.
