- -Basic TAS Tech (Time given is the file time seen in top left corner)-
- 00:10.4 - You can get a speed boost by corner grab jumping, this is used in many places throughout the run.
- 00:15.7 - Bunny hopping is faster. Each jump you do, regardless of height, saves 2 frames.
- 00:43.8 - Super extended dash. Super dashes are horizontal dashes into a jump giving 260 speed with a normal jump. Extended means you jump after you regain your dash.
- 00:46.9 - 'Spike Jumping' These are not spike jumps. You are actually jumping off the side of the wall.
- 00:49.4 - Wall boosting. You can only do these from a vertical dash, and only within the first 20 frames from when you dash.
- 00:50.1 - Hyper extended dash. Hyper dashes are diagonal down dashes into a jump giving 325 speed with a shorter jump.
- 01:04.1 - Ultra dash. This is a diagonal down dash as well, but is done from a hyper. In this case we also set it up so we are high enough in the air so when you hit the ground you get a boost of speed which the game would usually slow you down to a hyper speed of 325, but this one allows us to get to 400. This will be used very visibly at the end of Old Site.
- 01:55.2 - This cutscene requires you to enter the area and then leave it. We do this by up left dashing, which also in the process puts us high in the air. When you skip this cutscene the game keeps your Y position and puts us directly in the dream block saving time.
- 01:58.6 - Exiting a dream block you can press jump, which will both give you a slight boost of speed and a jump. You can however press jump the frame before you exit and the frame after and get two jumps for even more speed. You can hear this by the double 'woosh'.
- 03:07.7 - This whole ending section uses chained ultra dashes to get to 700+ speed.
- 03:17.8 - These are 'normal' ultra dashes, which give you 390 speed.
- 03:23.2 - Screen transitions give your dash back allowing you to get enough height to get the key.
- 03:32.1 - Getting strawberries are not slower in the context of Game Time, since overworld time is not counted in the timer.
- 05:38.1 - Jumping off the surface of water gives you a slight speed boost. The TAS can abuse this and actually jump on each frame for 9 frames boosting Madeline to 500+ speed.
- 06:11.8 - 'Rerying' from the menu after grabbing a key will respawn you at the last spawn point, which in this case is faster.
- 07:16.9 - More water boosting into ultra dashes
- 08:28.6 - Wall jumping perfectly off very small areas, still not spike jumping.
- 09:15.4 - This is the one and only real 'Spike Jump'. Can only be done when the wind pushes you into the spikes and buffering the jump.
- 11:01.2 - These dash blocks will give you a boost if you dash off of them when they move.
- 12:35.1 - Using these dash blocks and Theo, we are able to get 3 boosts off this individual platform getting us to 1426 speed. So fast that we can then phase through spikes in the next screen since one frame we are on the left and the next we are on the right.
- 12:58.6 - Using analog controls is the fastest in Celeste. Not only because of the omnidirectional input, but also because when turning you can turn slow enough that you keep the max speed of 190. If you were to turn with DPad it would slow you down to 150 for a bit.
- 13:23.1 - Doing a reverse hyper into a bunny hop to get 2 boosts off this block.
- 16:57.4 - Skipping this cutscene while in a dash allows us to keep the dash speed after the cutscene and go so fast to reach Badeline before she gets there.
- 23:07.3 - Normally doing an up left dash here would not work, however if you can get a corner jump off you will be able to jump up normally.
