  1. Gavin Lewandowski: This now means, that with Lifelog running (to use with the Smartband) users are experiencing battery drain
  2. Gavin Lewandowski: My phone has been on for 5hours 15minutes and 40seconds and Lifelog has used 14% of the battery and kept the device alive for 1 hour 11minutes and 31seconds - this behaviour has only been noticed with this new update
  3. Hayley: The permissions for any applications can change as more features are added so there wouldn't be a way to stop this unfortunately if you do use this application. You could see if you are able to uninstall the updates to this app to restore it to an earlier version, but this may mean that future updates or changes would not work without you updating this.
  4. Gavin Lewandowski: Whilst I understand this, currently Lifelog is useless as our devices will not retain their battery power. We are having to Force Close the application and our life activities are not logged
  5. Hayley: You can't alter the permissions the app requires I'm afraid so if you do want to use the app you need to accept the permissions when you update it.
  6. Gavin Lewandowski: Would you be able to explain why this option has been added , as it does not make sense to increase the battery drain on the device - it would appear maybe this is a bug/ or some debugging code left in ?
  7. Gavin Lewandowski: I have just tried your solution to uninstall the update, unfortunately this is not possible and the whole application has to be removed :(
  8. Hayley: If this has been added as a permission then this would not be a fault with the app, as the app needs to be constantly running to register your information then this may be needed to use some features of the app or future features.
  9. Gavin Lewandowski: But, with the battery draining so fast, the app and the smart band is going to become useless , i would appreciate if this could be investigated further , there are a number of users on social media that have now uninstalled the lifelog application due to this update
  10. Hayley: I can certainly pass on your feedback regarding this, but if this is a permission the application requires for any of the features then it is likely this may not be able to be changed.
  11. Hayley: I would advise checking for any future updates to the application to see if this is changed in future.
  12. Gavin Lewandowski: Thank you - I am hoping the permission has been added in error and this will be realised and an update pushed to resolve. I will pass this information onto other users who are currently discussing the same matter
  13. Hayley: I hope the information I have given answers your query Gavin. Is there anything else I can help you with?
