Kikar is divided into two kingdoms, the Lionic Empire, and Everian.

They've long been on bad terms, but have been on a peace treaty for some time, since the crowing of the Red King, who saved both of their territories long ago from the wrath of an ancient red dragon under the name of Xeric.

The leader of the Lionic Empire, is the Red King (The Decrepit King).

The Leader of the Everians is Archmage Frasia

Unfortunately, Winterbane, as they have come to call themselves, have made a move on Lorraine, the capital of the Lionic Empire and where the king resides. During the sudden attack, the Red King was defeated and barely alive, now known as the Decrepit King due to his frail nature and mortal wounds. He's expected to die within a few days, and the capital of the Lionic Empire has been overthrown, now under the rule of the Icy King, as they've come to call him.

Everian has yet to make a move, and are a wild card in the situation. Unfortunately however, no one has heard from them since the attack.
